MV told me and Klonoa that he can change his username like the vets and staff can.
according to that he should still have the day wait applied to him.

As far as I remember, the username change hack is a particularly tricky one - some people are strictly confined to the 30 days rule, while it's more lenient for some people. Although last I knew the only people who could change their username everyday were Admins and Junior Admins...

Before I changed into a Vet I could only change it once every 30 days. So if it is going to do that maybe it would be best to remove it for now, so it is fair to everyone.

Moonie did bring up that because of the teams he could, and I assume everyone else, could change their username at will.
I, uh certainly have no problem doing so
Though me mentioning the team thing could backfire as that might stop, and we wouldn't want that

It's no big deal really, it's not like Master Vivi has been changing his name everyday and all of his previous names are similar, so it isn't very confusing to figure out who he is. It shouldn't really matter how often he can change it, it's just a user name after all.

I wouldn't see it as unfair that MV can use this option (even though he's just joined), just unwise if everyone was able to do it. 
I agree it should be looked into just for the reason Kuhn stated:
It gets confusing trying to once again remember who the heck everyone is when posting. Mods seem to do it all the time and it is really annoying because you have to go into their profile to find their old username to figure out who they are.
I think there should be more limits to username changes as everyone seems to get a little crazy with it and from what I've seen, abuse it and not really think carefully about what they want their next username to be and give a valid reason for changing it.
Therefore they're always requesting to have a new one because they've decided that Elmo is their favourite character this month. =D

I am sure that Bei had no intention of setting it up that way when she set up the teams, and there is a good reason why we have the 30 day username limit, so that has now been fixed. I know that most of our members don't abuse the username change anyway, but we really don't want other members to question why others can change their usernames at will while they can't...and have the cycle repeat over and over again. So better to fix it now.
