Hahahaha! I only delete unimportant pms....and I suppose I'll join...but you'd better email those pictures to me tomorrow, or I'll steal your soul. >=D
Hey We had to memorize two soliloquies for a score... In fact I still remember them, I'll post them here,
Polonius's Advice to Laertes:
Neither a Borrower nor a Lender be
Give thy thoughts no tongue, Nor any unproportioned thought his act. Be thou familiar, but by no means vulgar. Those friends thou hast, and their adoption tried, Grapple them unto thy soul with hoops of steel, But do not dull thy palm with entertainment of each, New-hatched, unfledged courage. Beware of entrance to a quarrel, But being in, bear't that th' opposed may beware of thee. Give every man thine ear, but few thy voice, Take each man's censure, but reserve thy judgment, Costly thy habit as thy purse can buy, But not expressed in fancy; rich, not gaudy, For the apparel oft proclaims the man, Ansd they in France, of the best rank and station, Are of a most select and generous. Neither a borrower nor a lender be, For loan oft loses both itself and friend, And borrowing dulleth edge of husbandry. This above all, to thine own self be true, And it must follow as the night the day. Thou canst not then be false to any man.
OMG I still remember, XD.Be 100% sure that I didn't copy from anywhere,
And the second one:
Hamlet's Soliloquy
To be or not to be
To be or not to be: that is the question, Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer, The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them. To die, to sleep - No more - and by a sleep to say we end
the heartache. And the thousand natural shocks,
That flesh is heir to. 'Tis a consumation
Devoutly To be wished. To die, to sleep -
to sleep - perchance to dream: ay there's the rub,
For in this sleep od death, what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause. There's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life,
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time?
The oppressors wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of despised love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office, and the spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make,
with a bare Bodkin?
I'm not As surprised that I still remember the second one, cause it's "newer", anyways, enough usage of the keyboard for now, XD
EDIT: I finally editted my siggy to display the names of the Clans I'm part of,
Trying dealing with a teacher whose obsessed with the Holocaust, and you have her for three years straight for English class.....and she does the same thing every year........it's enough to drive one insane....
Yeah, I can see why that would suck.... I just started learning about William Shakespear in English and I have a feeling that this is going to go on for the majority of the 5th six weeks..... (If you don't know what six weeks means, it is what my school district uses for measuring how long we go to school for each year... There are 6 six weeks in our school year, and we get a report card each set of six weeks.... But hey, you may already know about it, or it is used in your school but for people that don't know what that means, well here it is...)
