In the year 2058 the world is bordering on the brink of oblivion. Humankind has destroyed it’s own civilisation and life as we know it was slowly coming to an end as everything humans built returns to dust. However, there is one light of hope in the world, one building which stands to defend what humans remain alive. Over the years humans celebrated these people, treating them as gods among men for their ability to make them well again, this however was no hospital and as the years passed, strange things began to occur.


Pieces of corpses began to appear and humans slowly became insane, uttering gibberish, trying to kill their own shadow or simply hiding away in dark corners. In the year 2068, one decade after oblivion the humans were met by a new evil. Reports began to appear of humans turning into monsters, or more specifically, demons. They all had one thing in common, they were treated by the healers, however when the humans tried to question them the building had vanished and so the humans were left to die...


In the year 2070 a specially built demon resistance force was established. This resistance force was especially built to slay their former human comrades, those who turned to kill their fellow man.

Notes

Humans are the more well rounded types, able to take on most challenges with varied efficiency
Demons are the best built for combat, can even work together like a wolf pack and have the ability for speech. Their intelligence easily surpasses a human, but they have fewer numbers.

Demonisers are a secret race of beings which are said to be even more powerful than humans and demons. However, nothing is confirmed. If you want information regarding this particular race (demonisers only) then send me a PM and i’ll answer your questions.

Physical description

Humans... I doubt I need to go into detail on how a human looks XD varied skin colours, height can vary between 4ft and 6ft on average, capacity to learn is their greatest strength but are easily corrupted by greater power unless they have great will.

Demons are built to the same structure of a human, but have their own differences. They can be as small as 3ft up to a massive 15ft, though the giants of the demons have the lowest intelligence but have a great ferocity that can strike fear into the hearts of even the most courageous warrior. Their teeth are razor sharp and can tear through flesh like a knife through butter; they possess weapons on their body such as blades, claws, hammers and so on and can be comfortably put away without effort.

Their bodies are built with bone on the outside as well as inside but have a tough exterior that is incredibly difficult to break with conventional weapons, their flesh, while tough is vulnerable to these conventional weapons. But the bigger the demon, the more armour that covers it. The greater the state of evolution can also increase a demon’s destructive capabilities, making them harder and harder to kill.

Demonisers are a pasty white people wearing robes very similar to that of a Monk or Nun. They have males and females but are difficult to tell apart, barring their voices. They are unmatched in futuristic weaponry and are the most intelligent beings in this world, but are not strong combatants so instead they use their knowledge of traps to defeat enemies without a direct confrontation. They also have a power similar to demons, though this is somewhat more concentrated and allows them to switch between human and demon at will however their demon forms are weaker than that of a pure demon.

I'm trying for the demon leader.

Name: Amelia

Race: Pure Demon

Gender: Female

Allied: Demons (Leader)

Age: 24 at time of turning.

Personality: Firstly: Amelia is cold and calm, even in the most hopeless of situations. She constantly remains calm for one reason; so as not to show any weakness. For this reason, she frowns on public displays of emotion too, seeing it as a despicable human weakness that must be kept behind closed doors. This makes for an intimidatingly cool demeanour, and Amelia likes this image of unshakeable strength to be the Demon Leader her allies and enemies alike believe in.

Secondly, Amelia is highly elitist, believing that demons are the true master race, being given "bodies of power" and "souls of fire." Because of this, to her, all other races are insignificant, and exist solely to serve or be destroyed. Humans are spineless worms who destroy their world and themselves, and demonisers are vile hybrids who do not deserve liberty or equality. Amelia's ultimate goal is to see the demons rise to power, above all other forms of existence.

However, Amelia possesses a personality flaw: Pride. She cannot back down from a challenge, and is often quite reckless when she wants to be, or on those rare ocasions when she loses her temper. This can be detrimental to her and her army, but when this happens, she usually realizes what she has done too late for the problem to be remedied. This is her ultimate foil.

However, when she is in sound, cool mind, Amelia is highly intelligent, one of the most intelligent of all the demon race, and on par with the demonisers. She is an excellent strategen, able to create complex and near foolproof plans for reconnaisance missions and direct battle alike.

Finally, Amelia is judgemental, not at all hesitant to execute those she see's as weak or lessr, even if they are her own people. The Demon Leader is also extremely sadistic, takin pleasure in pin, partiularly when bloodlust and her demonic instincts rise to the fore. This culminates in a formidable, powerful Ice Queen.

Appearance: At five foot five inches, Amelia is small in demonic and human standards, and quite human in face, hands and feet. She is unusually pale, with dark, blood red eyes, and prominent, protuding veins. She has a round, hard face, seeming as though it were carved from marble. She can grow her teeth at will, and sharpen them to use for biting and tearing in battle.

