It's true, Tidus and Jecht have been confirmed with scans of their Dissidia artwork along with a few screenshots displaying them against one another and it seems that the Arena Stadium where you must battle Braska's Final Aeon from FFX is also confirmed.

On a side note, it appears that all the FF Heroes are being drawn younger, just by comparing Tidus's alternative outfit to his FFX, though I have to say the Dissidia attire looks better on him, rather than his original outfit.

From what i saw which wasn't much because of that damn ad that keept poping up. So whats with it? Please exspain :monster:
 
Yeah, I encountered that stupid pop-up ad, I simply clicked the tiny cross in the top right corner to rid my sight of the pesky hinderance.

It's just a stupid, bothersome pop-up, but the information is true and the FFX characters have finally been revealed, though I wonder what the partnered FF is going to be revealed next, seeing as first FF1 and FF9, then FF2 and FF8.

Which one is next?

EDIT: The website I found it on doesn't exactly provide information in English, since it is apparent that it is a French website, though it does some of the official Dissidia artwork for Tidus and Jecht along with screenshots of them both battling.

It's about time they confirmed that they were going to be in the game. I've heard rumors, but it's good to finally know it's true.

What is up with the collar on Tidus' outfit? That looks stupid if you ask me.. Other than that, he looks pretty cool. Jecht looks almost exactly the way he did in FFX, so no complaints there.

Now I'm just hoping that they will confirm Cloud is in the game. We know Sephiroth is, so what are they waiting for? Anyways, thanks for the info!
 
So is this game going to be called Dissidia? Sorry i'm really confused. So if this going to be a new FF game? If so i hope so because Jecht and Tidus are one of my favorite FFX characters :P.

I also agree with Lighting, what is with Tidus' outift looks sorta weird. Jecht does look the same still got the really cool S thing him :gasp:.
 
^ It's a new FF game coming to the PSP. They're taking the main protagonist and antagonist from past FF games and putting them against each other. The gameplay is supposed to be "hack and slash", kind of like Kingdom Hearts. The only protagonists confirmed so far are Squall, Zidane, Tidus, and the main character of FFII. Antagonists are Sephiroth, Ultimacia, Jecht, Dark Cloud, Kuju.. There's more, but that's all I can think of atm. Anywyay, it should be a cool game.

Omg?! That sounds awesome. So a hack and slash sorta game like KH. Ahh, i can't wait for it. I've always wonted a KH sorta game with Tidus and such (i was kind of thinking of a FFX remake :neomon:).

Looks pretty cool though.

I know I missed a couple.

Wonder which characters will be confirmed next.Also Tidus outfit looks the same in X to me. 0.0 I dont see anything different about it at all. :P
 
Well I didn't understand anything except Square-Enix, but I can see from the images hope this game is gonna be pwnage
 
Everyone misses Firion from FFII :P

I think that Jecht's pauldron is different. I don't remember him having a massive spiky shoulder guard. wasn't it just a regular flat one? Tidus' collar looks very different to me, and more of his chest is exposed (I can hear the fangirls squealing from here).

Sweeeet, they gave Tidus some new duds. He looked like he fell into a heap of garbage in FFX.

Likin' the line-up so far. Makes me wish I had a PSP, actually.

Where have they announced Cloud of Darkness, Cecil, Exdeath and Kefka?

The only confirmed characters so far are -

Final Fantasy - Warrior of Light, Garland
Final Fantasy II - Firion, Emperor Palamecia
Final Fantasy VII - Sephiroth
Final Fantasy VIII - Squall Leonhart, Ultimecia
Final Fantasy IX - Zidane Tribal, Kuja
Final Fantasy X - Tidus, Jecht


I wish they'd announce Cloud already though, since it's blatantly obvious that it'll be him and Sephiroth -__-
 
I can't wait for this game. The battles look quite awesome, although I'm thinking it'll be kinda hard to maneuver the characters, but I just get the impression for some reason. "Hack and slash" isn't exactly my type, but I've gotten used to it due to KH and Crisis Core. We'll see what this one has to offer.

And I'm sure they'll confirm Cloud soon enough. I wonder what the plot is going to be like though. Haven't really done any extensive research about this game yet.
 
I kinda assumed Tidus would be included, as for Jecht that was a pleasant surprise to me! I wonder if any XII characters will be in it?
 
Okay, what the FUCK did Nomura do to Tidus!? What's with that collar of his shirt? And what's with the spiked thing on Jecht's shoulder? I'm sorry, but it looks like Nomura just totally fucked Tidus's face and hair all up. He looks nothing like he did in FFX...While it's awesome to get to see both him and Jecht in this game, I really hate what he's done to Tidus. He's one of my favorite characters and Nomura had to go and ruin him.
 
Sayuri, you've pretty much summed up what I was thinking :neomon: If Nomura had kept to his original designs, the game would be a lot more bearable. I've gotten to dislike his designs a fraction less, but now, it's refueled my distaste.

I dislike Zidane's, Tidus' and Jecht's Nomurafication the most. And the latter two were already Nomurafied, so that's really saying something.
