I know they weren't really childhood friends but was hoping it was a few weeks so I could write a little fluff piece of them getting to know each other properly before he left, but oh well I''ll think of something.

Hmm what I like about Cloud and Tifa... where to start...
Just like to mention I've only played the game so that's all I know them from, will get around to seeing Advent Children at some point soon I hope.

Their love was built on a strong friendship and I really like that.
I like how they both crushed on each other at different times, Cloud on Tifa's as a kid and then as adults it was the other way around. I love how even though they weren't really close as kids, a really close bond of friendship grew between them in game and how they were always there for each other and that deepening into something more. Tifa's devotion to Cloud after he got so messed up with his memories even though he never really became soldier was seriously sweet and aww inducing. Then them finally realising their true feelings in the lifestream and knowing that they may be alone in the world, they weren't really cause they had each other. And their shyness with each other, is seriously cute. I can totally see Cloud trying to ask her out and stammering and blushing and stuff.
There is something seriously sweet about two such shy people falling in love though I bet it'd get a bit frustrating on the communication front for Tifa.

Oh man, I love this couple for SO many reasons! Well, instead of writing like a 6 paragraph essay, I'll simply say their the best canon pairing in all of FF imo. ^^

Why do I love this pairing?
It started back when I first played the game back when I was a kid. When Tifa asked Cloud if he remembered their promise to each other, I was almost certain that they at least had feelings for each other. As the game progressed I became more and more certain of it. However, when Tifa helped Cloud regain his memory, I was absolutely sold on the pairing. Like a few other people have said, I was unaware for years that there was any sort of debate on who Cloud was with, given how the game had played out. However, a few years ago, I was looking around online when I stumbled upon a plot anaylsis for Advent Children. Curious, I read it. Near the end, there was a section about the "Love triangle debate" and I was confused, I didn't really think there was one. So I decided to replay the game, and since I was older, I understood the story more, and as a result, I fell in love with the CloudXTifa shipping. Today, they are now my favorite pairing
Is that good enough?

I guess I can explain in detail why I like this pairing more than any other in the series now. ^^;

Well, to start off, their relationship is unlike any other one, in that they're officially together, but Square won't come right out and admit it like all the other couples, which is maddening but I like it at the same time. Their relationship is also the most beliveable one imo too because it didn't suddenly happen out of no where or seem forced!

Cloud's feelings started out as a childhhood crush that matured into his main driving factor in life over time, and Tifa didn't even really know him at first, but due to him saving her and doing the romantic thing of trying to grab her attention by calling her out on the well, she started to get really strong feelings for him too! ^-^

Over the course of the game, I absolutely love how their feelings for each other is very subtle, it added to the story, but never became the main focus or distracted from the main plot. The whole fake persona and confusion of Tifa was also a really unique thing that the writers added to their relationship, which is really unusual compared to other pairings, but it worked and worked well in this case. ^^

And omg the date scene! As a proud Tifa Cloud shipper I ALWAYS get that scene on every playthrough. It's so heartwarming and cute how shy Tifa gets around Cloud! It's so different from when she's strong and cheery around everyone. I get red in the face with all the blushing from that one scene alone. There's also the really sad times on the Gaea Cliffs where Cloud was having his mental breakdown and poor Tifa seemed so distraught. I really connected with her in those scenes.

Even after waking up from a week long coma, one of the first things she thought about was Cloud! <3 And who can forget the Lifestream moment. It was like their best scenes together and speaks volumes about how much Cloud and Tifa care about each other. Yep, this will forever be my favorite FF pairing forever and ever. <33

I'm currently at that part in the game, where Tifa stays with Cloud in Mideel. It's heartbreaking when she finds out Cloud is missing, where she bends down to the little dog, and starts talking.

"You got lost didn't you? Separated from someone you love...? Silly thing..."

It's like she's describing her own feelings. And then she hears the guys talking, and she sprints up to them. I always want to get to the town right away, just 'cause I don't wanna have her suffer. I'm a turd. Although I also love how she's a playable character. This woman is respectively and and admirable example of hardcore girl power! ♥

Updated my tumblr too, and added our fanclub link to it. I'll be working up some Cloti icons soon, I think. I'm way in the mood for them again. xD ♥

I always have loved that Tifa cares so much for Cloud and his overall well being, even if at times he makes himself distant from her. When I first played through the, I loved all of the scenes that involved them interacting with each, and I remember siitting in the jail cell in Shinra talking to her again and again and again, just so that I would, without a doubt, go with her on the date in the Gold Saucer Ive been busy lately, however I have decided that I will play through VII so I can remember all the scenes that even hint at Cloti. Would hand drawn pictures be accepted into the Gallery?

It would be. I would place it under GFX because that is actually made my "our" graphics artists. Gallery is more for photobuckets or deviantarts we found on the net from other people, that are dedicated to Cloti. xD

I'm still replaying Final Fantasy VII from back when I started last year in November. @.@ I'm currently at Mideel as I said before, I take really long pauses in between, but I'm determined to finish this playthrough for once! I always start over and then stop after a while, but I really wanna play it in full experience again. Love this game so much.

Any questions about CloudxTifa that you guys want our members to answer are more than welcome, or suggestions, or just pure Cloti talk on it's own. Cute story ideas maybe. I'm considering writing small prompts, it's been ages since I wrote a fanfic. I'm rusty as hell. xD
