AOTW 2 Voting Thread

Hmmmm, it was a tough choice, but I ended up voting for 2. I like the background of the avatar, also the blue lines going through were a nice touch. The text also fits in well with pic

Number 2, easily. It's just that good ;D I can't even put my finger on it, though...

I like 3 a lot. Again, simple design and colors, and the text is very nice to look at. The hazy effect on the left-bottom is probably what did it though.

I'm going for #3. The Sakura image is nice and clear, the lighting is great and the font is great plus it's topped of with a nice border.

I actually vote 3...

1:This is a nice avatar, but feels more like it's been cut out from a sig. :/ I think the image, especially at that size, is best suited to a sig. It's lovely work, and the bg is really nice, the blending is superb, but it just doesn't feel like it's made to be an avatar.

2: It's nice, but the image takes up too much and doesn't go with the bg. The text also doesn't quite suit, I don't think. Or maybe it's mainly the bg. I was on the verge or voting for this one, but now I feel the bg would have benefitted from being lighter and more subtle. The character looks pure, so the bg should, to suit, be pure too.

3: I do think this is rather simple, but that's what I like in avatars really. The text also, for me, makes the sig. Sakura is just about the right size, and in the right place, and the blending is also nice and soft, enhancing her gentle looking pose.

1. It's the only one that appeals to me is all, really. Just gives off a better appeal than the other presented avatars, I think.

I'm just not fond of text in avatars at all, they are too small, although I still would have gone with the first one anyway it's pretty
