I don't what would be worse, getting all of that material in the first place, or creating a goofy, crazy octopus costume from it when I get home.

Operation Paint Bedsheets wouldn't work out well, I think. I can't imagine paint working well. Dye, perhaps. The issue then would be finding bedsheets that aren't just going to go see-through, insane, or make me look like a purple ghost.
