i'm in a pretty bad area too 
I think with the area i live. Zombies would be more liekly to catch diseases off the locals than anyone human getting infected. Theyd take one looka t my neighbour down the road and run
in a zombie apocalypse i would go to the top of a big mountain so i could see for miles and know what's coming.
or the top of a tree, so i could point and laugh at all the fat people while they get eaten
I would stay at home and have a cup of tea, waiting for the whole thing to blow over
an equally good plan
