Here's the friends thread, a place for all of those who wish to brake the bounds of hatred and replace them with pure ties of friendship. The first "Friend's Thread" was left to die and now only the ashes of its former nobility remain scattered through the wind.

Now I establish a new Friend's Thread, to honor those memories of true friendship.

i think friendship lasts as long as you cherish and appreciate it if you forget your friends you dont have a friendship
 
No it doesn't last forever. I learned this recently because one of my mates has just generally been a prick over the last month or so.
Anyway, because people change you can't always stay friends with them.
 
Yes, friendship is in fact one of the most important things in the world. It depends on each person's point of view.

I say that friendship lasts as long as you trust each other and above all else, if you learn to forgive each other's mistakes.
 
Friendship can last forever if you know how to treat it. I don't have too many best friends, but the ones I do have I can tell everything too. I love them. =D

Althought some people do change. =/. When that happens you really have no control over it.

Anywho, I say that when people change and stop being your friend, they were not really your best friend in the first place. At least that's what I think.
 
if they are willing to backstab you the second things get harsh they cannot be called a true friend

The way I see it, everything in this world or any other happens for good reason. Bearing ties with people, no matter how close or distant they are, can change your very life even if you don't realize it. Every person you stop and talk to will have some form of impact upon you.

There is such a thing as friendship. A bond exists between yourself and the people you know, even if you hate their guts. The more people you know, the larger your web of friends becomes and the faster you'll be able to catch more friends in it. Obviously, the closer the bond between you and a particular person, the closer friends you two are. Trust with and loyalty to that person can alter everything in your future. Ever tried to imagine what life would be like if you never met so-in-so? It'd be a helluva lot more different than you think.

Friendship does indeed last forever, whether it is realized or not. A web of friendship cannot be broken by arguing and bickering and the fact that you haven't talked to some of these people in years. You are bound to run into that person again in the future, whether the situation is a good one or not. Even if you had an argument with that person years ago and vowed never to speak again then, you will still stop to greet him/her and ask how he/she has been dealing with life.

...sorry if this seems really out there. I really have no idea whether half the stuff I said made any sense. :|
