Watercolour - Pendulum

Love 'em. Lyrics are alright, but the beat is the main selling point to me. They're proof that Drum and Base (sorta) can be good. The mix of Electronic and Rock too is just so awesome. :ryan:

Jesse McCartney Feat. Dapo Torimiro - Up

Genuinely surprised with the sound I'm hearing from Jesse McCartney, but I'm loving it! Only heard this the other day from Step Up 3D and it's one of the new favourite songs I've got on at the moment. He sounds really good at this kind of genre of music and I hope he sticks to it. I can see him making some more brilliant songs.

Nicko- Last Summer (Playmen Club Remix)

I heard this pulling into my work's parking lot yesterday morning..and I had to stop and listen to it before I went in. The lyrics are a little bit cheesy...but it reminds me of summer...and after this freezing winter I'm so excited about the thought of anything summer. This really is a cute song. Very nice beat and the bass is something else...and I like my bass-y songs because I like my bass loud :awesome:

Within Temptation - Somewhere

I'm so glad that I found this little gem. It's a fantastic song and I thought I wouldn't find one that could match up to All I Need, but I certainly have. I really admire her voice in this because she displays a variety of different emotions and the production of this is so inspiring, it sounds like an epic song you'd hear from a film before a grand battle on the finale. An excellent song, one of the best of its kind I've heard in so long.

Panic! At the Disco - The Ballad of Mona Lisa

I just heard it today, and instantly fell in love with it, Brendon Urie's Vocals are dreamy, :inlove: as always and the lyrics are pretty awesome :awesome:

Michael Bublé - Cry Me A River

I've gotten more and more into his music just lately, and this song is one of those ones in that genre that stands out. I'm really loving the jazzy feel to it. His voice is so polished and effective. It's a great song with the natural production, it's nice to see that some songs don't need big electronica sounds to stand out amongst the crowd. I originally thought it'd be a cover of Justin Timberlake's song, but it's not. Glad it's not because it's so brilliant!

Eric Prydz Vs. Pink Floyd- Proper Education

This is a club remix of the original Proper Education by Pink Floyd. Its pretty good, has a decent beat, and the lyrics are some that you will never forget: "Hey, teacher! Leave those kids alone!" :monster: I don't hear it too often on the radio but I like it because its really classic.

Zero - Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Love this song, it's so catchy and full of energy; yet it's really slickly produced. I love how she does her own backing vocals and harmonises with herself, it's really effective. It's great how the song starts off slowly, and then rises in tempo and volume. :ryan:

The Knife- Heartbeats

I think the reason I like this song so much is because its so different. Its unlike anything else I've ever heard...and its a song that relies mostly on its lyrics, which I think are really pretty. I like the live version of this song better than the original.

Cheb Mami - (Leh) Inshallah / الشاب مامي -- إن شاء الله

Its always my man Cheb's part that gets me when he sings. I gotta sing it when he starts. That's how cool Cheb is, yay, that's right. I first heard him in Sting and was like "gotta find this guy" and then went to youtube. This was the second song (first was La Re Chest Chic, which is awesome!) I heard from him, but I really like his voice. It reminds me of the 90s xD

Here are the lyrics, but you would probably want the english...huh?

The title of the song means "if God willing" Here are the lyrics:

Wind Crest - The Three Trails ~ - FFX-2 Piano Collection

Everything about this piece is so wonderful. I love how, in the beginning is goes from a low mellow tune, to a more agressive, but still very peaceful, sound. I can just picture this being played live, and damn I would have already fainted cause it's that good. :wacky:. So, all-in-all, this piece of music is pretty fawking epic, and those who disagree should be ashamed :rage:

Within Temptation - Angels

My goodness, Sharon's got such a beautiful voice in this. The band sound so much like Evanescence, but I'm starting to like Sharon as much as Amy Lee. I like how they mix the classical and symphonic rock together. The lyrics are really deep and I'm quite stunned with this little gem. Definitely up there with their other songs that I like.

Nervo feat. Ollie James- Irresistable

Very powerful song...the lyrics really hit you like a brick....and the backdrops and synths are just a compliment to them. Really really love this. The music video for the song is absolutely adorable as well.

"Your love is irresistable...there's no other way. Your love is irresistable...don't you ever change... Now I'm way over my head and falling....Got a love with no regret its calling..."

Ozzy Osbourne - Born to be Wild (feat. Miss Piggy)

Yes, you read that right. Ozzy Osbourne does "Born to be Wild" in a duet with Miss Piggy.

I recall reading in an interview that Ozzy himself dislikes the song and never wanted anything to do with it...

...but his kids love the Muppets, so he did the song for them on the Muppet Show.

Frou Frou- Breathe In

Imogen Heap has an amazing voice, and this is such a beautiful song. I think she's singing about how she loves someone and she's always in anticipation of being with him, always hanging on his last breath...because she loves him so much.

Chase and Status - Embrace (ft. White Lies)

I only downloaded their album today but I completely love this song, turned up to full blast it's a sick tune. :ryan: I'm yet to decide whether it will be a big hit because of other songs on their album but I hope it does because I'd love to hear this banging out in clubs, even in shitty remixed forms. Actually, their album in general is pretty awesome. :hmmm:

Ke$ha - Princess Ke$ha

At least that's what I've tagged it as, since it's her singing. It's really funny, and strangely addicting.

I love the "It's kinda cool I gotta robot voice". :D

Mischa Daniels feat. J-Son- Where You Wanna Go

This song has a nice beat and I love the lyrics. The style of it reminds me a lot of something David Guetta would make...but I like it. I just wish they had a cuter guy in the music video...he just doesn't do it for me. Still, its a good song :monster:

Sneaker Pimps- "Loretta Young Silks" :monocle:

(Not sure why there's three minutes of blank space at the end, but here is the full version:)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBuUIifOWFQ

Even though it doesn't feature the amazing female vocals present in my other favorites of theirs, this song is still amazing :jess: It's the perfect knock at anyone who tries to be "glamorous" but is really just a huge phony. And yet it's done in an elegant-sounding way, so as to emphasize that one can be elegant/sort of glamorous without being phony as well. 10/10
