It is really difficult not knowing what to do especially when you don't of any activity you are good at, does anyne have these kind of feeling if so, what can I do about them? I don't what am I going to do? I really don't where to find that career, job or anything that I really enjoy doing that I build my life from it but I also I have this 'restlessness' that I should go out and do something instead of staying home most of the time. ow do you deal with these feelings where you don't were you are going or what are you going to do for the rest of your life?

When I first left high school I had no idea what I wanted to do. 4 years later I still have no idea! XD

You really just need to get out there and find something you're mildly interested in.

That way you can at least start crossing off the things you know you don't like about a certain job.

I worked in retail for 3 years and I decided I really hated it and so I applied for a job as a Data Controller at a Pharmacy.

I never thought I would like doing what I'm doing now, but it turns out that I really love it and the job opportunities that are offered through the pharmacy are things I never thought were possible.

Just get out there and look for something because even if you don't like the job you end up with, you may find that there is another job opportunity that lays within that field of work that you never thought could be a career.

I'm even considering becoming a pharmacist now. I never thought I would like doing that kind of thing but after conversing with my workmates (some of whom are pharmacists) I'm actually really intrigued.

For me, it's a long way before i actually graduate and (possibly) experience this problem Guernsey have faced.

I'm guessing that I wouldn't get to this problem though, since I've already kind of planned out my route. Study hard, get to this school, then get to that, then this university, then this course, then whatever. It's all personally mapped out, and up to me to fulfill it.

What's more, I actually counted in the possible routes if i fail to achieve them. Guess I'm quite the forward looking guy huh?

I guess it's good to follow with your own passion though. If you end up doing a job you don't like, I suppose life would be a bore.

The best advice I can offer is to get outside and meet new people, go new places ect.. This will introduce you to new ideas and career paths that you may have never thought about. Traveling could also help you get a feel for what you wish to do with your life.

Are you currently studying anything?

If not I'd suggest you enroll in a university, I found Uni definitely helped me get a sense of direction. It opened my mind to new possibilities which I hadn't considered before.

I don't want to sound like a crappy hallmark movie, but life does await you, you can't expect to find it sitting on your ass all day, no offense.

There are a lot of interesting jobs still out there even if the economy has been gutted. I don't get me wrong some of the most interesting people I know still don't know what they want to be or do with their life. They have jobs yes, but it is not their permanent thing in life, just something to pay the bills. You have to experience it all though, I mean that's the only way to fill that little gap.

I mean seriously, if you do meet an interesting "significant" other, you don't wanna sound like the person who does nothing with himself. I mean I'm not calling you a loser, since I know I've been in your shoes once or twice, even while taking classes. So in my opinion, just get out there and live it. Each person has their different wants, if you are looking to settle down, well then find something permanent and if you are looking to live it up, well find something like a bartending job or something that gets you socially involved.
