Post-coordination. Someone always always always have to mess up, it's kinda frustrating to see. That and when I posted this year's guidelines for it, I made a few boo-boo but luckily the participants were able to catch them. 
My fault there, so I'm voting this as the worst challenge ever.

I pretty much had nightmares about gnomes for weeks after the gnome challenge. 
My vote goes for that.

Seriously that was a challenge I spent about 3-4 hours searching the boards for gnomes, only to find there were none in the sections I decided to search through.