Also, she can grow claws in her hands and feet, by extending the nails. They are roughly the size and shape of rapiers in this form, and they are removable, allowing her to grip it as a human would a sword.

Underneath the black, ankle length dress she wears at all times, Amelia is much more demonic in appearance, with a hard, white, exoskeleton that is as hard to shatter as steel. It would take a lot to pierce through. However, she has a weak spot in her stomach that a sword would easily pierce.

Also, Amelia is quite deceptively thin. In reality, her grip could shatter human bone, yet her wiry frame allows her to perform acrobatic feats that a human would require years of training to master.

Weapons: Her teeth, extendable from her mouth, are excellent for piercing and tearing. Her claws are also removable and able to be used as swords or used while connected to her hands. They are, as mentioned above, able to be used the same as a rapier, as they are of the same sharpness

Attire/Armour: Her black dress and natural armour mentioned above.

Magic: Amelia possesses powerful fire, wind and dark magic:

Incendiary Tactics: Amelia can set inanimate objects and weak humans alight with a single thought. This fire is only quenchable by magical means and the burns are slow and difficult to heal

Twister: Amelia briefly whips up a six foot tornado, intended to launch the target into the air. This allows for more complex combinations if it succeeds in lifting the target off the ground.

Dark Beams: Amelia can launch concentrated beams of dark energy from her hands. This requires concentration for the more powerful beams and is quite tiring in the long run. However, she can fire many rapidly.

Magical Shield: Amelia forms a violet shield around her that can absorb two magical attacks or reflect one.

Rift: Amelia can open portals as she wishes, to bring invading demons to their destinations.

Teleportation: Amelia can teleport to a specific person or place she has seen/been to before.



Background: A pure demon, Amelia was one of the first to become ill, and the first taken into the facility that injected those inside it with the demon virus. However, a flaw was that as she was the first subject to be tested, her testers had no idea how much or little a dose was needed, and as a result, was overdoed on the demon virus, burning all her human DNA and memories away. Because of this, she was imprisoned in a large freezer, where she went into hibernation (see weaknesses) and reamined so for close to a decade, until the healers disappeared, and she was found and released by a lesser demon.

As a pure demon, with no humanity remaining to her, Amelia can be considered superior to the other demons in strength and mind. She was assigned a leadership role because of this quality. It was she who started the demon-human-demoniser war, by ordering attacks on humans.

Weaknesses: In sub-zero temperatures, Amelia's body anturally goes into hibernation, rendering her helpless.

These demons are all different in appearance, and none need words.


Gender: Male


Age: 25


Appearance: He has a black exoskeleton that is very hard and tough. It has a slight but not too bright shine to it that reflects direct light only. The exoskeleton makes him appear to be thin and boney, but the bones are all on the outside of him. He appears to have eyes on his head, but they do nothing and he sees with the eyes on his shoulders, so to allow wider vision and better peripheral sight. The exoskeleton also makes it seem like he is wearing satanic armor on his shoulder. His legs greatly resemble his arms as well. Having black claws, he has a four fingered hand, there is no thumb. His feet have two claw like structures going forward and one going backward. He seems to have hair coming out of the back of his exoskeleton, but in reality these fibers are actually his intake of oxygen. His wings are of a transparent membrane with veins going through that also take in oxygen, but the membrane is very flexible and tougher than Nylon so that it doesn't tear easily. What exoskeleton grows over to the wings membrane transports the Oxygen to his heart, located in the middle of his chest. Over all he stands at 6'4".

Personality: He never really speaks, only because he never has to. Nor does he start a fight, but he almost always will finish it. He is the guardian of the 4th ring of hell so he is no push over. He has a great temper and only retaliates to fight, he would never be pushed into making a fight or delivering the first blow. He keeps true to his oath as the guardian of the 4th circle and also maintains much nobility...He is not much for social events or even
and form of socializing. He will only speak when spoken to and he only speaks when it is beneficial or important.

First Impression: At first site he is exactly what he appears to be. He is a ferocious demon of cataclysmic appearance. He can make anyone be struck in fear when they see him, causing the cowardly to almost literally shit their pants. The brave would be slightly intimidated, but they would not be scared enough to run. Some could fight depending on their own bravery (Intended to be so most actually do have the courage to fight)


Strength: His physical strength is very easy to surpass in force, but due to his extremely rough and hardened exterior, his punches can seem harder than they really are, but this is only on the surface. His punches could cause internal bleeding (Bruises) but not very often, as it is almost always a surface blow, so if it makes any type of bleeding it is by breaking skin. Although, to break skin he would have to deliver a blow that was hard for him, causing it to be all his might.


