The Tale of the Forgotten - RP

Vex was finally rushing towards the golem, when he jumped into up into the air. Just as he was about to come down, the golem suddenly sank back into the earth and vanished. All that was seen was a pile of dirt moving off in the direction that Jimmy left. After what seemes like a couple of minutes of travel the golem pops out. Now senesing the power of the gem, the golem sends a fist crashing into the earth, sending a giant rockwave at the two people who seemed to have runoff with the gem. The golem then sinks his feat into the ground and appears to slide towards the two thieves.

All in the middle of the Vex landed and was wondering what was going on. Soon he thought to himself, "Could it be possible that the golem sensed the gem, and went after it?'

OOC( Jimmy this golem won't be so easy to kill, and this is an attempt to force you back to town, so the fight for this gem can be drawn out as it was ment to be.)

Zeria noticed the golem vanish and gasped.

"NO! I won't be able to maintain this energy unless it's used for an attack! If I hold it much longer, there would be a catestrophic explosion!"

Her body was shaking so hard, you could hear the metal of her shuriken and kunai clattering together. And what's worse, was that her body was now covered in long deep gashes. Soon, the worst would come and everyone would die if she couldn't release this amazingly huge amount of energy into an attack...

OOC: Jimmy i'm sorry but you will need to fight the golem, the gem must be earned. You simply just can't walk off with it. Also this is a golem created by the earth gem, so it will be able to regenerate. Jimmy please note that this is a gaurdian for the gem and cannot be defeated with such ease. Also the golem made another attack which you took no recognition for.

As if senseing it's gaurdian's destruction the gem once again left off a brilliant glow. The golem once again rose from the earth and now seemed to be more enraged. It looked around at the two and spotted the one who attempted to kill him. The golem vanished into the earth and slide to beneath Leon. It then began to rebuild itself around Leon, as if to crush him and absorb the gem into himself. As it was rebulding itself it sent one fist down sending another rock wave towards to the other person.

Vex now still in the town was thinking to himself, " I have to find the golem, it most likely went after the gem." Vex beging to run off in the direction of the rumble the golem left behind in it's wake when it dissapered. As he ran he turned his head backwards and yelled out "Look the golem most likely went after the earth gem, so if we chase it we still might have a chance to get it back."

Damian stood for a moment in shock. he had not expected to see this creature run off while being attacked. Then he heard Zeria's cry of dispair.
"Vex we need to draw the creature back here. Zeria needs to releasethe energy she's taken in or this place is history."
He turned back to Zeria and said, "Try to hold on for just a little longer. We'll be back soon."
He took off running after Vex and the gem. The flame streamed from the blade of his weapon as he ran, leaving a visible trail of fire.

Julius wandered this barren wasteland. He was lost in a world with half of his life shattered in countless shards inside his mind. Julius got amnesia after he had a terrible accident several months ago near the outskirts of Altharia, and so he traveled alone, carrying his sword and what little equipment he had left after the incident. His left shoulder had a small cut, presumable made by one of the many attacks and ambushes that Julius survived during his journey.

After countless and unbearable weeks of walking without a course, Julius arrived in a small town whose name he ignored. He was panting, exhausted from the long journey, terribly injured and weakened from the blood loss. It is as if Julius spent all this time literally dragging the remnants of his shattered body all the way to this location.

He reached a small church, and opened the door slamming it against the wall. He leaned his back against the wall and asking for help from anyone close enough to listen to him. With the little strength he had left, Julius tried to enter by his own means to the church, but his body failed him and he collapsed on the floor. The priest found Julius laying on a pool of his own blood and, with some help from the monks, he carried the unconscious Julius upstairs and placed him on a small bed in the second floor. In there they treated his wounds and bandage most of his wounds, mainly his left shoulder and right leg, his torso and his forehead. A bucket of blood and a towels stained by Julius' blood could be seen near his bed. The room had a small window that allowed a small amount of light to illuminate the room.

