/in before "Western bullshit" and "WAAA NO VERSUS XIII"

WESTERN CRAP. WAAA, NO VERSUS XIII!

:awesome:

I think most people are going to be focusing on Tomb Raider but, given Square Enix are behind it, expecting anything good to come from it is like expecting good to come from the ever elusive Versus XIII: misplaced optimism.

Im not that well informed about Crystal Dynamics but since ppl loved Legacy of Kain (which I never played btw) :hmmm:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_Dynamics

And the simple fact its rebooted as in more serious approach and not tits in yo face bullshit this game really intrigues me.
Looking forward to play this uncharted vibe game.

...that explains why people are focusing on it, then. In that case, don't mind me. xD

only western crap, how low you have fallen Square

Hi, I have noticed that you often post one-liners in the SE news section. Please refrain from doing so, and elaborate your post a little, like all the other members. Short posts that do not contribute to the thread can be considered as spam and may be deleted, according to the forum rules. If you refuse to change, I will have to resort to giving infraction points in the future. Thanks.

don't forget we might get versus 13 after the pre e3 leak..... oh wait nope it FFXV.... Soooo FF Versus 13 will never get released after all ;P

Yeah.......not really interested at all in any of this. Maybe Theatrhythm.....but that's about it. I know this is gonna sound like a broken record:

WHERE'S VERSUS XIII???! :gonk:

Only thing there I can bat my eyelashes at is that Tomb Raider game (but it's not like I'm any more interested than before because I already knew it existed last year). Remember when Square shelled out amazing RPGs every 1-3 years? Those were the days -_-

(I actually wasn't even aware the games existed back then because I was so young and didn't play vidjagames, but still, some of you know what I mean)

Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs look good, but not what I want SE to be releasing. And FF Dimensions does not excite me, nor do their other phone stuff. If you want to tout some type of handheld game at E3, how about bringing Type 0 over.

It's also Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs for me - the two best looking games of the entire list for very different reasons. I hope Sleeping Dogs at least turns out to be a comfortably decent hit at least, because the idea of running around Kowloon instead of somewhere typical like New York with all sorts of interesting combat moves sounds like a winner. Hitman instantly lost my blessing when it decided to go ridiculous with the nuns and the blatant sexualisation for cheap thrills. Say what you want about me. I'm just that type of person.

Square-Enix is quickly becoming its own Activision and at this point, a lack of actual Japanese-developed titles on the list is unsurprising. Not to mention E3 has quickly become a convention more catered to western game showings now, so I actually don't know what a lot of people were expecting.

only western crap

There's always one.

Yeah, E3 hasnt excited me as much as it used to in recent years. The Vita was awesome to see, but other than that, most games shown havent really excited me. Like you said, mostly more western game (which you get some cool ones, but not my favorite types).

E3 used to have massive secret reveals and it made things exciting. Not too much of that anymore. I've liked the TGS much much more in recent years

The Tomb Raider game actually looks quite decent and interesting. Though the rest doesn't look that thrilling imo. Sleeping Dogs could maybe be a good game though it's hard to tell yet.

I wish that SE could focus more on Eastern/ KH/ FF games are little bit more and drop the cellphone nonsense though a couple of promising western games won't hurt anybody.:)

The lack of Type-0 western release is a bit sad and disapointing though.

I'm not interested in this line-up and I have not been interested in SE's E3 presentations since 2006. Perchance I might take a look at Tomb Raider. ._. They need to take it easy on the mobile/handheld market.

I just thought of this a few hours ago.....what are the chances of an update on FFXHD. Or even them clearing the rumors of FFVersusXIII becoming FFXV? And what about Type-0?? It kinda seems like these three games should be in the line up....or in the case of FFXHD it should at least be mentioned, or give us updates :/

1. FF XV 2.0 trailer wasn't released in e3 & is due out in august.

2. FFX HD is coming(i think).

2. FF Versis XIII being FF XV hasn't been updated, yet.

3. Not sure what you mean about type 0. ;))

But wouldn't they want to show off the new and improved FFXIV? :? Maybe I'm not understanding it.....but to me it seems like a good idea to show it again at this E3 to redeem themselves after the horrible ratings it recieved before. As for FFXHD, I know it's coming but I'm wondering if they'll mention it at E3. As for Versus XIII, I would like to see updates of it at E3....a new trailer, gameplay footage, and update, anything.....

1. E3 is next weekend. ;)) June 5th - June 7th. The trailers I posted are pre-released stuff, we won't actually know until E3 whether or not the trailer that suggested Versus was XV is true, etc.

2. Yap. We should have more info next weekend. :elmo:

Perhaps Versus XIII has been renamed to Final Fantasy Dimensions.

As for those games.... I have not heard of the vast majority of them. I want to see how the new Tomb Raider does, as it looked like an interesting reboot.

Yet again, nothing for The Last Guardian. I think that was to be expected, though. I just hope that they sort out the issues they've been having with that game and release it before people completely forget about it. I can wait, as always, and I'd rather it be done right. So long as they don't cancel the project. :sad2:

EDIT: Didn't realise this was Square's line-up. I'd assumed that titles such as Hitman wouldn't have connection to Square.

Therefore, of course Last Guardian isn't on this list. :facepaw:

This merely reflects a changing world. Square is stamped on much, it seems.
