[S-U/D] Skies of Elleard

Another neutral Skylerkian... Who is also part machine...

Sweet... Gavin! Our characters need to meet up and travel together! They would totally kick ass!

And Ringo, my character's personality will be updated when I actually find I have the creative spark to write (I'm lacking at the moment, but I shall get to it soon!). I know what the personality is going to be, though, so expect it either before you start or shortly after you start.

Also... we seem to be severely lacking in Skylerkians who actually help their nation. All Skylerkians (so far) are neutral (Kevin has Mercenary, but that means the same thing.) Erm, lack of support here? 5 bucks says we end up destroying Skylerkia's capital city out of spite.

Hmm.... I'm tempted to make all of us neutral people meet up and then journey into the main excavation site of the ancients.... see if we, with our mix of specialities and abilities, can penetrate the deepest secrets. Bet you we can!

Idk bout that Shadow. Julius has a buisness to attend to. Unless something were to happen to it i dont think he would leave it. And if you want our characters to meet I suppose you could be one of my customers...

Hmm.... well, I can always dream up something random.

As for being a customer, he probably will be, or at least a fellow minded person. He has his own mechanical attachments (his arm and eye) so he understands your position. Though he is also a golem driver...

I wonder if it would be possible for you to create wing upgrades for my golem?

I probably could but it would be up to you to bring it up. And you should note that his specialty is in his innovation using the energy produced by the body to power the mechanical attachments instead of a power supply. That being said, it would probably be easier to do it to you than to the golem.

Hmm... interesting... your character is more focused on biological then technological...

Shadow has no need of wings. The only reason he has mechanical components is due to necessity, not out of anything he chose to do. They also double as weapons, as there are many bandits, if you look hard enough.

As for my golem.... actually, it probably would be best if Machina Storm didn't have wings. It's pretty powerful as is.

Still though, I'm pretty sure our characters could find something to do. They're very alike, despite their difference in specialities.

Could Shadow stay with your character as a boarder for a time? He can create inventions as well, and can probably supply your shop with more options in return for staying there.

It would be kinda cool. I think Shadow would enjoy a time living with someone else.

My bio is completely finished now, just so you all know.

Name: Rao Thembell

Nationality: Neristria

Race: Elf

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Appearance: Rao is tall, appriximately 6 foot 5 with blonde short hair. His eyes are a soft light green with a tint of light blue. His face is soft and handsome and his skin is pale as snow. He wears a white cloak with black patterns outlining it. His cloak possesses symbols of magic. Underneath his cloak he wears a formal collared shirt and pants that seems to hug his thin limbs. His shirt is always buttoned up but there is no tie and it is the color of white. His sleeves are rolled up always and with a long strap connects to the white magical gloves he wears. His gloves are white with black symbols upon them. His pants are black but are overshadowed by the silver boots that seem to cover most of his legs. The boots are silver and elfen made which makes it easier for him to maneuver in. Rao also carries a sack full of scrolls and whatever else diagonally underneath his cloak. The bag is brown and worn.

Personality: Rao is a very quiet person. He easily get attatched to others who fight alongside him which easily can become his weakness. He is very upbeat and is often called "Romantic" or Chivalric" by others. He loves to be in the company of others and is very sad and depressed when he is alone. He has slight abandonment issues and cannot easily let go of certain things. Rao is very passionate when it comes to magic and can be serious in times of conversation. He can also be a little careless at times in the heat of battle.

History: Rao was born amoung a group of skillful magic practicers. From an early age he was taught the basics of magic and all of it's components. it wasn't until his early teens that Rao had taken an interest into science as well. He wished so heavily to combine magic and science and soon became the first one to discover it. Although he was of a different race and nationality he became well respected by others of the Skylerks. As he grew Rao began to discover a secret to magic that only he was able to pull off. By combining magic and science he became one of the most powerful mages of Elleard...

In present day Rao has acquired a self made airship with the help of his magics and sciences. He travels the skies in search of new adventures and discoveries of the wide open world.