Zeria nodded to Damian and tried to hold the energy longer. It was slowly beginning to tear her to shreds and she didn't know how much more torture her body would take. Her spirit energy was entirely gone, and now, holding this massive attack back, was eating at her life's own energy. The second it ran out, not only would she die, but anything within 500 miles would be completely and utterly destroyed.

"Hurry...up...!"

Noticing the danger Zeria is in, Arthvader headed towards her.

Arthvader "Zeria, I want you to release that at me. I'll try to reflect it with my mirror shield."

He then drew out his shield, preparing to reflect it.

Arthvader "HURRY UP, ZERIA! RELEASE YOUR ATTACK NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"NO! This attack is too strong for you! It would shatter any attempt to shield and completely destroy you!"

More blood poured to the ground around her. Zeria was now sitting in a pool of blood.

"I won't let you take this blast!"

Arthvader "I don't care if I lose my life. It's your life I'm trying to save. I'm more than capable to reflect any attack. Just believe in me and I'll be able to accomplish this.

Arthvader, refusing to risk his life, focused his energies to reflect the attack.

Arthvader "DO IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"FINE!"

The earth began to rumble and shake around her as a massive force began to form in her hands. She stood up and raised her hand into the air, then aimed it at Arthvader.

"FINAL CRUSH!"

The wave came blasting out of her hand like a comet at high speed. The energy was a crimson red color and it's power destroyed and ripped up the ground beneath it. Zeria still held back as much as she could. This attack was lethal and she'd most likely be unable to fight for a few days. She could only hope that she was holding back enough to spare Arthvader's life...

Arthvader "Ugh, Such power she had stored in that shot."

The attack was finally released and hit Arthvader's shield, sending Arthvader back several feet. Arthvader then begins storing all that energy into the shield in order to release it in another direction. Moment after moment, the shield slowly begins gathering the energy before reflecting the massive attack.

Arthvader "Everyone, stay away. AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"

Arthvader, with his shield fully charged, pushed the massive energy towards the sky, guaranteeing that the attack won't hurt anyone. He was tired after fully reflecting such a powerful attack.

Arthvader "Well, That quite took a bit o..u.t...o..f....m..."

He collapsed in front of the group, tired as he was from reflecting the attack.

Several weeks passed, and the young lost knight got used to work to earn a living without even knowing who he was. For the village he was "J", a great and noble swordsman. He worked with the blacksmith on repairing homes and other buildings, earning 10 golden coins per day, a nice pay for someone that at first barely even remembered how to use a hammer.

A month later, "J" decided that it would be best to start his own journey, searching for his lost past. The only clue he had was a small note with a few names : "Shenorai Eterna, Zeria Iiyasei, Arthvader..."

"I'm...sorry...."

Zeria dropped to the ground from exhaustion and slowly lost consciousness. Everything turned black and she fell into memories of the times she used to have. Relaxing in meadows while just watching the clouds. Sitting in trees at night and watching the stars and moon. Spending time and training with all of her dearest friends. Everything had been so perfect before she'd....no. She couldn't think about it. It was too horrible to want to remember.

The blast of energy behind him took Damian by suprise. He turned around in time to see it stream into space.
'Am I too late to save her?'
A sorrow filled him at this thought of failure.
"This ends now."
He faced back in the direction of the golem. He could see Vex running on ahead. Damian pulled out his gun and held it in his left hand ready to fight. His sword was still aflame and he dashed forward once again.

Someone appeared out of nowhere at its side, curious about the energies inside of it... Except this person was not human. It was a full blooded demon, wings, claws on his fingers, markings, and blood red eyes! It had to be a demon, there was no other explanation for his wings and his sudden appearance... And he was weilding a incredibly large sword- at least 10 feet with one hand as easily as someone would hold a knife!

"... This golem was created by dark magic. And it appears the creator has been stolen from, by what i've observed. Hm... Golem, I'm bored, I want a fight... I think i'll help you." The demon turned to face the attackers of the attackers, and took a berserker stance, staying nearby the golem. His eyes kept drifting between everyone present, wondering who would get close to the golem first...

