Versus 13 or FF 13?

Definitely, 12 was just crap.

I haven't been following the development of FF13 but all I know is that I'll probably get both. :P They're in the same world and maybe they'll overlap in a few places so it would be interesting to see if that happens. eg. same worldwide event effects them in completely different ways.

Not quite. XIII and Versus XIII are separate stories in separate worlds. So there's no chance of an overlapping here.

But that sounds like a very interesting idea though!
 
Versus, without a doubt. I don't want to play a game about a resistance movement - again. They did it for II, IV, VI, VII, VIII and XII. It would be nice to have a change of pace.

Plus, it looks really dark and appealing, which makes a change for Kitase's usual work.
 
I like the ff13 better than the Versus but Among all of them I prefer Agito,I only like the original well becuz 1.I like the Characters and 2. Cuz I like their atmosphere and current status (resistance group)

Certainly XIII; I'm more of a traditional RPG player than an action-RPG player and so it naturally appeals to me more. I also love the look of the trailers that I've seen so far for XIII whereas Versus simply doesn't show me enough to get excited. The screenshots and trailers don't show much gameplay and don't really show to much as to what it will involve, sure it looks nice, but I don't really know anything about it.

With XIII though I can already see the typical FF elements coming out and I really like the look fo the way it's turning out and I'm interested to see how the characters will end up developing.
 
FF13 Versus have amazing characters ;p Can't wait (avaible only for PS3 owners :D) FF13 is also good, but i prefer Versus. Also can't wait till i play Agito :)
 
Final Fantasy XIII is the one i'm more interested in. I love the main character of the game and the battle system looks to be pretty awesome but seems very complicated. I've read the battle system is supposed to be similar to the worst rated game in the Final Fantasy series, X-2.

Final Fantasy Versus looks good too, thought i'd rather wait to play it afterwards.
 
erm probably ff13 because versus isnt out for Xbox 360 and im not spending £400 on a Ps3
 
was mainly looking forward to versus as i own a 360 but as i recently got a PS3 for xmas:D i am more excited now for the original, as these games where inteneded for PS3 exclusives, but i will be getting both games.
 
Versus isn't coming out on 360. It's coming out on PS3 only. FFXIII is the one that's coming out on both 360 and PS3. Anyway, I'm mostly looking forward to Versus more than anything. I love the dark idea of the story and that this story is going to be a lot more adult-orienated than most FF games. I also am already quite fond of Noct and Stella. They're two really good-looking characters and I can't wait to find out more about them, especially how they seem close at one moment and then the next they're fighting. This game certainly has me intrigued.
 
My first RPG was...Kingdom Hearts. So im natural goin to go for FFvs13. The story is looking more dark and sinestering and that is something ive never seen before. The graphics also look dope :P
 
I'm actually looking forward to Versus more than FFXIII. That's not to say I can't wait to play them both, I'm just more intrigued by what I've seen so far from the Versus trailers. XD

Though you can't judge a book by it's cover. It may have some awesome trailers but the storyline could really be disappointing. =/

Still, I'm definitely more interested in Versus at the moment.
 
I'm more intrigued with Versus XIII at the moment. In fact, Versus XIII is the main reason why I want a PS3 :P I don't know, the story being darker, the characters having so much mystery surrounding them, all that got my atention much more than FFXIII 'till now. I'm dying to see who Noctis really is (the trailers show a Shakespeare quote that suits his personality nicely). Stella also intrigues me a lot. She seems nice but then she will do her duty and fight Noctis even if this isn't their wish.
