How often would you say you were ill? And what do you do to make yourself feel better? Do you get so ill you feel like shit, or do you just have mild colds?

For me, i get ill about every 2/3 months, and i like to lie down all warm in bed, taking lots of paracetemol (when i feel really ill) ^_^ Most of the time, though, i'm not too bad, normally just a cold. I hate getting flu, when you have to run to and from the bathroom because you can't keep anything down ><

Ever since I came to Ohio and started working at a daycare center, I've become ill once every month or so. Usually it's just congestion, but I did receive all sort of viruses too. =/ My worst one recently was the stomach flu and oh boy...let's just say that it wasn't pretty, and I was extremely cold throughout the night/day.

I don't take any pills or medications for my illness. I know that it'll go away eventually, so I just wait it out. I hate putting stuff in my mouth. I really do. -Nods-

...Water is the best cure.

EDIT: Forgot to add, I usually just cuddle with my blanket on the sofa or bed to make myself feel all better. =)

I get a cold every couple of months of varying degrees. From a few sneezes to practically not being able to breath.
I'm very rarely actually sick without alcohol bieng involved, but I was about a month ago for the first time in years.
A for a cure, I just tend to ride it out because there's nothing else to do. I use Olbas Oil on my pillow when I've got a blocked nose though.

I'm not prone to illness; in fact, I'd say it's been well over a year since I've endured a full-blown episode of sickness.

I do catch the occasional cold during the winter. Nothing out of the ordinary. My nose becomes congested and I might develope a minor sore throat, cough or headache. Nothing that'll leave me bed-ridden or call for a visit to the doctor's office.

In the event that I do become significantly ill, I'll sit around and play videogames all day. Again, nothing out of the ordinary. I'll consume extremely large amounts of juice and take zinc vitamins as well.

I get ill maybe once or twice a year, and one of the times is usually around Christmas. I did get sick earlier last month so that was my first time getting sick this year, and I can expect to get sick around Christmas day.

The last time I remember myself being sick was two years ago:P i'm just not the sick type  However I have major allergies in the spring (if that counts). I keep on sneezing and coughing, I heard from the doctor that I'm allergic to lots of trees... Just can't go near one 'till summer.

I never used to get ill ever....i got like one piddly cold a year (altho i used to get migranes every so often which sucked beyond anything that ever sucked)

In my work history i have only ever pulled a sicky when iv been hungover & thats the only time i ever really throw up

This last year however my health has gone too pot, iv had loads of colds killer flu, a few harsh stomach bug things (which sucked so much)

But alas, I am entirely to blame for my own missfortunes....burning both ends of the candle is no fun when i t catches up with you, iv had to have a couple of months off work coz i burned out lol - im back on tuesday....should be fun o_O

Anyways, next year im hoping to get my health back on track,(im joining the gym tomorrow - oh lord) and cutting back on the alcofrol

I tell you what tho....Im going on one hell of a bender for my bday to make up for it xD

I get really bad this time of year due to the cold. Its a bitch as I had my first day off in my new job the other day and Ive been there a month.

I rarely ever get sick. Though when I do, it's absolute hell. Everything's just completely magnified from what you'd expect it to be which -suffice it to say- sucks a whole lot.

I've recently contracted a severe headache which forced me to stay off work for the duration of last week, and today have chronic pains in my stomach area. I've literally bowled over in pain, but I don't know what the fuck it is. D=

Same applies for colds an' similar such things. I'm always far worse off than I should be.

You should really get that checked out, champ. Pains that literally bring you to the ground should be given attention!

And what the hell? I copied that sentence from your post...and caught your green text as well. You're contagious, it seems. That was sorta lame. I'm just too lazy to change the text color.

Ohhh...Sorry, Saix! It sucks you're sick. You too, Aerith! You two get better!

I JUST got over a round of the stomach flu, which is now currently making its rounds through my family, my friends, and my boyfriend's family. He was unlucky enough to have it on Thanksgiving day, preventing him from eating a whole lot. I was lucky to be over it enough to be able to eat anything!

I really only get sick about maybe once a year, though I cant remember the last time I was so sick that I had to stay in bed. Drinking lots of orange juice seems to help me get through it.

Yeah, normally I rarely get sick. I get the sniffles once every winter and the stomach flu every 2-3 years. And Colds along with fevers are rare as well. But lately, I've been dating someone who easily gets sick, so the pleasure of not getting sick is gone. Its been about a month now since I caught her first sickness and my health has never felt 100% since. I love her. But damn! I'm not used to getting sick that many times in such a short time.

I'm typically the type of person who gets ill once every 2-3 months. But lately, I've been on a considerably healthy diet, and I haven't been sick in months.

Usually when I have mild sickness, like the cold, I don't eat anything because I'm constantly gargling my own snot. It's a real appetite killer... but colds don't get me down.

I think food poisoning is much worse than a cold. I've had that a few times. Food poisoning usually puts me in bed for 3-4 days. Nothing to eat but crackers and water, and constant puking. =x

This thread has cursed me :( iv been ill since last night, it feels like indigestion or summat....I hate how i'm always sick lately. I can't eat but I'm hungry *sigh*

I haven't had an actual fever for a long time. The last time my body temperature was over 100 was when I was a child. I never had anything such as Scarlet fever or Strep throat.

Let's see....Recently I had heart burn, and I get a stomach ache from eating too fast. I randomly get head aches.

Most of the time I don't get sick.

Oh sure I get a stuffy nose sometimes but I think that has more to do with allergys to be honest.

Though I do not get sick often, sometimes I go two years without getting anything, when I do its usually bad. Stomache virius, strep throat, or something else of the like.

I hate being sick, that's why I avoid it :D Haven't been ill for 3-4 years now. These last two winters I even tried to get sick intentionally, just to see how far I can go. I used to go out to the store in short sleeves and short pants, but nothing happened :D.
