I'm not sure, I don't think it would be difficult finding out who is who on staff.

Busta and Mits never name change.
Mark and I are in the top 5 posters which would leave Vikki being the only other red/pink colour.
RPG Mods are obvious.
Jesse, Ari, Kandy and Tyler don't really name change that often, if ever. Which leaves 4 other mods who are quite easy to establish who they are.

But the SB is definitely the most annoying when trying to figure out who is who, especially in this Moogle theme.
 
At the end of the day, there are only around 80 members actually eligible to post in the Veteran Lounge, and not all of them are active, if you catch my drift. Not even all of these people post in the Veteran Lounge. Making it more exclusive just seems like a waste of space to me.

As for themes, well, that's been left in our hands now, because the admins just don't wanna be part of it anymore, and we'll just have to accept that. Complaining might help us vent but it won't make a difference.

I meant differentiating between each other, not from members.

Saying staff are the only ones who participate in themes is a bit heavy-handed.

I'm talking more generally than the recent Moogle theme (I've not been coming around recently and only noticed Mark and Kelly had changed their name at all since they're both the top posters). It's not harsh to say that, either. The forum is ridiculously clique-ish and most of the members of that clique are on the staff, and the others either used to be, soon will be, or are best friends with the staff. It's usually that clique who participate in/run the themes, so I think it's quite a fair thing to say.

There was even a username theme thread in HQ because it was essentially us (the staff/the clique) who started it every time.

Again, that's only okay to say if you're in that group or at the very least are on particularly familiar terms with them.

I might be detracting from what I was suggesting originally so let me summarise. If we're discussing the fact that it's too difficult to distinguish regular members because they change too often, then of all people the staff should probably have less freedom than us, unless we no longer cater to those who aren't part of our tightly-knit group.

As for the themes...

The constant name changing is driving me nuts....I only change my name when the forum allows me. Themes aren't fun anymore...except for that Agent Smith invasion :kelly:
