AOTW and SOTW Voting

ATT MOD: I'm not quite sure if this thread is meant to be here, SPAM or Graphics Reverie.

So if a mod could move it to the necessary section that'd be much appreciated.

Basically I was wondering why some people only vote in the SOTW and some only vote in the AOTW, while some vote within both?

Is it because some weeks you can't stand any of the entries for SOTW so you simply don't vote, but find that something motivates you to vote in the AOTW thread of that week? Or vice-versa?

I've noticed that SOTW always has alot more votes than AOTW. I was just wondering why you people who vote for only one thread don't vote for both?

I just find it like an OCD thing myself. I have to vote for both.

Please explain your reasons for why you do any of the options in the poll.

I really don't vote for anything, I just think "hmm . . . I need new posts I think Imma vote in SOTW and AOTW" >.> but I vote for what is the best anyway IMO and usually if I entered a SOTW I don't vote but I do in AOTW. >.>

I rarely vote, I cant do the whole photoshop thing myself so I never really bother with that section. I do on occasion, but something has to really stand out otr there can't be many, otherwise i cant decide, then I just think sod it and go elsewhere.

I rarely vote in SOTW AOTW any moar.

But when I do, I mostly vote in the SOTW depending the theme and if I can decide what one I like the best. >_>

What I'll do is move it over to the GFX Lounge; a sub-forum in the Graphics Reverie. It's not somewhere I visit frequently, so it might be moved again (and I don't mind if it is: the GFX Lounge just felt more appropriate, to me). I've left a re-direct on the thread if you want to find it again.

I vote... but not recently. I usually ferget right up to the last point and then think "hoshit, didn't vote"

I hate voting if I'm in one though because I like the C&C at the same time and it kinda lets on which is mine. XD

I always vote in both unless either ive put in an entry(which is almost every week now) or i dont like any of the entries, which is rare because sotw entries are almost always superb.
Il occasionally vote even if ive entered but thats usually only when i think that a particular sig is really stunning.

Since I run SOTW / AOTW, I do tend to vote in every SOTW / AOTW, unless it's really close between people and my vote would be the decider, I think it may be an unfair advantage to know who made which signature, and I try to enter as many A/SOTWs as possible, and I don't like to vote if I'm in the poll.

I will vote every other week, when Vikki runs it, cause then I generally don't know who's made what and it seems fair to vote xD

I vote for both too, If I vote on one, I have to vote on the other.

I think it's quite ignorant of us not to vote in the GFX competitions: our artists are so dedicated and manage to keep the competitions going and, without them, there'd be no competition. The least we can do is take a few seconds out of our day to stick our two cents in every now and then.

I try to vote whenever I can, so long as I remember that we've moved on to a new week.

I vote based on if they have good ones or not. usually both do so I usually vote on both. Sotw tends to get votes from me the most right now anyways.

These days I would never vote. I just like giving out my opinion and advice if needed anyway.

If I'm not entered in the thread, I don't look at it. If I'm entered in SOTW, and I'm fed up with all the good entries, I vote in AOTW, and vise versa.
