little britain was novel for the first few episodes. when they started creating new characters that were exactly the same as older characters it became less novel. its very unfunny now. matt lucas has done much better elsewhere.

and theres plenty of hilarious scottish comedies :)
 
I did think they tried to take the sho beyond its limits.

Rab C Nesbitt is hilarious, because it plays on the Scottish stereotype.
 
rab c is more political and forcefully witty. after re-watching still game its the better of the two. everything in it just seems natural. and its hilarious

oh and theres only fools and horses, english obv, but that was pretty good too.

British comedy is ace. Re Dwarf, Spaced, Blackadder, Black Books, Only Fools, original My Family (with Nick, and when Janey lived at home), the start of My Hero, Hyperdrive, The IT Crowd, The League of Gentlemen.

there were some fuckin hilarious moments in the young ones. especially with neil :lew::lew::lew:

but mostly the young ones and bottom werent very witty, they were just toilet humour...not that i dsiapprove :wacky:

The Young Ones isn't toilet humour at all.