Weapons:

Rao does not posses any weapon of sorts. He has trained his body as a weapon though! ^_^

Skills/Skills/Etc.

Fighting style:

Ka-Lem-Ba: A fighting style Rao has come up with all his own that include all of his skills at once. He mixes street fighting with gymnastics in his fighting style but also puts a spin on it using his magical skills when he strikes an opponent. An example of this:

He dodges his opponent and jabs them in the ribcage with his enchanted magick ability. The hit will not only do damage on the outside but it will also aloow him to break apart the atoms and matter of which his opponent is made of.

Now what's described in the example doesn't happen instantly as it would take repeated hits in the same spot (about 3). Even so he would still use this ability to break down his opponents skin, internal organs, or muscles. His fighting style also allows him grace but only works in close combat. He can achieve alot of aerial flips this way, but can get tied easily from fighting this way for a long while.

Magics:

Inferno: Rao casts a fire spell that surrounds his enemy. It is capable of sucking out all of the oxygen in the air through the flames. In a small room, when casts on enemies it will suck out all avaliable oxygen. Once the flames go out, there is no more oxygen in the room and all who are trapped within suffocate to death.

Material Loss: Rao uses this ability in the form of alchemy. He is able to break down materials such as a boat to it's root materials such as slabbs of wood, pait, and metals for example. This is useful when he doesn't have enough material to create something he needs such as a ladder. He would have to break down the materials of something else in order to use it as material. He can only break down the materials of buildings under 2 story and smaller. Anything bigger cannot be achieved...

Material Gain: Basically the opposite of "Material Loss" Rao can create any object he pleases using materials around him. Granted not all materials will be desirable for what he created. A Ladder made of Grass is not sturdy at all! So he would have to be somplace with lots of materials and envision what he needs in his mind. This way he can create almost any contraption he desires.

Puppet Weapon: Although Raos doesn't posses weapons, he can create them using his "Material Gain" ability. Then he would use his abilities to created particles in the air to control the weapons however he pleases. at first glance this would seem like telekenises but it is not. He can swing, and tist the weapons as if he is fighting his enemies. This strategy isn't as desirable as Rao has no ability in fighting with weapons.

Ice Break: Rao's easily most praised ability. Using the water inside of his opponent;s bodies, Rao can extract the moisture and harden it into ice, thus having ice shards burst from his opponents bodies. It is Rao's most deadliest and gruesome ability. Using this Rao can off enemies with ease. This doesn't go without consequences however as it takes a huge toll on Rao's mental state in negative ways. Rao hates living with guilt.

Accepted, Oli. Just so you guys know, I'm starting this the 23rd of August (possibly sooner, depending on if this trip ends sooner) as soon as I get back from my trip. I was waiting on Vikki, but I'm sure she'll catch up just fine. So, ladies and gentlemen, GRAB YOUR DICK AND DOUBLE CLICK, IT STARTS THE 23RD (or possibly sooner, as stated above)! :rage:

Good to know, I was wondering when this was going to start. I've had my first post planned out for like a month now :hmmm:

I never plan a post. Something I should probably start doing... :hmmm:

It doesn't hurt to do it ^_^ I just got really excited about the character, that's why I started working on mine :D

Hopefully I won't be too busy around the time this starts though, I'll have to see :hmmm:

I only plan out intro posts tbh :hmmm: Most of my posts are just spur of the moment. I think it gives a more real-time effect to the readings.

I plan like every post O.O unless I'm having a bad day or are too lazy, which is at random times :/ I'm so excited for the new character I created for this RP :x3:

Typically, I just make things up off the top of my head. Once I start to put too much thought and effort into it, I find that it takes a little bit of the fun out of it.

However, some people will actually go out of their way and do research on things they want to use. While it can be fun, I like to think on my toes and have fun, as someone would in a real battle, not write a 5 page essay on why things do this and that full of planning.

I just find that it's more fun to think off the top of my head. :hmmm:
