I've seen the film, got the first volume of the comics, and got the game. 
It's good. It's just not meant to be taken seriously at all. It's very over-the-top, but it has a lot of energy to it. It's not afraid to show "pows!" and "bams!" on the film version, which is really great as it isn't reduced to being a normal movie then. It translates quite well.
