Square Enix have released an anagram on the official North American Final Fantasy XIII website today. The puzzle: A Henchmen Inventor Tent Unto. They didn’t say what we should do with these words, but rearranging the letters seems to be the way to go.

What can they be rearranged to? How about “Announcement Nov Thirteenth”?

You know what that means. Stay tuned for November 13, where some sort of Final Fantasy XIII announcement will be made for North America. Hopefully, it’ll be the release date.

:gasp: Oooh. A release date perhaps? That would be epic. I want it for Feburary.
Anyway, it might be another playable character, though what we have isn't too bad. :hmmm: Another enemy?
 
Each time I click on that link my anti-virus goes totally haywire and won't load the page -__-

I hope it's a release date, but at the same time, I wonder if it is another character? I mean, no one can summon Ifrit yet, right? I think :gasp:
 
Personally, I'd say Brynhilder(?) has everything that Ifrit has. What about Siren? Wasn't she mentioned to be an Eidalion in this game?
 
Oh I hope it is the release date/ Now Im looking forward to november 13th. Also who knows maybe its a new character. I hope its a new playable character and we still dont know who the main villian is! Thanks Ryan!
 
Excellent! I can't wait for this game... I just really need to save up for a ps3! I can't believe that time is flying so quickly. It seems like it should be even longer. Eh... thats just me.
 
An anagram was a rather inventive idea, Square Enix. How long did it take you to come up with that? At least they're not Sega, who would unleash countdown clocks for the smallest things. Hopefully this should be a release date because that's the one important thing right now. No more of these "mays" and "maybes" and "fiscal year" predictions- hopefully we will finally get a solid date.

I'm hoping it will be confirmation of the release date not just in N.A, but for Europe as well. Apparently it'll still probably be Q2 of next year, because of the Xbox release >.>
 
Well, unless that translates into something else as well, it does sounds like something is coming at us on the 13th then.... Tsk tsk. In compliance with Friday the 13th eh? Maybe a new villain?
 
It is the english site, they maybe announcing character we on the forums already know about. It would be a huge let down, if it was.
 
It says we'll find out on Monday, and for me that's in about 45 minutes :gasp:

A release date would be great, but I'm too much of a pessimist to expect that :ness:

Maybe they'll do what they did a while back when there was a count down on the site - another trailer O.O
 
I reckon it'll be something along the lines of a release date. It would seem a bit weird announcing a new character officially, especially when all the other characters have just appeared in scans and such like anyways D:
 
I can't believe how fast the year went. :gonk:

I had hoped to buy a PS3 for Christmas just in time for the release of this game sometime next year, but I don't want to dig into my savings right now. :gonk:

I'm kinda hoping the release date will be a bit later just because of that. /selfish

Rofl, trust me, I'm kind of the same way. I just spent 100.00 on these two other games - I need at least 400.00 for FFXIII plus the PS3 console to actually play it on, and I'm not ready to spend that kind of money :P
 
And the answer to the anagram according to the FFXIII website is....

"ANNOUNCEMENT NOV THIRTEENTH"

I have a sinking feeling it is... If you look on the english site, under Characters, They only have Lightning, Snow, Vanille, and Sazh.... I REALLY hope that it isn't like announcing that Oerba yun Fang is a new character... or Hope Estheim... That would piss me off >_<
 
There's a new trailer on PSN Home today so I would cry if it was just the TGS one which basically annouces Oerba Yun Fang. I reckon a release date and demo :ryan:
