Hey y'all!

This is going to be the discussion board for our upcoming group RP. I wasn't too sure on a title, so I kind of fudged it. :P

Anyway, feel free to sign up, posting a link to the character that you're going to use. Also, post a brief reason (like a sentence or two) explaining what your character is doing in the kingdom, along with any additional information you want the other RP'ers to know.

Here's the "prologue". If you guys want to change it for whatever reason, just let me know ;):

The kingdom of Virgio was one of great prosperity and a loving royal line for centuries. However, this light was cast into the dark abyss with the arrival of Atrum, a general and magician who operated in the higher echelons of the army. Atrum had a great lust for power, and sought the throne. With a violent coup d'eta, the royal family was removed and driven into hiding, signaling a period of economic depravity and war for the people of the realm. A small group of citizens formed a group dedicated to the removal of Atrum and called it Mannus Ferrea. Realizing that they stood little chance against the usurper and his magically enhanced troops, the group begin searching for help from distant lands to aid in their struggle.

What do you mean? The land you're coming from, or the land it's taking place in?

For the land you're coming from, it's up to you. As stated in the post above, the story takes place in the kingdom of Virgio. Does that answer your question?

i would like to join, using the same charecter that i am in ur other rp, a night of drinks.

and if u dont know, what i put for his alignment, whta it means is, he is veary senile, with a lust to kill, however he will only kill with reason, as he does know right from wrong...

Another quick thread update. Starting around this week, I'm going to start posting again. If anyone still needs more time, then post your grievance.
 
Rejoice, for our group's RP, "A Kingdom Darkly", is now in full swing. Enjoy the latest post. :D

For Schwarze, your character bio looks good. Just make sure to give a clear reason for coming into the story in one of your RP posts, and have fun with the rest of the group.

Before everyone does this, I feel the need to say that your starting circumstances don't necessarily have to be tied together with another character's. For example, not everyone here has to start along my character's lines (in the Grey Oak).

In fact, it's probably better for you to create your own circumstances. That way, you won't be bound to someone else's introduction.

Just a thought... :/
 
in my case altho My character is in the same area, he is far from sevan and headed in a different direction so...just throwin that out there in case it may become needed info for others in this rp

True Form: Mass collection of lightning bolts

Skills Explanation:
Being a Lightning Elemental grants her the ability to utilize lightning in almost all her attacks. However, she must be wary of the amount of lightning she has within herself, since it's the core of her existence. Nevertheless, she regenerates the lightning fairly quickly, so there is usually little need for worry.

Her skills are simply blasting bolts of lightning at people. She is not powerful enough to actually call upon a thunderstorm, or change the weather. (Though it may be possible, explained below) Usually, she would enchant her weapon of choice, a Claymore, with the element to achieve added effect when it hits an opponent.

And, like all lightning elemental, due to their constant generation of electricity, their powers actually increase over time if they do not actively use it. When it reaches a maximum point, people who get close to her would actually feel some static around her. That is an indication that she has stored maximum power. It is at this point she can call thunderstorms, but only once.

To call a thunderstorm requires 70% of the maximum storage of lightning, which is particularly dangerous to execute, especially if the timing is wrong- that is, when the person do not have 70% of the maximum storage.

Personality:
Cold. She regards human as an inferior race, and herself as superior to them. Though she doesn't express this explicitly, her icy exterior often gives people this impression. That, and the impression that she was evil, cruel, and generally most of the negative points that can be associated with character.

However, if someone were to know her better, she can be humorous- albeit sarcastically- and warm, but the only persons who have done this would be her fellow Lightning Elementals.

Just to let you all know, it's anyone's game for the next post. For those of you who are waiting for a different location to "recruit" your character, then just post it here so that everyone who's currently posting knows and can work it in to their current posts.
