Wow that peacock image is so beautiful! I love it. The image is so :awesome: and the text is nice. Better than number 2 imho. Vote goes to number 1!

The Koala one is hella cute but I'm afraid the vibrant colours of the peacock caught my attention and so it gains my vote :]
 
I voted for number 1.

The colours stood out wonderfully and I was actually thinking of using a peacock for my entry. =) Sadly I didn't get to enter either competition this week.

The font I think needs to be a bit more bold in order to be more readable.

Apart from that, lovely colours, lighting and placement of the image. The one pixel border rounds it off nicely too. =)
 
#1 was very beautiful . i really liked the colors and the whole picture was just great :D
 
Number 1 for me aswell, the colours look fantastic. Number 2 looks nice however im unable to identify what kind of animal it is, a bear maybe..
 
#1 was very well done, don't get me wrong but here my vote goes for #2. Its very simple and well-placed. The text also goes really well. #1 In my opinion has to much going on
 
Number one, I cant tell what the 2nd one is, is it a piglet? =/
 
My vote goes to #1

I loved the colors and the text was cute and different. It took me awhile to figure out it was a koala bear in the second entry, and besides that, I'm not that fond of the text or its placement.
 
Damn.. it's hard to say no to a koala, being Aussie afterall. They're the damned cutest things.. however, I feel the image used for the koala could have been a better choice - it was hard to make out at first and the visibility of their features (like the ears and nose) could be a lot better. I'm also not fond of the text placement, however it is a very well done entry. :)

Number #1 takes my vote. Excellent animal choice for starters - so much colour - and I think overall it is just better put together than #2. It is much easier to see the fine features of the animal, and appreciate how beautiful the peacock is.
 
im sorry but im going to have to go with number 1 it looks better the other one just looks really plan and like nothing was really done in it
