Assassins Creed: Brotherhood

The critically acclaimed single-player experience of Assassin's Creed is back and better than ever as Ezio returns in an epic struggle against the powerful Templar Order.
Now a legendary Master Assassin, Ezio must journey into Italy's greatest city, Rome, center of power, greed and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy. Defeating the corrupt tyrants entrenched there will require not only strength, but leadership, as Ezio commands an entire Brotherhood that will rally to his side. Only by working together can the Assassins defeat their mortal enemies.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood offers a never-before-seen multiplayer layer. Players can help the Templars by using Abstergo to train in the art of Assassination to eliminate the Assassins once and for all. Players can choose from a wide range of unique characters, each with their own signature weapons and assassination techniques, and match their skills against other players from all over the world in different game modes.

It is to be announced at this years E3, this Tuesday at 5:30. Any thughts and expectations? The games going to be set in Rome, information was released in Official Playstation Magazine.

Personally I think (Know) it will be an awesome game :awesome:

I played Assasin's Creed 2 and played the DLC. This can only be good news. :jess: I'm really looking forward to this. Multiplayer is gonna make this game incredible if they do it right. (Which they will, knowing them)

*drools*
This game looks friggin' amazing! I can't wait to play the multi-player. It's gonna be sick!

I'm just happy Ezio is still the main character in this game. :britt:

I agree completely, I mean they have done no wrong with this series and a Multiplayer will only make it better. Though I am not sure how it will fair against Halo: Reach :tongue1: Sales wise that is.

The first two games were awesome, it only goes up from here

Yea, Halo Reach is gonna be a bitch to outsale. But, I think in quality, AC:B will be way more respected and loved.

Yeah agreed Cali!
Ezio is the shitz :ryan:

Anyways, I enjoyed AC2 and i'm a huge fan of the game so, i'm excited for this game :D.

Not to mention the multi-player. sounds frickin' badass and the fact that you can create your own character in the sense of their techniques/ etc is awesome (=

Dannnggg, I cant waaaaaiiitttttt.

:fan:

I really enjoy the AC series so I'm definitely going to pick it up when it comes out. The only thing that bugs me is that they stuck with Ezio. Yeah I enjoyed playing him in AC2 but I would have preferred a new ancestor and a new age in history to play and explore.

BTW, is AC going to be a trilogy? Will this game conclude the story? Maybe I'm getting confused with something else.

No and yes. AC series is a trilogy. But Brotherhood is like a side-game with a lot of info but isn't the last game. We still have Assassin's Creed III to look forward to.

Really? Well then I have no problem with Ezio being in this game! :wacky:

Don't call it a sequel, don't call it a side-game...it just is :thehell:

Me neither :perv:

In Playstation Magazine it says that Roma will be like 5x bigger than Venice was, which means it will be frikkin huge, and you get the awesome Harlequin guy in the multiplayer :gasp:

And training your own Assassins:gasp:, although I am not clear on something will you be able to be the Templars too?

Whoops--sorreh. :mokken:

I almost can't believe how big Roma is gonna be. There's no way it's gonna be THAT big.

This game just looks like an Assassin's Creed 2.5 or something like that. Which is good - more AC is no problem unless they're planning on milking the franchise relentlessly. I've yet to get Assassin's Creed II itself. I'll need to play through that one first before I turn my attention onto this one.

And that trailer was alright as well. There should be quite a few important Renaissance figures in 16th century Rome to assassinate. I love how the soldiers that surround Ezio just fall so easily like that. And a band of assassins......that should be interesting.....perhaps a more tactical side to it as well?

Rome (or at least modern Rome) is about 1,285 sq. km. / 500 sq. miles, and is THE Largest and most populated city in the Italian Peninsula. The other major cities in the Assassin's Creed 2 era, Venice (415 sq. km / 160 sq. miles), Milan (184 sq. km. / 71 sq. miles) and Florence (102 sq. km /40 sq. miles) all pale in comparison to the sheer size of the then-Papal Capital.

So in short, yeah CaliBabe, it's that big.

Holy--

I wonder if they'll be able to pull through and make it as detailed and realistic. I hope so!:gasp:

I saw the E3 Trailer for Brotherhood. Apparently it involves the much more good looking son of Rodrigo Borgia, Cesare.

1503 Rome, huh. I think we may be seeing some French people in this...

Yepp thats who you saw, he is said to be just as strong and/or an equal match to Ezio, his dark counterpart if you will :ryan:

So did Uncle Mario die?

I am so buying this game nothing will stop meh, I'll be in the store the night it comes out :fan:

according to Wikipedia,
yes
but if Cesare is the Templar's counterpart to Ezio, then damn. This will be an interesting engagement.

I wasn't expecting this. I mean I guess I was to an extent, since we only got to see some of the Vatican in AC2, but I always expected that they'd just release a PSP game for further Ezio adventures.

I'm glad that this is another big AC game, but not within the main trilogy. Rome is a FANTASTIC place, so it'll be great to see how they do it set during 1503. I’m glad they showed us the Pantheon in the trailer.

With a multiplayer element AC is finally beginning a dream I had for it while I was playing AC2. I was thinking how awesome it would be to play it online with many Assassins and Templars. Now that they are attempting it I am very happy, though does anyone know if it will be open world online (but with different objectives and stuff to do), or would it be closed spaces for a death match sort of thing? If the latter, then that sucks, but it seems that since multiplayer is such a large element of this game they are intending to do it properly and the way we want it. Things will likely be closed off to an extent, but hopefully we have enough room to climb tall buildings and hide / jump out at people. Even that would require quite a large space.

I saw a trailer which was cgi only. Is there any footage of the gameplay itself yet or is all of that top secret right now? This is the first that I've really heard of this game so I'm way out of the loop. I searched online and apparently there is a gameplay video knocking about today but I can’t find it.
