It's looking like it might be just as good as the first two. I'm not sure if Chow Yun-Fat is going to make a good character though. He seems more suited to martial arts movies to me (no racism intended) which doesn't seem to fit in with the sytle of the movie =\. Of course, he played a very good character in The Last Samurai, so we'll have to see.
I know that, but like I said, I think he seems more suited to martial arts, which doesn't really fit in with the theme of the film. Of course, that is still to be proved though. Chances are I'll love his character when I see it xD.

woooooo chow-yun-fat is in it and his playing an evil part i think his going to be so cool in it!! it's going to be so cool Jack cracks me up coz his always drunk and his allways moving his fingers and hands it looks so funny!!!
It doesn't look like Chow Yun-Fat's character will be an evil one. In the film,
the 4 pirate lords of the world all join together to fight against Davey Jones, Yun-Fat being one of them.
Course Im going to see it! 2 day pirate party afterwards also where we dress up as pirates! Im soooooo looking forward to it, but I hope Captain Jack gets his own spin off or something as it wont be right when its over.

I seen it Friday afternoon and personally its my fav out of the triliogy. I cant understand why newspapers have been slating it and giving it poor marks, it was super! We had to have an intermission at our cinema as its over 3 hours long, worth the money! And I agree you do need to pay attention with it, you can get easily confused with the whole pirate politics.
The action and effects are amazing and the cast are excellent as always, Keith Richards plays his part well, even though he isnt present for long. Barbossa had to be one of the best characters in this film and Jack is well ... Jack, loveable and funny as usual!
Seriously, get down to your local cinema and get a pirate full ^^

Watched it tonight. Favour Dead Man's Chest, but this was a pretty decent film on the whole. I expected more of Barbossa, however, yet I found his general performance to be exceptional.
I think it's safe to assume everyone knows what happens to Davy Jones, but I couldn't hep but feel sorry for the guy. Nice to see his story wrapped up like everyone else's. Except for "Calipso." What the fuck was that all about...

I saw it. I liked it. And I won't ruin it. 
I just saw it last night. Indeed, throwing in the whole Calypso thing kinda threw it off a little for me, but it was pretty good. Gotta love it when they toss in the old jokes from the previous two movies. In a theater, it makes it obvious who has seen the previous movie(s) and who hasn't.
It was great. Best of the three so far. All the actors played their part exceptionally well; particularly Geoffrey Rush as Captain Barbossa. At times it was slightly confusing where the story was going, partiularly when it chnaged from ship-to-ship and people were constantly betraying each other, but it all came together eventually. The only problem I had with it was that I thought that they tried to put too many jokes in it. It started to borderline an action-comedy.

I felt so sorry for him also, and was Calipso wearing that locket in the last movie? I dont remember her wearing it. But yeah Calipso thing kinda threw me off. But Davy Jones, aw bless him
Damn, spoilers all about! I'll just consider watching it to see more of that Jack Sparrow walk. The way he just winces about all the time is hilarious.

Yeah, the Calypso part... yeah, that was weird. But as a whole, I thought that Pirates 3 was a pretty good movie. Mind you, I have yet to see Dead Man's Chest. The whole series, however, I think you can't beat The Curse of the Black Pearl (1).
