Do you get allergies (the kind from pollen)? Do you get them in the spring for fall?

I usually do not, but this year I've had them very bad. My nose is stuffed up, my eyes are constantly watering and I have a headache. And I keep sneezing. It's quite inconvient at this time because I have a very busy week ahead and I just want to lay down and not do any school work.

A lot of people have bad allergies this year around where I live. My fiance is never sick and even he has them :(

Awww yeah, I certainly have allergies. It is weird though, I've always had bad nasal allergies, and it was pretty much year round. In time though, as I got older, I seem to have grown out of them. I still get them every now and again, and it's usually a bad attack, but I'm glad I don't get them as much anymore.

But here's the odd thing, even though my nasal allergies went away somewhat, I seemed to have gained eye and throat allergies. During the summer time, I have to clear my throat a LOT and I have to keep putting Visine in my eyes because they're red, dry and itchy.

So allergy issues suck in general, no matter what way they affect you. :mokken:

I don't think I'm allergic to anything at all.

I'm pretty lucky. Whenever Spring rolls around I don't get affected by pollen or anything.

But I know a few people at work who have them and it's quite shocking to see how much Zyrtec they go through because of it. >.<

I'm pretty hit and miss with hay-fever, it varies from year to year. Some years it's absolutely atrocious and I get it really bad, sneezing, eyes-watering, the whole shebang. Other years, it's not as bad.

I always make sure to keep tablets with me though, they're pretty good. As soon as I start sneezing uncontrollably, I just take one of them, and they get me through the day.

I thankfully, don't have many allergies during this time. I remember when i was wee little the doc said that i wasnt allergic to anything but, i guess its changed over the years.
I tend to get it doing the fall and thats where my eyes are scratchy, throat hurts, coughing, sneezing not so much during the spring.

i dont get allergies if i get used to the pollen early on, I havent had hay fever in years
I just have to spend some time outside and i have to stay active during the summer and not sit on my ass playing video games all the time like i usually do

I guess i'm one of the lucky ones. I never get allergies even though mother suffers from them year round. For that matter I rarely get sick. Last thing i got was a head cold from sweden in winter break '09. I had it for 14 hrs; the rest of the family had it for a week. The time before that was strep throat, which is eight years ago.

Hayfever's a cunt and a half...I live in a little farm village with lots of fields around and it kills me. Worst ever was when I camped at a music festival in the fields and I basically lived in a bed of pollen. I've become quite resistant to the non-drowsy antihistamines and a few of the others one.

Hayfever is a bitch to me as well. :gonk:

Even when Spring rolls in and it's the early days - even with the tiniest bit of pollen, my nose ends up all stuffy, perhaps runny and I sneeze frighteningly frequently. In summer it does get slightly worse. I would get it really often particularly in June and July. It isn't good because my exams are in June. And ah - summer is coming up. Great.

I may also have an allergy to dust. I'm full of nasal allergies. How fun. Whenever I encounter a lot of dust, I start sneezing. That happened when I was in Barcelona. A bit of dust on the streets and my nose started being a bitch. I swear - I would even be happy not to have a nose.

I don't ever get seasonal allergies, however I am severely allergic to very strong perfumes and chemical cleaners. Which sucks because people use them year round, especially where I work :sad3: And if it's at work I can't get away from it either because I have to be polite to the customers; I don't think they'd really appreciate it if I sprayed them with a hose to wash it off instead of helping them :hmmm: But it really tears up my eyes and bothers my sinuses, and usually culminates in a really bad headache :(

Ive got my hayfever and dust allergies. I hate having hayfever, puffy, itchy eyes arent funny at all. I take tablets for them, doubt they actually work though.

I have them really bad in the Spring but the fall doesn't really affect me. Around this time, I sneeze constantly and my eyes are all itchy and red. And I get seasonal asthma (or asthmatic symptoms anyway). I start weezing a lot, especially if I do any sort of exercise or activities outside. I usually have to get an inhaler for the spring.

It really sucks because otherwise I love the Spring. :gonk:
