The Review Room.

I think it was meant to be for the member middlemen things...although we never did choose those did we? =/

Obviosly, you submit game reviews there. but since people are lazy theres minimial posts.

Erm...sure? xD

It's for the member middlemen discussions. Obviously not much has been done about it since there are currently no member middlemen. But then again....it's been pretty stable these days, no?

Lol it's amazing how so many members have no knowledge of the Review Room...

And I really doubt it's gonna happen anytime soon...=/

I guess the idea has died. It was a good idea though but it's probably better to have middle men when the site gains more popularity. (If it ever does. ;_; )

The Member Middleman idea is and was always made of utter fail.
No issues it was supposed to solve will be solved, because it's equally easy to ignore one person as it is ignore a topic.
If a topic goes unanswered in the Suggestions forum, it means the idea is either made of fail or the admins with the required power is busy.

This isn't a democracy either, so there's no need to issue a delegation of senators charged with the compilation of suggestions or other such fancy sounding shit.

The only part of this forum where suggestions hold a lot of weight is in the RPG, and AFAIK there's a whole section for that and the RPG mods are keeping it under control.

So why, pray tell, should this be added again?

I do believe this deserves fair trial, but I'm far from opposing its entire removal if it serves no good purpose after a month or so.

I'll be prompting the remaining staff members who have not voted for the middle-men to do so ASAP, so we're ready to incorporate the idea when an admin is free.

Purpose of the forum? For chosen delegates to bring forward issues which other members would like raised, and brought personally to our (the staff) attention. Apparently the existing threads generally get ignored.

It's not like I'm opposed to letting the members say what they think, by all means.
What I am saying is that if admins do not have time (*cough* or the required permissions */cough*) to even attempt to implement and/or fix anything (*cough* avatar problems */cough*), then what difference does it make if it's being posted in this forum or the Review forum?
Sod all difference, is what.

There's not THAT many suggestions being posted, and issues can only be solved by specific parties (this most likely meaning root administrators, or maybe just someone with access to Usergroups - I haven't had a chance to investigate the avatar problem due to the fact that I have no access anymore).
