The final three will be Stacey, Joe and Olly. Hopefully in that order. I reckon Lloyd or the twins will finally go tomorrow, although I think the only two who are definitely safe are Stacey and Joe, the rest are too marmite.

Am I the only one really impressed with Lloyd tonight? His dramatic transformation from schoolboy to young man has astounded me, as did his performance tonight. Surprised he did a high note at the end, but glad he did. I could not stand Jedward or Danyl tonight. Wasn't Careless Whisper slower than that? Agree with Louis that he tried too hard. Jedward are just ... ugh, disgusting. Stacey was as brilliant as she always is and Joe's really coming into his own. I was even impressed with Olly tonight! :gasp:

Bottom two will be Danyl and Jedward, or at least I'm hoping so.
 
I like how Olly's in the bottom two and he's a decent singer, yet Lloyd can't carry a tune in a bucket and managed to get through. I hope they don't take it deadlock because I can really see Jedward getting through, and they need to go >.>
 
Like how Louis has just turned round and told people to shut up. Fuck off Louis. If Olly goes, Im killing these little bastards, they dont deserve to be here. Jamie should still be in the competition. If Louis claims the twats twins were put off due to booing and all that bollocks, he needs to sort his head out. GET RID YOU LITTLE SHITS!!! I like Lloyd and Louis' comments about him were downright nasty. I came to appreciate Olly for his manlyness and voice after I've them in the final showdown :) So I think it's fair that Jedward goes...
 
I don't believe it! The twins have been shown the door! Finally, my days of screaming at Jedward's invulnerability have ended! :highfive: Finally our views have been listened to- and thank you very much Dannii for NOT taking it to deadlock like a certain judge did another time.

As for Louis Walsh- serves him right that he has no acts left. To have stuck up so adamantly for Jedward really devalues him as a judge on the show. How dare he yell at the audience because they didn't agree with him?
 
Dannii's comment was stupid "Is it a singing competition" how the hell has she been voting for the last 7/8 weeks? That's the sort of shit Cheryl normally comes out with =/

Glad Olly stayed though, he's entertaining. Glad Danyl stayed in as well, he's easily one of the best singers still in it, he's only looked down upon because of the bad press he gets (n)

I know it wont be the last time we've seen the little shits. They will be back on our screens, in our papers and worm their ways onto our PC screens ... damn.

They will, guaranteed. It was reported that Jedward could end up making £2 million a year anyway. So that pretty much covers what they'll get for going on TV and they'll probably get signed anyway because they're "different".

Dannii's vote seemed to hinge on that question, she voted Olly because he has a far, far, far x1000000 superior voice to Jedward. Yet, if someone said no I reckon she'd have voted Olly out =/
 
They're tipped off to be the new Ant & Dec or the Cheeky Girls (God forbid, seriously!). If so, I can imagine Jedward either gaining their own TV appearances, TV shows, appear on Nintendo adverts, or just enter the already-saturated-to-hell-with-crappy-singers music industry.

I don't hate the twins- in fact I was genuinely shocked and upset when I read how much death threats the twins received on Facebook, with some users asking for some bullets for his/her gun to shoot them in the head. The death threats are just too far. I certainly wouldn't hate anyone I have never met before enough to want to do away with them.
 
I was giggling so much when Dannii was asking "Is it a singing contest?" Simon looked scared, I think she did it as revenge for him voting out Lucie for the twins.

That said, I'm so glad the twins got voted out, now it's finally a singing contest again. That being said, it's got to be between Stacy and Joe now, no winning act has ever been in the bottom 2, and I can't see it changing this year.
 
I wholeheartedly agree with you, Mark. I bet Stacey will emerge the winner and Joe will be the runner up. At this rate, Olly will be third as well. I was really shocked he was even in the bottom two to begin with! I'm hoping it'll be Danyl and Lloyd there next week. Have you heard about Danyl's diva act this week? In the papers, the other three judges would've gotten rid of him in a heartbeat if he were in the bottom two tonight.
 
Lloyd or Danyl are going next week, I'm almost certain of it. Lloyd got the rebound vote this week, but I don't know if it can carry over to next week - Louis is right, his voice isn't good enough.
 
Take That/Elton John theme for 'X Factor'

The X Factor final five will sing tracks by Take That and Elton John on Saturday, it has been confirmed.

Dannii Minogue revealed the news in a Twitter post, after a fan asked whether her act Stacey Solomon would be performing a Barbra Streisand number.

"I love Streisand and [Stacey] can certainly sing those kind of huge songs, but I have to follow the theme! Elton/Take That this week!" she said.

All five remaining contestants - Lloyd Daniels, Joe McElderry, Stacey Solomon, Danyl Johnson and Olly Murs - will perform one track by John and one track by Take That. No song choices have yet been revealed.

Highlights from last year's Take That week included Alexandra Burke performing 'Relight My Fire', JLS singing 'A Million Love Songs', Eoghan Quigg's 'Never Forget' and Ruth Lorenzo's rendition of 'Love Ain't Here Anymore'.

Alicia Keys and Rihanna have previously been confirmed as the special guests for the Sunday results episode. Rihanna is rumoured to be acting as a guest mentor as well as singing her new single 'Russian Roulette'.

The X Factor continues next Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.

So what did everyone think of tonight's show?

As always, I think Stacey and Joe are safe. Simon's comment of Stacey being a wedding singer were bang out of order! Hated Danyl as usual, thought Lloyd was ok and Olly may have been a bit shaky with one of his songs.

It'll definitely be Danyl and Lloyd in the bottom two tomorrow. :hmmm:
 
Ami, there is no bottom two tomorrow, it's all down to public vote.

I think Danyl or Lloyd are gone tomorrow...possibly Olly too, but he really stepped up a gear tonight. I think Stacey and Joe are the only ones definitely safe though.

Meh, I've become less interested since Jedward left, as much as I hated them they were different, everyone now just seems to sound the same week in week out.

As much as I like Danyl's personallity something happened half way through that killed him >.> I'd prefer Olly to win now since I've come to the conclusion he's the only one who'll actually get anywhere. Apart from Lloyd who's shit, they're all good singers. Stacey just seems a weak Leona Lewis, Joe has the next Leon Jackson written all over him and I think Danyl being in the bottom two killed him. Olly's the only one left who's any fun and will probably get anywhere >.>

I hope Cheryl is dropped from the next series, she doesn't have a clue :ffs:
 
Woop, go Olly :D I think he may go next week sadly. Stacey isnt going to budge and people love Danyl, bar me. Im an Olly fangirl, loved him since I seen him on his audition. Im backing him 101%.