The man followed the road until he stumbled across another town. This one was slightly bigger than the last one he had visited and perhaps he could find more information regarding his past. He headed towards the a local Weapon Shop, to find out if he could find anything useful for his journey.

As he entered the store, a man with long beard carrying a big hammer greeted him. The man showed a small paper to the blacksmith and asked if he knew anything about the people listed on the note. The blacksmith told him that he didn't, but he did told the man that there were rumors of strange warriors attacking small villages and towns. The man thanked the blacksmith for the help and placed a few coins on the counter. He then grabbed a map and asked the blacksmith if he could take it. The blacksmith said that it didn't bother him, so he allowed the mysterious man to leave with the map.

"Hmm If the information given to me is correct, the nearest town to the area in which those devil warriors were last seen is Fenith. Perhaps I should go there and investigate. Who knows, maybe I will be able to discover some info regarding my past."

The man placed the map inside his pocket and ventured himself around the town, looking if he could recognize someone. Failing to see any familiar faces, the man left the town and set his eyes on the port town of Fenith.

Daziel was a neglected village of little renown, except for the recent tales that spread around other lands of a dark secret lurking within one of the old caverns. The occasional passer-by and curious city-dweller would venture as far as this scrawny village for the slightest indication of truth towards the rumours.

These interested the nobleman little. He did -however- pay much attention to well-worn and equipped travelers who ventured here; quite actively of late. It was his assigned task to secure the village of Daziel and report any disturbances which related to the Earth Gem, and as such, he felt obliged to investigate everything thoroughly.

"These people, Walter..." he spoke aloud to his butler, "... what is it you think they're really after? Each appear as though they have an itinerary to find this particular artifact. A curious situation - to put it lightly."

"I know not, Lord. Need you concern yourself with such matters? By the looks of them, they're nothing but desperate peasants."

"Your sense of superiority never ceases to amuse me Walter" he chuckled.
Raising himself from his armchair, Taharka took to the window where Walter stood.
"I take my leave. My mission here is concluding abruptly it seems."

The commotion outside forced him to take participation in what had ensued amongst those rats. Though to what extent his participation would reach, not even he could anticipate the outcome.

'What is going on here? Another creature appearing by the golem. Why are they elements so active right now?'
Damian could not comprehend what he had stumbled onto this day. The things he was seeing now, he knew only from the stories his parents told him at night. Spirits and demons popping out of nowhere.
He began to feel the fear once again. His feet began to grow heavy and his paced slowed a little, but his anger fought through and kept him moving forward.
His goal was not the golem, but Leon. It was Leon's fault he failed Zeria and the village. Now he must avenge them and himself with Leon's death.

The man wandered for days mistaking the paths and ending up in another place: the village of Daziel. He cursed his luck seeming that on top of not being able to remember anything, he was also lost in another town far away from Fenith. Seeing that going back would be quite imprudent, the man headed towards the main gate. There he saw two knights clad in heavy armors from head to toe. The knights prevented him from entering the village, questioning the man's purpose on Daziel.

"What are your business here, stranger?"

"I am a traveler from the north lands, searching for clues regarding a certain subject that I am not allowed to divulge. I have walked for several days and it seemed that I lost my path and ended up here. I was originally traveling to Fenith."

The man seemed to be quiet trustworthy, but that didn't mean that the guards were going to let him in so easily. The man agreed to go with them to Lord Taharka, the noble placed in charge of the village of Daziel.

"So be it, take me to your lord then."

The man was then lead to a fort in which he would make an audience with Taharka in order to explain his presence here.

After a while, Zeria groaned and shakily rose to her feet.

"What's...going on?"

Her body ached everywhere, and she was still injured beyond severely. Blood trailed behind her on the ground as she tried to follow the others. But alas, it was to no avail. She'd lost track of all of them. Arthvader, whom she was very greatful to, was probably severely injured as well.

"I hope Arth is alright..."
