People love Danyl? Sorry dearie, but you might be wrong there. xD Check out Digital Spy, the forums there are out for his blood :wacky:

I think Danyl or Olly are gone next week, hopefully Danyl, since a Olly vs Stacey vs Joe final would be the most enjoyable.

I hope Stacey wins though, since Joe's so bland, and I don't want Cheryl to win 2 years in a row, she'll be so smug. She and Simon have really gone down in my estimation this year. I love how Dannii always gives constructive criticism, and she doesn't pretend everyone's note-perfect, and Louis just makes me giggle.

So glad Lloyd is gone though, he was definitely the weakest of the five.

Alicia Keys was right about all of them being different and having their own sound. I'm gutted for Lloyd because I wanted Danyl to preferably go. However, he WILL go next week! If he thinks he's heading for the final, he's got another thing coming. Stacey to win all the way now!

To be honest hun, I do hope Im wrong lol :D I really do dislike him. Stacey seems to be the center of the media at the mo. Danyl bullies her or Olly is confessing his love for her! God hate bad tabloids.

I feel sorry for Stacey this week though, especially since Simon compared her to Leona! Hello, she's not even won the show yet. Even though she may never be as good as Leona, Stacey's practically in a league of her own. Leona is brilliant and does ballads mainly, but Stacey has shown she can do a bit of everything. Variety is what I like! She's a bit like Alexandra, although she speaks dead funny. xD

That's why I think Stacey will win over Joe, there's more media interest in her. Although, I did see an article today trying to convince us Joe was straight and fancied Rachel. Right.

Danyl's bullied a lot of people there, apparently D= he's so fake it's ridiculous.

Looking forward to Lady GaGa and Janet Jackson next week though! I hope Lady GaGa is fabulously ridiculous.

Im dreading to think what outfit Gaga is going to wear or even how she will perform. Im not her biggest fan, so I may wash my hair that night lol :D Oh yeah I always forget bout Joe, he just doesnt stand out to me.

I thought Olly was the best this week, His second song was Immense like danni said he smashed it, Joe was overrated again did he really deserve a standing ovation for sorry seems to be the hardest word? Thank god Lloyd went how the hell he made the final 5 i will never know. Hopefully Joe goes next week don't really see the big fuss about him at all, Stacey Olly Danyl Final would be much better with Olly winning

Im dreading to think what outfit Gaga is going to wear or even how she will perform.
Nothing too saucy, I hope. It's a family show after all, so she might have to consider that. Janet Jackson's also performing her new single. Haven't heard it yet, but some people have said it's good. No doubt both will sing live like Rihanna and Alicia Keys did. We need guest performers to do that because I hate mimers like Mariah Carey.

'X Factor' semi-final 'has Jackson theme'

This Saturday's X Factor semi-final with have a Michael Jackson theme, say reports.

According to The Sun, the final four acts - Stacey Solomon, Joe McElderry, Olly Murs and Danyl Johnson - will all perform a track from the late singer's back catalogue. They will also sing a song of their own personal choice.

Jackson's sister Janet is performing on the Sunday's results show and is expected to giver her own verdict on the final four acts' performances.

"The Michael Jackson numbers will be huge crowd pleasers - and each contestant will want to do Janet and the Jackson family proud," said a source.

The X Factor semi-final airs on Saturday at 8pm on ITV.

On that theme alone, I don't think it's possible to judge who's going to go through until they've actually sung the song because it's going to make or break them. If they pick a well known song, say 'Billie Jean' or 'Thriller' etc then they're going to have to nail it. MJ was a perfectionist so that's going to have to be the case for the remaining 4 acts. On the other hand, if they pick a less well known song then they're more likely to do a better performance, but risk a place in the final.

