A nervous intro

Heylo.
I dunno why I'm always nervous signing up to a forum. I'm no good at first impressions, that's probably it :P

This forum was suggested to me a while ago, but it takes me a while to get the nerve. I joined today as I was looking for a new FF forum to chat to fellow fans without all the drama - I wont say anymore ^_^ I'm just here for good laugh and casual chat about FF

I love rpgs, I did start with Pokemon :P I still play it. I got into Final Fantasy a couple of years ago thanks to my big sis and a friend of mine. My favourite FF's are 7, 10, 12, 6 & Dissidia. First FF game I played was 3, but I only just recently finished that, Miss Darkness was my nemesis ;)

My fav characters are: Cloud, Aerith, Terra/Tina, Auron, Rikku, Vivi, Balthier, Sephiroth and Kefka.

Pairings wise I support (off the top of my head): Cloud/Aerith, Cloud/Zack, Aerith/Zack, Cid/Shera, Zidane/Dagger, Tidus/Yuna. Out of FF: Fry/Leela (Futurama), Janeway/Chakotay (ST Voyager), James/Jessie (Pokemon, when I used to watch it anyway). I love talking about any of them without arguing, after this I'm going to check out that Club forum ;)

Oh other rpgs I love are the Shin Megami Tensei series (Persona 3 & 4, Digital Devil Saga) and quite recently the Star Ocean series (Last Hope is amazing).

Hmm I'm quite creative, but in a silly over the top way these days. I've got too many incredibly daft videos on Youtube (FifthFantasy, remember that so you can block it :P ) and I used to make silly signature pics. I much prefer to write though, but I've been stuck in a block for nearly a year now :O

Yikes I wrote too much in my first post. Sorry, I was supposed to do that after 10 posts. Anyways hello, feel free to run away from this topic :P

Hey, welcome to the forums. You should relax, there's nothing wrong with your introduction or anything in the slightest. You seem fine at first impressions.

It's nice to see a fellow Pokemon fan. I'd gotten back into it (w/ Pearl) a while back during my Senior year, and it was fun. I haven't been up-to-date with it as of late, but HGSS will probably change that.

Nice list of favorite final fantasy. All the big hitters I see. It's also interesting to see XII listed on there, as it's a contrast from the other games you listed, I think.

We don't bite here. :D We're all pretty much laid back and just love to have fun. I'm really looking forward to the Silver/Gold remakes. It took restraint to stop myself importing from Japan, wish I had it when Dissidia was released :P I've been a fan since the originals. That reminds me, I still haven't finished Platinum. Did you play the GameCube games? (I love them *ducks*)

Yeah I realise those FF's are the most popular, lol it isn't why I picked them though. I forgot to put 9 in there. I finished that recently, it was a brilliant game. I loved 12 as it had the quests, the lack of random battles was a rare treat.. the story was pants though.

I'm a FFI, FFVI, FFVIII, FFX and FFXII fangirl personally. :yay: but three of the four ain't bad. I think it was four anyway. xDD

Thanks for the welcome Onion. Another Pokemon fan ey :D Do you like any of the spin off games; Mystery Dungeon, Ranger? I got so hooked onto Mystery Dungeon 1, I played that in Japanese 0_0 addictive game.

Hmm FF's wise, I did enjoy 1 when I played it, it was the second FF I finished (7 first lol). I'm sorry I didn't like 8, I've mostly enjoyed all the others. I do like FF4, but the version I have is quite difficult at times (must finish it!).

PS. It was 5 games, not 4.. you missed Dissidia :p though it's a spin off *sneaks away*

Not many people do like FFVIII I've found... it's my fave though :D

I love all the pokemon games. Mystery Dungeon hooked me something awful ;D

Just thought I'd also mention.. The link in your sig to your youtube channel doesn't work. You've put htttp, so a t extra so it doesn't work. Removed it and checked it out still, and lol at the Final Fantasy Vs Monkey Island videos. I'll have to watch them eventually. Just thought I'd warn you that you might want to edit the link.

Ah another Dungeon addic, I loved the first game. I'd spend hours and hours doing missions. I still haven't finished MD2 due to that *innocent smile*

You love them all? I am a huge fan of Colosseum and XD as they were the games that brought me to console gaming, but they don't see to be liked that much. I finished Battle Revolution in 11 hours, it was fun but I would of prefered a XD/Colo like Pokemon rpg on the Wii ^_^

And don't worry about fitting in and such like, this is definitely one of the kinder Final Fantasy communities out there, so you'll have no problem getting a long with people. :)
