Unpopular Opinions

:hmmm: I have many opinions on many things that people don't agree with but now that I'm trying to write them down they aren't coming to me :S

So I'll write a couple down that I can remember for now.


  • Pedophiles and Rapists should be castrated when caught.
  • Don't whinge to me about how your life sucks, I don't care.
  • Vegetarians who eat Fish and Chicken and who own Leather products are Morons.
  • I LIKE VAMPIRE DIARIES and think it's the best show on tv :sad3:
That's all I can think of for now :grin: I will update another day.
 
People take their taste in movies, music and entertainment in general too seriously.

Hipsters, Emos etc etc are media constructs. If you genuinely dislike people because you think they fall into these categories, you are a sheep.

Being cynical doesn't mean you are any more intelligent/less naive than the next guy. It just makes you an annoying twat to be around.

People that don't know how to slow down and enjoy silence are very lonely.

Art is an expression not something that requires thinking 24/7

People that gossip constantly and expect gossip are indeed very shallow and non deserving individuals.

Although Money is the root to all evil or Money doesn't lead to happiness, try being completely without it.

Kill your television.

Don't lead a life of quoting everyone elses quotes, use your wit and think for yourself.

Music is meant to be a form of communication, not a use for advertisement.

The ugliest people are the ones who dwell on someone else's faults, instead of trying to improve their own. (America as a whole).

Honesty is the number one hardest thing to constantly maintain

Capitalism alone can not exist, Communism alone can not exist. Culture can not stay the same, People only have to understand, they don't have to agree.

Respect is something that most people strive their whole life trying to attain, when the only thing they really need to attain is self worth.

More is never enough.

Trying to relive memories is indeed fruitless.

Excuses are the number one bane to the human society, without excuses people would be a lot better off.

Everyone is addicted to something.
 
Apparently, "I like wrestling" is a very unpopular opinion. People seem to not like me very much because of that. I don't get it really. Why is basketball so much more important than wrestling? I'll admit I don't give a damn about basketball, football or baseball. I watch very little tennis and soccer. Really the only thing I watch is wrestling and I love it. It means the world to me and I'm not Changing that for anybody.

So what if it's scripted? It's like watching a movie. There's all kinds of plot twists and the like. I've known this for years. I remember being 3 playing with my Undertaker & Kane toys making storylines for them. Wrestling has been in my life since day one and will remain in my life until life itself is no more.

But saying I like WWE or saying WWE is cool for some reason got me shunned. What kind of BS is that? Honestly I don't give a damn anymore. I am who I am. I like what I like. I wear my wrestling T-shirts proudly everyday.

I'm proud of who I am and I'm proud of this unpopular opinion. Anybody that had a problem with that left my life. Including some idiotic family members that for some reason, didn't want me to like wrestling. They wanted me to be a robot. I don't do that.

I'm thankful for WWE always being there for me, my whole life. I'm thankful for my parents supporting me. And I'm thankful for all my friends that didn't give up on me after they realized I wasn't gonna try to be something I'm not.

I'm a wrestling fan. I like wrestling.

And if you're not down with that, I got two words for ya!

Too bad.. :)
 
My views on eating meat are really unpopular, but so complex. :lew:

I shall put them inside SPOILER tags since I'm very conscious about giving people a choice to listen to/read them. :hmmm:

Firstly, I do not believe in supporting the farming industry. :/ Even though there are billions of us, the mass slaughter is not necessary. We breed millions of animals so that we can kill them, and many of those animals have terrible deaths. Slaughter houses can be terrible places where workers abuse the livestock, but even those which aren't must smell of death, causing fear in the animals when they are sent there. :/

I do believe it's important to have a balanced diet. Consequently, I started eating fish about two years ago. I was 100% vegetarian before this. I still refuse to eat bi-products of the animal such as gelatine, but I do eat fish. I think natural protein is essential, and Quorn just doesn't feel natural. Furthermore, fish does contain omega 3s and many essential vitamins. However, there are many many issues with eating fish, such as overfishing, dirty waters and wasteful fishing - fishermen catch, kill then throw away edible fish (such as whiting) because they aren't the fish they're looking for (such as tuna). This means, of course, that eating fish is as bad as eating meat from farms... I have cut down dramatically on the fish I eat since reading about this. I now tend to have it only when I eat out, and two portions of smoked salmon a week for those essential fats. :hmmm:

In order to eat less fish, I started to eat venison two weeks ago. Some would accuse me of being inconsistent again, but deer live in the wild and then they're shot swiftly. I don't have a problem with that. I'd eat game and rabbit if I didn't absolutely hate the taste of both. It's mass slaughter I dislike. :sad3: If chickens lived and were killed swiftly in the wild, I'd consider eating those. Eating meat is still a VERY foreign thing to me though (I haven't eaten meat since the age of 11), so I would need to build myself up for eating chicken. It took me two months to build myself up so I could eat venison. :lew:

P.S. stemming from the notes above, I have another unpopular opinion! It's silly to say you shouldn't eat cute animals, such as deer and rabbit, but should eat animals such as cows and chickens. o_O
 
Just a few.

- Free Will doesn't exist.
- The War On Terror is perpetual and not winnable.
- The Government is not 'your' Government and they don't care about you.
- Saying "I Don't Know" isn't a crime and should be said more often!
