So how many of you out there remember your first days here at FFF? Were you a spammy n00b who soon learned the error of your ways? Which forums did you post more often in? So what do you remember?

I started out in the FFIX and X forums, as I felt the need to be elitist and correct everyone. Because of which, I didn't get much positive attention. ;p

I can safely say I was never a n00b; I was always trying to type all my posts up properly unless otherwise intentionally. The first person/people to speak to me was... hrm, probably Sephire and Mr. 47.

Then I was inactive for a couple of months and returned due to immense faggotry from other members on another forum, and somehow got talking to DB over AIM. The rest is a blur, and then I was made Gmod. :monster:

Oh... I posted mostly on the topics of games I disliked, giving my reasons as to why I disliked them. I still do, sometimes. :3

The las FF forum I was on went to hell, and I google searched this place, was it was pretty active and decided to join :D made maybe 20 post the first day, in most of the forums, in the next week I saw that people were pretty nice and fun here so I decided to stay and have fun :D.

Oh... And I was never really a noob either. I've always tried to explain myself thoroughly, which often ends with me making multi-paragraph posts. And those multi-paragraph posts confuse people. So...

...I'm like a technician. I do and say complicated stuff people don't understand and try to put it in a way people can understand. However, people still don't understand and assume they know what I mean, so they make mistakes. And being a technician, I formally correct said mistakes...

...I thank Dilbert for providing inspiration for this post. xD

I just randomly found FFF and decided to join. It was my first forum and it was about FF so I thought I might as well. I was actually a pretty good poster, I was never really a n00b I usually did stuff the right way. I probably got about 35 posts in the first day. I had about 20 posts a day up until I left for a few months because of school.

The rest is a blur, and then I was made Gmod.

I misread that as "and then I was made God." I've had a long night. :monster:

I actually signed up and then completely forgot about the board for about a month. When I came back, I posted in the FFXII section a lot because I had just completed the game.

I always tried to make my posts relevant and never spammed up the post count sections.

I remember my first friend was Warbourne though that shouldn't surprise anyone. xD

I was very slow at posting when I first came here. I actually knew a few members here because I belong to some other FF forums. I think I went straight to this area of the forum for a while until I got more comfortable.

Not much has changed for me. I posted my introduction, and I pretty much live in the Main Series forums when I am online here. I am an oldschool gamer and like to offer my perspective while being respectful of others. I know I am not the only one that remembers playing the first Dragon Warrior! Anyway, I'm still pretty much a wall flower, I don't think anyone really knows I am here most of the time.

The Meeting Room seems more like the ideal place for this, so I'll move it there.

Anyway, like Nephry, I signed up, forgot about it for about a month, then finally made my first post. I was more active in XII, VII, and VIII at the time.

Actually, I wasn't planning on staying for long. I just wanted to reach my 50 posts (which seemed like forever to me!) to check out the RPG Inferno. Sure enough, I found it enjoyable and played for about two weeks, completely forgetting about the rest of the forum. (Oh and no, I didn't spam my way in the Inferno). I wasn't a noob, but I was a newbie to the world of forums in general.

Heh, I took one look at this place and how huge it was, and felt like I was preparing to climb Mt. Everest.

Fields invited me to this site last January so I signed up, started posting in the FF sections, and that's that. I got about 26 or so posts my first day, and the only person I knew here like I said was Fields, so I felt sort of out of place.

The first person I actually made friends with on here I think was Judge Rulia (aka Lisa Liberality?). She offered me a Section Mod spot about a week after I had been here and she did a great deal in showing me the ropes around the place and how to handle myself. Probably the two people I owe the most thanks to are her and Lady Aerith for having patience with me and showing me that even though it's a huge site, and being staff here can be tiring, it's rewarding.

I own the 1st four Dragon Warriors for the ol' 8-bit and they are still one of my favorites of all time.

I think I joined up on June 29, 2007. Twasn't too long ago. I came here from TFF because someone sent me a PM saying I should join up with these new forums. I checked it out, saw that there was an RPG, and decided to join. I immediately went straight to the RPG and it said I needed 50 posts. I was devastated. So I posted an intro thread, which recieved ONLY 1 reply. And that was from Warbourne only because we had similar first names. This was my second forum. I had only been active in forums for exactly 1 month when I joined here so I was still pretty much a n00b. I hung around mostly in the Midgar section in the Mako Reactor. I didn't really post much in the Final Fantasy sections, and I still don't, even though I own every FF except for 11. Finally reached my 50 posts and I immediately went straight to the RPG, where I now spend most of time here.

I really like these forums and the people here. I consider this place like my third family (TFF is my second) where all my relatives are disfunctional, but I love'm anyways. I plan on staying active for as long as I can and hope to make more friends in the future.

My first day...can't really remember it...but I used to post in the FF section alot.

I posted only in the FFX section. I tried to keep my posts as well written as possible and I can honestly say that I was never a n00b. I knew absolutely no one when I joined and some incredibly ignorant members made sure that I didn't really fit in until a few months ago.
