Charlotte Sometimes - The Cure

This song is kinda ... Hm, I don't wanna say dark, but mysterious definitely. The music sounds haunting to me, and the echoing of Robert Smith's voice is a real add to the music. :ryan:

all the faces
all the voices blur
change to one face
change to one voice
prepare yourself for bed
the light seems bright
and glares on white walls
all the sounds of
charlotte sometimes
into the night with
charlotte sometimes

night after night she lay alone in bed
her eyes so open to the dark
the streets all looked so strange
they seemed so far away
but charlotte did not cry

the people seemed so close
playing expressionless games
the people seemed
so close
so many
other names...

sometimes i'm dreaming
where all the other people dance
sometimes i'm dreaming
charlotte sometimes
sometimes i'm dreaming
expressionless the trance
sometimes i'm dreaming
so many different names
sometimes i'm dreaming
the sounds all stay the same
sometimes i'm dreaming
she hopes to open shadowed eyes
on a different world
come to me
scared princess
charlotte sometimes

on that bleak track
(see the sun is gone again)
the tears were pouring down her face
she was crying and crying for a girl
who died so many years before...

sometimes i dream
where all the other people dance
sometimes i dream
charlotte sometimes
sometimes i dream
the sounds all stay the same
sometimes i'm dreaming
there are so many different names
sometimes i dream
sometimes i dream...

charlotte sometimes crying for herself
charlotte sometimes dreams a wall around herself
but it's always with love
with so much love it looks like
everything else
of charlotte sometimes
so far away
glass sealed and pretty
charlotte sometimes

Girls Aloud - Something Kinda Ooooh

It's just one of those songs that gets me excited for some reason and dance around to. Also one of my top favourite songs from Girls Aloud. I love it because the girls all get equal vocals as opposed to frontwoman-based girlbands like the Pussycat Dolls. The lyrics make no sense whatsoever, but I'm not too arsed about that either.

Dragon Age Origins OST

I really love this game. I think I'm one of the few people to appreciate the novels worth of dialouge in Bioware games. The soundtrack though is one of the best aspects of this game. It mixes quite a few elements quite nicely. I like the feel of a nice string orchestra like in Final Fantasy games, but mixed with horns, drums and enchanting vocals I find this OST to be more relaxing and entertaining than any of the other soundtracks that I've listened to.

Silversun Pickups - The Royal We

This song is just perfect. I love this song's guitaring and drumming. It ALWAYS stays stuck in my head. And his scream is actually kinda sexy. :kinky:

And the lyrics are so intense and meaningful. I just love it.

Count It, by Hit The Lights

They made this as a short 'Thank you' song on their album. It's such a great song, I wish it was so much longer than 1:02 minutes. :gonk: But it's gorgeous though, really meaningfull, and the lyrics are awesome! :D

10/10.

JLS - Beat Again

Bit on the repetitive side, but it's a decent song from a group that came second on X Factor. I've only started listening to it again and love how they incorporate R&B into it. Another thing to like is how they equal out the vocals and how hard they actually work for the songs nowadays.

Scar symmetry - The illusionist

8/10

I listen to it for the first time, I don't really like the growls much but it doesn't bother me since it doesn't show up much, but the singer's voice is just awesome. The guitar work as well.

Killing Me DJ - Sweetbox

I love this song to pieces but I don't really care for Toby at all. Jade alone would have been much better. Still, it's a really good break up/love song, and I like it's lyrics. So, I'm happy to listen to it, I suppose!

Whyte Shadow - You are the one

Love this song. Definitely going to be played at my wedding.

It's a fairly long song. Very relaxing and I love the technoish feel about it.

The girl has a beautiful voice too. <3

There isn't too much singing and when she does sing it's the same lyrics, but it's still nice.

Eyerer & Chopstick - Make my day

Love this song. I first saw it on one of my music DVD's. >.<

It's got this little robot dog singing and he's basically roaming the streets and clubs singing about 'everywhere goes and plays.' XD

Ends up with another cute girl robot dog in the end.

The Murder of my Sweet - Death of a Movie Star

A friend recommended this to me...its quite good. The singer is above-average by my standards, and I love long, complex songs that don't make too much sense unless you listen carefully to the lyrics. Might explore some more of their work later...

Leona Lewis | Outta My Head

I like this song, she has such a great voice and I love the chorus. The music is so up to date, and now. Should be a great hit, if it is released. Really loving Leona Lewis' album: Echo. Great voice, and brilliant music throught.

A Breath Of Sunshine, by Scary Kids Scaring Kids

I remember that a rap person introduced me to this, 'punk/metal' ish band (You know who you are). I was surprised then, and I still am. Always loved this song ever since, the lyrics are great, and it's not too heavy for me to dislike it.

♪ There's static on the airwaves... I'm trying to find the light through all this haze... I can't find the words that I'm trying to say, so try to forget me as I... Walk away... ♪

Leona Lewis - I Got You

I love hope-infused hits and I just feel Leona's the girl with those lately. It's what the world could do with right now in its current state. The video's quite good as well, easily portraying the emotion in the song through the many break-ups and make-ups. I love Leona's voice in general, I've always believed she'd be a big star from her first X Factor audition.

Bleach- breathless collection Wonderful

I love this song so much, its so amazing,it makes me think of my media group and I at school for some strange reason. I recommend any of you to listen to this.

Avril Lavigne - When You're Gone

It's such a sad song with plenty of emotion to go round. Couldn't listen to it for a while when it first came out because it reminded me of my granddad when he died around the same time. However, I do think it's one of Avril's more beautiful songs. The lyrics are are very meaningful and the video is even more emotional. I cried a little inside when I first watched it. Avril's brilliant at doing this sort of stuff.

Patty Griffin- Someone else's tomorrow

I just love (sad) piano songs and she has a beautiful soft voice.
