Two Years Yesterday...

Since I joined Final Fantasy Forums. And man, so much has changed since then. I wonder if any of you remember back in late 2006 or early 2007, when the banner was different than today, and when some of the staff members were different. It's just crazy to see how much has changed in just two years.

Anyway, now to turn this into a discussion: When did you join? Or, if you want, you can also comment on what I said in the previous paragraph.

Well, hopefully, I'll be on here for another couple of years.

I joined about 3 or 4 days after the site's creation in June '06, after receiving a PM (which was later uncovered to be one of Darkblade's skeletons - he was guilty of Mass PM advertising every FF forum on the internet). You're right when you say that so much has changed in just two years. It's essentially a different website. xD

I joined on December 15, 2007, so the one year mark is coming up soon for me ^^
The forums really have changed a lot in just one year though, so I can't imagine how different things must seem to you guys. A lot of people sure have come and gone...

It's almost been 2 years for me, next month. I joined like a few minutes after Rhea/Booger/Howl joined up and it's been quite an adventure since. Joined staff about 2 weeks in, Mod to Gmod to Admin. Took a year off, came back, and am starting to enjoy the forums again like old.

It's cool to come back and sort of start a new and see how things AND people have changed. It's been an up and down ride, but definitely cool overall.

I joined in August last year, started getting active around November/December and well, I have since learned I have no life xD

I'd never even so much as snifferd a forum before then, and when I have stumbled across one, I have had no idea what it was or how it worked....how I got along at first here is anyones guess, I was a complete n00b xD

I joined this forum on July 3, 2006 but I wasn't active until July this year. I did use to post quite a bit when I was first here but I started to lose interest and went to another forum. The forum I went to though, I can't go back anymore so this is the only place I have left to go. I try to stay active on forums but it's hard because I start to lose interest when I don't see alot of people posting.

My two years is coming up soon. December 14, 2006 exactly, but I didn't actually make my first post until January 18, 2007 - so around the same time that Rhea, Busta, and a few others joined. It has indeed been one heck of a ride, but all in good fun. It's nice to see some of the people I'm very familiar with still around and posting, and although I'm looking to be very busy once I permanently go back to California next week, (yes I'm dying to change that bit part on where it says 'Location' finally) I don't think anything or anyone can really pull me away from this place. I just love the site. =]

I joined the forum August 24, 2008 and have been very active ever since because I just love this site and The staff is awesome and so are some members. It is just so fun this place is like my home.

One year tomorrow, a fair bit has changed since then. One thing that immediately springs to mind is Tedius Zanarukando and the lulz that were a result of his stupid threads and ideas.

I was pretty n00b when I first came here, I spent a good few weeks just in the final fantasy section, because for some bizarre reason I couldn't figure out how to get out of it. I remember thinking "shit, as if these people have 2000 posts just from talking about Final Fantasy, don't they talk about movies or music or anything?" Then I found the movies, music and anything sections.

I've come to really like it here and I spend a good deal of my time here, I usually have it open in a tab whenever I go online.

i also joined two days ago but this isn't my first forum. I have actually lost count in how many different forums i have been with. much hasn't really changed in two days, other than The Grinch won't give me my christmas back D :. I really like it here so far though, and my opinion has changed a lot in the last couple days. I really like it here and feel comfortable now rather than when i first joined and i realized that i was alone without knowing anyone.

ive been on here about a month

ive been on other forums, and moderated other forums, however none that really interested me, for instance i played an online game and we had a external forum and i was one of the mods.

however havnt been on a forum in quite some time, and as i have no life and dedicated my life to final fantasy i thought why not join a final fantasy forum, mainly due to the fact rhat none of my friends liked final fantasy and i needed someone to talk about it with, and so i give thanks to all those who take time to listen to the 90% crap 10% facts i mention about the games

and yea i spose the forum would of changed in 2 years but i wouldnt no, obviously they were changes for the good and im sure we will see many more positive changes in the future

I joined summer of last year, I think. I don't really have any memories though because I never have posted much. The size of the forums here is slightly overwhelming. I can't keep track of all the seperate sub-forums and the hundreds of posts that go around everyday. But whatev, I'm making more of an effort now that Busta, who got me to join, is active again.

I'm here since October 2006 and still haven't realised how fast these two years passed or how much I've grown up.
Yes,I remember many different members back then and in fact I wish things were just like the old times,not that I'm complaining about it,but at least back then I had someone to talk to.

After summer of last year I took over a year off from this place just to sort of get junk settled down and figure out what I'm doing with my life and spend time with my family.

So yeah, rolling upon my 2 year anni here next month, but it feels like it's been way longer at times.
