Rather than make a thread for each one, the whole series will be discussed here.
So anyone enjoys the game? What do you love about Sims? I played my first Sims game back in 2004 (Sims 2 on PS2) and was pretty hooked. Now I have Sims 3 (PS3), The Sims Medieval, and recently purchased Sims 2 Double Deluxe on the PC. For only $20, I figured why not.
So far, loving the Sims 2 PC version - it was a whole lot different than the console version. Creating your own neighborhood (along with residential and community lots), is awesome. xD I haven't gotten far into it yet, but I like what I see so far.
I don't think I'll be purchasing the Sims 3 on PC though...even though I'm looking forward to Pets expansion coming out soon. There's quite a few expansions out already and they can be costly. I think I'd rather play Sims 2 while I wait for Sims 4. But I will purchase the Pets expansion for PS3 version since I already have the base game. I just know I'll be missing quite a lot since it won't be on PC though.
Anyway, I've gotta say that the one thing I enjoy most about Sims is going to Build mode and creating my own house. =] It took me a few weeks just to build a huge house (wouldn't call it a mansion) on Sims 3, but that's because I can be so intricate with details. One thing I hate about console versions: fire meter. How annoying! Mine was full so I couldn't add any more stuff to my house, but I managed to finish it in the end.
Well then, let's hear about your own experience! You may also post any snapshots and videos of your Sims / houses / community lots.

But sadly, it didn't work on my computer
So I waited a year until I got a new computer. I was so happy
) It really is a fun game and has come a LONG way since the first one.

My mom got me into the series when I was about 12 years old. Unfortunately (well not really. Even at my age, I though there wasn't much to do in the first game of the series), I lost my copy as well as the Superstar expansion pack.
I deleted my save file off of my PSP for space saving reasons, and the fact that I probably wasn't going to play it anytime soon.
But yeah, I also want the World Adventures and Late Night expansion packs for it, as I'd like to see how much more my sims can do ~

I ended up getting the Sims 3 for my ps3 because I was really disappointed when I realized that the pc version wasn't going to work on my pc. The graphics and the customizations for the third installment really are amazing. The house I made is really beautiful and the lots are pretty big and you can build quite a bit on them. The careers are also much more in-depth than in the original games as far as the need for social interaction and skill development. The interactions are laughable and I will say I've had my fair share of laugh out loud moments...like when my girl sim went into labor with twins and her husband does the typical freak out thing...and then goes off into the kitchen to prepare dinner

Hahahaha.
Oh well...
Old news now, but hey, maybe not everyone knows!
