Unexplained Hate that has No Reason for Being.

It's not possible to hate someoen for no reason. Hate requires some level of emotional investment, apathy is the opposite of love etc etc.
So to see someone on the side of the street and say that you hate them would be hyperbole. I'm sure most people feel dislike for people they've never met, but only dislike and probably only because of one aspect of their character or appearance.
to instinctively dislike someone is different, instinct is our subconcious ergo it cannot be explained.

I think Hal summed up Stang's comment as well. So honestly, do you truly hate these folks? I mean have a deep want to never see them again?

If you do, then you have no one to blame but yourself. The ability to change is inside anyone. The problem is keeping the change as a constant. So if you passively hate group A, and don't understand why.. well I suggest investing some time in something that makes your thoughts more delineated (outlined).

I mean that's a problem man, I'm just letting you know. I mean I can dislike and have anger all day long, but to actual hate someone.. is a different story.

I can hate people without really knowing them, but I wouldn't consider a strong hate, probably more like dislike. I can understand looking at someone and disliking them instantly, but not really and truly hate them. To hate someone I really have to see how they behave.

So, I suppose I think it's possible to dislike someone without knowing them, but not hate. Hate is an emotion that must be built, at least for me.

I think it has already been established that hate is a strong word which is often misused. I'm not trying to put words in Tsukianei's mouth but I don't think he is referring to the same kind of 'hate' that you are...That is my impression from the thread anyway.

Anyway I think it is relatively normal to be annoyed or angered by a stranger or someone you've just met. First impressions can be important an' such. But I think it is important to not let these preconceived thoughts inhibit you from actually liking the person later on. For example when I first saw one of my best friends before I met him I thought he was douche bag.
