Which of the trials in FFX did you like the most? It could be because of the difficulty, creativity, design, etc.

Please post your opinions too!

For me, I think I like the Macalania temple trials the most. First thing first, it's ice, and most things with ice/snow are better looking =)
I think the pushing of pillars on slippery ice is a great idea too. There's some sort of strategy involved.

I agree with you there Cid. The temple itself was very elegant, and it would look like it's a great place for a battle lol.

The one that I absolutely hated was the Bevelle trials. I got lost, and I've been in the same area for....like 1 hour.

I actually enjoyed all of them, but I used a guide to get everything inside so I wasn't lost. I feel no shame though, I do that with a lot of games I intended to play just once :P

I agree Cid! The design of Macalania's temple was gorgeous! :) I seem to remember the electric temple at Djose being interesting aesthetically too. :hmmm:

The floor puzzles in Zanarkand were also fun for a time - I love that sort of thing - and they were a nice change from the previous trial format, but the last couple were a little long. -_- I kinda wish they had created a variety of puzzles, one unique to each trial. :hmm: I adore the clock puzzles in FFXIII-2 to the point that I looked for a couple online and did them by hand. :wacky: Those would have been perfect!

I hated Bevelle. :hmph: The moving floors were just fickle. I used the guide and still took ages to get through it. -_-

I really liked the Macalania one because it was so difficult the first time I did it which made it really fulfilling when I finally got it done. It's the one I always forget how to do as well.

I used to hate the Bevelle one, but since noticing all the holes in the wall I quite like it just for that.

Xx..xX
