What could she have been thinking?

Aerith could've been thinking about anything, but personally I have to agree with Rhea too. It certainly didn't show that Aerith had feelings for Cloud yet, because when they were in the slums, her thoughts were mostly on Zack and the similarity of both guys. And of course, her death. I don't think she actually know for a fact that she'd die...maybe just a feeling? And that, in my opinion, is worst. So she was edgy the whole time. Hence, the whole kicking thing.
 
she saw Cloud Eyes and know that he was from the soldiers maybe she remembered Zack and she was thinking of him

I don't agree. Like I said, It was way too early in the game for her to know such a thing. Certain situations had to be set up for her to be able to see that she could very well die. (Like Sephiroth getting his hands on the Black Materia). And people kick their legs out of boredom as well. Or, if she was edgy, she could be doing that because she, may be worried about Zack, or something else.
 
I'm going to go with her wondering why this strange man is so much like her ex-boyfriend. Even if they weren't serious, Aeris said she did like Zack and obviously remembers details about him, so she could easily see that he and Cloud would have had a lot in common. I think I'd be a little creeped out if that happened to me. It's definitely something I'd think about later that night.
 
Hate to bring things back to basics but I think she just had that giddy feeling you get when you really fall for someone, in this case Cloud.

Thats the way I read it.

Not everything has to have a complex explination!

I do think that Aerith knew she might die. I don't think she could have known so early on. Given all the facts, hints, and information that she learned about Jenova's existance, she had to have known what she was up against.
Of course...she didn't take initiative until she had this knowledge, which was later on in disc 1.
 
she was wondering what the children would look like if pixels and sprites got together.
 
I always thought she may be thumbling with flowers, seeing as she's a flower girl and her room is filled with them.

But if it was reality, she'd blatenly be fingering herself.

No I haven't but I've watched it on YouTube. Being a Clerith fan, I didn't find it all that hilarious. =/

im surprised that noone relized it did ever one here see advent children if not i dont mean to be a spoiler but food for thought did any one notice that zack and aerith were together ather cloud drifted off when he beat sephie??

Right off the top of my head, I believe that she's thinking about the similarities between this 'new' person she met and her dear old boyfriend, which is sure to stir up a few odd questions. Something's not right with this wierdo and she knows it. (High wisdom will do that)

or she could very well be thinking about what tricksy thing this new guy is gonna pull. Which would explain why she was waiting for him later on.

or......she could be thinking just why the hell he thought she was the slum drunk. :D

Yes, we know that Aerith walked off with Zack, but hey. What can she do? I'm sure Zack likes to keep her company, since he is just a friend to her. But if you go by the game, Aerith said that Zack and her were not serious. Also, if you do the date scene with Aerith in the game, she wants to actually "know" Cloud so to speak. As previous posts above, in the japanese version. She want's to be Cloud's girlfriend.

Are you kidding?! She smacks him upside the head and he plays it!!! The one time he actually acts it out, and he does it well! All of the girls do that though if you piss them off on purpose. I found it very funny.

As for the topic discussion, I think Aeris is just kind of pondering the events that have happened recently and trying to put one and one together and figure out if Cloud is there coincidently or there is really a purpose for them meeting up.

I know about the report button; i've only used it when things get really hostile and it's kinda automatic now. No harm no foul.
