What Did You Name Garnet?

In the game, after fighting Black Waltz No. 1, Garnet feels the need to change her name.

I actually named my Garnet, Ruby.

Immediately after pressing confirm, I thought, "Why the heck did I do that??"

I wasn't able to change it to something more sane til I got to Daguerreo and showed the guy the Namingway card.


So did you keep Dagger as her name? Or did you change it?
 
I hated the name dagger, it was stupid. It is probably the pnly time I ever change someones name in an FF game. That is how much I hate Dagger :gasp:

But, because I'm so original, I just kept her as Garnet :wacky: I realy should think about calling her something else on my next play through :wacky:
 
I just named her Dagger, even though it's a stupid name I think o_O I wonder why she would choose such a name, there are plenty of names. :mad2:
 
I always keep her name as Dagger. It makes one of the final lines in the game make so much more sense.

(Zidane during the play: Bring me my precious Dagger!)

Or something like that.
 
You'll find weird but I named her Alexis from Alexandria.My sister liked that name but next time I'll go for Garnet.It's funny how she's trying to hide herself and you call her Garnet but no one gets it she's the princess.
 
1st Time Through: Dagger
Second Time Through: Dildo. (It makes on of the final lines sound so funny!)

Zidane: Bring me my precious Dildo!
 
I called her Garnet. She was too beautiful to be called anything like Dagger, even if it was just an undercover name. Plus.... I was young at the time!

Now, I dunno what I'd call her, I usually stick to the original names, so probably Dagger. I jsut didnt liek that first time through.
 
I called her Penelo....dunno why....maybe because it has a certain sound to it.....anyway....I also found out that it suits her pretty well.;)
 
When I played it the first time i was young and me and my relatives had this thing about naming characters after us so they called Dagger Loui :D after me

I decided to be cool and name Garnet "Fang" after the wolf like thing i fought in the Evil Forest, later on i decided " :holyshit: what did i just do", so i went to that dude who lets change ppls names, and changed it to Dagger.

My friend decided to be rebellious and keep her name as Garnet.

The first time I played it was when I was playing FFVII at the same time, so I, thinking Dagger to be a stupid name, named her Aerith instead >_>

I've called her Dagger in every other playthrough though xD
 
I called her the default names the first time. But i called her Sarah the second time.
