Sometimes, if I'm lucky though, I'll get on-call status where if they need me they'll end up calling me back before 8am...and sometimes they don't end up calling so I get a free $20 for the day and the day off ...or I'll get a VRH and lose the hours. ...and I usually work 8's...but if we are busy and they ask me to work a 12 I usually will.

...and I totally agree, DI is not as much fun without a mic...and I've been having to do the no mic thing at night when I play now because the roomie is trying to sleep. Its a pain in the arse

Yeah its my work weekend this weekend. I went in for an NRP class on Thursday and looked at our patient board and we weren't incredibly busy...so I hope things have perked up today so that I'm on my floor this weekend and not floating to another area of the hospital like the telemetry floor or the med surg floor. I don't really mind it too much its just busy days when I float, and I feel like a fish out of water because our floor is really backwards from the rest of them

IT WAS A DISASTER. I couldn't read the first word. The first word Lew, I blanked out comfort me I stood there for a whole minute not saying anything and everyone was just...looking at me. Anyway the prof said it for me and it kind of got the ball rolling. I was able to finish the 4 paragraphs (thankfully) but I'm sure I made mistakes somewhere
