What Is Your BlitzBall Team?

Tidus lvl 67 or so Low because he is easy to lvl anyway (Left Front)
Larbeight lvl 83 (Right Front)
Vuroja lvl 99 (Center)
Irga Ronso lvl 99 (Left Back)
Ropp Lvl 72 (Right Back)
Nimrook lvl 59 or 60 Training him Atm (Best Keeper Ever!)

I haven't play Bltizball since I last did a full run of FFX. This was like 3+ years ago. But I had a 110+ hour save file :) A Large chunk of it was Blitzball too.

I can't remember much, but I can remember than goalie Nimrook :) I did use to love him lol, he started of so rubbish then once his levels starts to raise, he's like a goalie with auto Level 1 Death :updown:
 
I think theres already been three of these threads but a post is a post.

I stuck to the standard Besaid Auroachs as they were fairly good players when you start getting the levels up. My team was around level 64 last time I checked and I hadn't lost a match in over 90 games.

Haha nice im at like 270 hours or so XD

And yeah Nimrook owns he was the best goalie from the start. The annoying part is to wait until they release the players you want...
 
Some Guado guy is my Goalie.
Tidus, Brother, and Wakka on the offense for the scoring.
And then the chick who wears no clothes that works in the Calm lands in my defense along with some guy whose name starts with an "L".
 
I have Linna, Naida, Tidus, Datto, Jassu and Miyu (as goalkeeper). I'm sure they're not all the best players available, but it seems OK. I've only played 18 games, and of that I lost once to the Al Bhed Psyches. I was pleased enough to win the original, story-line match against the Luca Goers!
 
Tidus is an obvious, because he has the most overpowered skill in the game that was insanely good, Jecht Shot 2, knocking out 3 players + the ability to control where you shoot...are you kidding me?

I actually chose the Guado characters because #1, many of them where very fast naturally, and also, they have arguably the best passing abilities in the game. If you get to lvl 99 in Blitzball, the passing game becomes absolutely ridiculous, because stamina means nothing if your opponents can't even touch the ball you throw. I saw this after I played with a more mixed team the first time around, however the second time around, it's been most super fast speed characters+ high passing Guado characters and it's pretty much GGPO.
 
Nimrook, Kyou, Naida, Svanda, Eigaar, Tidus, with Jassu and Letty on the bench.

Those two on the bench are quite high level, so I don't want to have to play against them if I were to let them go, Chelsea style :p
 
Erm let me think, up front i had Tidus, and Brother or Wakka, in the middle i had Zev Ronso and at the back i had Jassu (why i don't know there was better) and a Guado, i cant remember his name, and i had somebody in goal obviously i just cant remember who >< he was good tho he hardly let any goals past.

Can't remember my reserves either i barely used them, they were probs good tho.

I think my team was about lv 80+ once i finished.
 
I just use the original Besaid Aurochs. I like keeping things original. It would be more of a challenge having players with low stats, but I've never recruited anyone else to compare. It is also very satisfying to score a goal with Datto rather than Tidus.

As for my levels, I haven't really bothered with them. I only played Blitzball to get what I needed; Wakka's World Champion. I reset the team data aswell to reset the prize. But my final levels are around 6-10.

Ikas, you will to play and win at Blitzball at least 30-40 matches - that is for ya going for a 100% game.

Its the only way to win all of Wakka's limits and fully charge up his Celestial Weapon too.
 
Mine was:

Tidus (Can shoot up to 40 SH, and he still has plenty of levels to gain)
Wakka (Another shooter, not as good as Tidus, but still good)
Berrik (My best player by far, hes the best player ever)
Lakkam (One of my defenders, very good as well)
Judda (Another of my defender, very good as well)
Nimrook (An expert Goalkeeper, 20CA)

I'm in the Thunder Plains so not a whole lot of talent available atm

LF: Zazi Guado
RF: Datto
MF:Tidus
LD: Wedge/Jassu
RD:Ropp/Jassu
Gk: Miyu/Keepa

It's impossible for me to lose, Datto and Zazi have enough pace to get past any defenders, especially Datto.
Tidus can score right from the start.
I alternate the defenders depending on who I want to get experience, though I often put Keepa in there somewhere so that he ends up with about 30 exp rather than 2.

I like Blitzball a lot - I've never bothered to max out my characters but here's my current team, who're as yet undefeatable.

LF - Tidus (Jecht/Sphere Shot, Tackle Slip + Wither Tackle = invincible xD)
RF - Biggs/Datto, though neither are ever used.
MF - Ropp (from the Mi'ihen Highroad Agency - he's actually a taaaaaank and much better than most Ronsos at the strength stats)
LD - Miyu (her attack, endurance, speed and block are amazing - I'd make her a keeper but there's no need when she blocks everything that comes towards the goal xD)
RD - Jassu - he gets quite strong. o_O
GK - Keepa.
 
In the front, I had Tidus and Wakka.

In the middle, I had Letty.

In the back, I had Jassu and Zev Ronso.

At keeper, I had Keepa.
 
My team was:

LF: Tidus (Sphere shot & Jecht shot)
RF: Wedge (Fast, strong and has a good shot value)
MF: Jassu (I found him to be very useful in that position)
RD: Kyou (Rock solid defender)
LD: Zev Ronso (I'm not sure why, but he just seemed to work for me)
GF: Jumal (Other than the Al Bhed goalie, i found him to be the best in the game)