As much as like the acts making the song their own, I hope they take things back to the basics and do a good cover version. I don't think it's possible to take an MJ song and make it better >.>

There's loads of new articles for X Factor here pretty much everyday. Apparently, the winner's song is going to be a cover of Miley Cyrus' song, The Climb. Stacey and Joe have reportedly been doing brilliantly at recording it, whilst Olly and Danyl have been struggling immensely.

The Climb? A rather interesting choice of a final song. Though I'm not a huge fan of Miley Cyrus, that song is rather fun to listen to. I can imagine Danyl's agony there. I've really started to dislike him.

Lady GaGa's requests for her X-Factor performance was rather odd as you can all imagine. She wanted some lambs to wander the stage and hundreds of butterflies during her performance of Bad Romance. You could imagine Simon Cowell's horror there. Thankfully he vetoed it.

To be honest, I really don't see what's so special about Stacey. She can't hold low notes very well, and high notes either. We've got enough artists like her in the industry anyway. Olly doesn't have a strong voice, and he's only getting though all the 'fangirls' are voting for him and he has style. I'd rather much Danyl or Joe to win it, though I think the former won't have much chance. He does falter at times in every song he does, whereas Joe doesn't.

Either way, none of this years batch compare to previous singers and winners such as Leona, Alexandra, Rhydian, Shayne and Steve.

Pfft, Danyl hasn't got a chance. He's slowly lost his support with the public and I personally think he'll go this week. What's special about Stacey is that she's one of those people that speaks strange and yet has a brilliant voice. You might not see why she is so special, but I do. And she doesn't just do ballads, she can do a bit of everything. She reminds me a lot of Alexandra, just a bit more talkative. xD

Anyone watched it tonight?

Danyl's definitely going. I hated his rendition of Man In The Mirror and whatever other song he performed tonight. Olly kinda slipped in his second song, I'm not totally convinced by him now. Joe surprised me tonight with his first song and same with the second.

I was annoyed that everyone literally criticised Stacey for her choice of Michael Jackson song when they said she should move around the stage more. However, she definitely redeemed herself with Somewhere.

Sorry to say, but it's either Danyl or Olly to go tomorrow ...

Though I don't really care anymore I'd prefer Joe to win since he's from the North East. I just hope Cheryl doesn't sit there going "Geordie Joe", he's not a Geordie, fuck off Cheryl and stop trying to boost your own ego. The main problem I see is that should Joe win he needs to find a new manager, Cheryl will only hinder his first album if she has much of a say considering she can't sing herself :ffs:

Stacey doesn't stand a chance imo, like I've said before she's a poor mans Leona Lewis who has absolutely no stage presence whatsoever. Olly's probably a bit better, he has a good stage presence but isn't exactly a brilliant singer either. Neither of them are in Joe's league in terms of voice quality.

I'll probably end up giving it a miss anyway since I can see it being boring, other than Bublé even the guest singers are shit.

Simon needs a slap. The Climb? Miley Cyrus? DO NOT WANT.

And now there's a bit of a twist on the way, ladies and gentleman. :gasp:

'X Factor' stars 'shocked by final twist'

One of the three remaining X Factor contestants will reportedly be voted off the show on Saturday night.

According to The Sun, Joe McElderry, Olly Murs and Stacey Solomon have been told that only two of them will make it to Sunday's final episode.

The singers are expected to perform celebrity duets and Christmas songs in Saturday's instalment before the person with the fewest public votes is eliminated. The two surviving acts will apparently then continue to battle it out the following night.

A source said: "This shocked the finalists."

McElderry is currently the bookies' favourite to win the series after impressing the judges with his performances in recent weeks.

Honestly, I think it works out better that way. What do you all think?

I hoped it would be like that, even half expecting it. It would make sense to vote one off on the Saturday then have the final two battling it out on the Sunday it would make such a better final.

Exactly what I was thinking, Ryan.

It makes the thing more exciting to have one of them booted off and then the votes are divided more equally to the two that get through. And even if the quality is shite on ITV Player, I'm definitely watching this live on Sunday when I get back to uni. 8F
