Ezio costume to appear in FFXIII-2

Assassin?s Creed Revelations is to lend one of its costume designs to Final Fantasy XIII-2, Square said this morning.The suit is worn by Ezio in Revelations, and will be available as an optional outfit for Noel Kreiss, one of the FFXIII-2?s main characters, as DLC.

The game releases on December 15 in Japan and in February in the US and Europe.That?s it. See it. Right there.

If this isn't a desperate plea for Western attention, I don't know what is. Do SE really have to sell their culture identity and their souls to mediocrity like this? If they're going to do cameo costumes, the least they could do is have some good ones. That's got nothing on the Tales series, with its fantastic anime costumes. Or why not something like Resonance of Fate, with its extreme level of customization? You could change their colour of their eyes in that, for crying out loud, you can't tell me that FFXIII-2 couldn't support a similar system, and that it wouldn't be all the more bearable because of it.

I'm just...disappointed. I suppose the costumes are nice and all, but I was expecting something Japanese, because they're a Japanese company. I wasn't expecting this shameless arse-kissing.

This is completely stupid. Why on earth did this happen? Why the hell does Noel have to get a costume and "be" Ezio Auditore? They are nothing alike, and quite frankly this has to be one of the most lame things Square Enix have ever done. What is next? Lara Croft getting Yuna's gunner costume?

Its just DLC people. I would be tempted to buy it if it also boost stats, but like most costume dlc its all for display. No value at all. I am starting to despise DLC.. DLC should be story involved imo like expansions and all costumes should be free.

I think the ingame monster accessories is way more lamer than this though. I agree SE should stop pleasing the West so much instead go collaborate with Bethesda or Bioware or stick to your own formula SE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah this is stupid. It is just DLC but the principle behind it should be that there should be FF downloable content in OTHER games, not in a FF game. To me it seems like they are admitting FF and they have lost something so they are looking to other game series to bring people in.

Kinda like they are taking the follower route instead of the leader.

An Ezio costume in Final Fantasy XIII-2 having seen the other costumes totally isn't going to look out of place. It's pretty sad that an RPG that comes from Japan has to use a costume from a game that is not even remotely like the game said costume has come from as DLC. Make your own DLC, Square.

Actually, I've no problem with this for once. I mean, it's not like I will get the game, let alone the DLC, so do whatever the hell you want. It's damn clear by now that SE is content with releasing just about anything as DLC in hopes that a lot of people will take the bait and bite with their wallets. And they will.

But by the way, Ubisoft, are you that desperate that you would whore out Assassin's Creed to anyone?
