Oh woah! Back from a break on the graphics part, and I must say that I feel a lot better now. Most of you have probably seen my older works. I'm gonna include some of the old worksies in this new thread, but from there on it will be just the new graphics. I think I sorted my style, on what I like and don't like to do graphic wise, and I think I improved, as an artist. =)​

I have recently made my new DeviantArt account and I will save my favourite resources and stocks, plus my own graphics there. So if you're curious to see what resources I use, just ask or take a peek at the dA page - here. More than likely most of the stuff I use will be put on there.​

On that note, I do take graphic (avatar and/or signature) requests. Visit my graphic shop if you're interested. =)​

I would consider myself an intermediate graphic artist with a passion for typography and colour.​

Very beautiful works Colours! I still love your Tifa one best. <3 It's just so clean cut and well put together. The effects are subtle but I think that's what makes it look even better.

My favourite is the last one.

I really like the simplicity. All the elements come together nicely and it's very interesting to look at. Nice colours and my favourite part is the text. I think the text on top of the white boxes looks really good.

IMO, maybe you could just expand a little bit more in your GFX in general. Another layer complexity just to see what you can come up with. Your style is nice but I think you can go further with it.

Also, when I have time, I'll hook you up those resources I was talking about on DA.

Really wanted something different, and I think I pulled that off from my usual works. xD

Tankoo, the box idea behind the text came from the 'ass sig' Lewis made, though he said he got the idea from Micci. I really liked that sig best out of the lot too. xD The 'quert' style is growing on me, and this sig was originally supposed to be going that way, but... It kinda took a turn to a different style there. =)
I know what you mean about taking it up a notch. I've been looking at tutorials, and that's why I stated I felt rather uninspiredly insipred. I wanna make some new stuff =( Nothings strikes me.

I love your use of text and the simplicity of your signatures is just gorgeous.

My favourites out of the ones you've posted would be the last two. They're so pretty and so well put together. Such pretty patterns and colours and I love how the text is the focal.

Stella request. I didn't do the text. It was on the original picture. All rights belong to the original drawer. I just made her a siggy and blended in a smaller version, added some effects, blah blah. xD

Also, yes the text is supposed to be that small, 'cause it's just a personal little thing, along seeing I just made to be my own set. xD

I really really like this one~ it's become one of my favorites in your bunch. I love how you split the "ALIVE" text and added words inside it. I found that to be quite creative. Aside from that, I also liked how the bottom lighting was able to match her hair and further complement the surrounding colors.

Edit: One thing I might change though is the overlapping of the bottom lighting on the bottom part of the text "when we were so alive" (if it is indeed overlapping). If it's just grey text on the bottom, I think it would look more dynamic if the whole text inside the "ALIVE" was colored black. (･w･)

One of my favourites from you. The black squiggles remind me of when you put water colouring into a glass of wat... wait I already told you about my silly analogy.
Keep making stuff in this style. Please. Or can you make me one like it?

I really like this as well. The white text compliments the vibrant colours well and I like the depth, which you don't usually see in abstract tags unless it's a tag full of C4D.
And why did you call it "StupidDumb.png"?

I really liked the original and the mirror effect works very well IMO. The white text fits in a bit more than the text you use in the original I think. White goes with just about everything.

Very attractive. The text makes this IMO. I like the colours as well, is it colour set on lighten? I'm a fan of doing that. Also, you stole my big spot of colour idea. I think maybe it could be all closer together, like maybe move the spot closer to the girl but that's just me.

This one's so pretty. I love the lighting used, and, unless I'm mistaken, the scan lines? Very nice effect. The text is nice too, although maybe a little tricky to read. I love the smokey text behind it too.

I really liked the simplicity of this one, and that butterfly is really pretty. The border is really good too, and not your usual type of border.

I like this tag too, the lighting is really excellent, and it's so elegant in it's simplicity. Would I be right in saying it's a black and white image? If so, they're really hard to work with, and you've done a great job. If not, then you've done a good job making it look like an older image xD

This is a perfect example of how great a tag can be by just having the talent of cropping. Simple and yet very attractive, I love this. I love the deep shades of purple and the 2px white border.

The color's a little too strong on the right side of the butterfly, but when I saw this, it drew me right away. You are so good with text, Kira. I see you're very fond of incorporating the rectangle layer behind the text. It's very good. I love how you skipped two letters--it adds a certain accent to it. Shades of purple, red and blue (colors I have never tried get to work for me) look fantastic together. Great job.