Vitality: He has a physical barrier due to his exoskeleton being so strong. It would take massive force to break through this barrier. It is very hard to damage him physically. A blade would in fact be able to puncture his skin, but it would need quite a bit of force.


Speed: Not fast at all, these species never were made for running, so their speed is low and they cannot hold it long. They have a speed that can be matched by the average teenager. He runs about 9 miles an hour and can only keep it up for 16 minutes, but he never runs anyway. He will not run from a fight, as it is unlike him. If an opponent runs, he won't bother chasing. He can fly up to the cloud level but that's it. His forward flying speed is about 7 mph, as there is always the air resistance stronger in the air. Also he can only fly for 20 minutes before needing to land


Stamina: In battle, he can last 2o minutes if necessary before needing to rest, but he could keep going, just not as well. for a full out collapse of energy, he would have to fight for 30 minutes, but that usually won't happen


Reflexes: Normally he can dodge quite well if it doesn't require large movement. With this, he can almost always parry an attack if he is fighting another melee fighter, but when being hit by a ranged fighter, he could only dodge or parry if he could see the attacker. It is simple to sneak up on him as long as you are quiet, nimble, and stay out of his vision. Even his peripheral vision takes a second to process motion.


Fighting style: He uses his claws and his mild magic all in team and in unison for a fluid look of combat. He does not know his next move until he goes to do it. He also likes a good one-hit kill if at all possible so he aims for vital body parts such as the heart, throat, or the head, etc. But the enemy defenses are always ready to defend, so he pulls out harmless magic attacks that don't do any damage...literally


Weapons: His own black claws


Abilities: Flash magic

Luminescence: Flashes of light begin to come out of the ground of all various colors. The lights are very bright and dazzling, almost mystifying. They are a good diversion against the less intelligent.

Aura colors: His aura begins to change rapidly, and he becomes swallowed in all sorts of lights that are mainly purple and blue, but over all, every color is included.


Vision start: His eyes begin to change colors rapidly while glowing. they change colors going clockwise on the color wheel. When someone looks into the eyes, it is as if they are being hypnotized, and the eyes seem to glow. Of his abilities involving light, this is the only one that uses energy. He will feel his eyes get heavy as he continues it, and can only maintain it for 60 seconds. If he blinks, the ability is ended. The hypnotizing can easily be overcome by the victims will, but if not, they become a stand still target, incapable of defending themselves so long as he as the ability going. Once the ability stops, so does the hypnosis.


Mana coat: A shield of magic creating a blue aura grows around him. This aura allows no magical elements to hit him, it is reflected off of him through the concept of deflection, the magic will bounce off proper to the angle of contact. There is no magic that is an exception to this, but a single physical attack WILL break it. The barrier will only stay for .25 seconds, so it is very quick and must be summoned in an instant. It also takes energy to cast on him, after casting it up to three times he would feel heavy and out of breath.


Other light bases: He can do other light based attacks, but none of them are for anything other than distractions and they cause no harm, If I am asked to elaborate I will, but for now...


Magic: none really.


History: Once being man, he was changed into a demon, still very smart and fully intelligent for a human. However once he became ill, he knew it was almost over for him. He sat and waited for a death that never came. In his human life, he was a normal factory worker that had no real impact, he was easy to replace.

Sir Fratley however, just a few things to go over :hmmm:

First off, in this RP demons have the power of speech, so your character has the intelligence to speak at a bare minimum, basic human speech.

As these demons are man-made so to speak (humans turned into demons) they cannot be guardians of ANY circles of hell, nor can they speak to Satan :wacky: the age too, would need to be lowered considerably xD

Change as appropriate though, and he's approved :gasp:

Personality:
Claret is a rather difficult person to describe. On the one hand, she is your typical, everyday teenager who appears to have no other care in world but getting through each day, causing as much mayhem as possible in the process. Of course, most of this is to simply hide her feelings of her relatively short, but more than eventful past. She is usually quite vibrant and mischievous, someone many could possibly refer to as a scamp or a rogue. This naturally, cheeky charm is Claret’s biggest attraction as she uses it to break past barriers and gain the trust of others.

However, on the other hand, Claret has a terrible temper. This can flare up at any given moment with only a flush on her cheeks as a forewarning to the tirade coming on. She can be abrasive and rude, judgmental and just a little bit cattish in her remarks. However, these tempers dissipate as quickly as they appear, but have helped earned her the title of being ‘quite hot headed’. But out and out, Claret is a witty, charming thing with people’s best interests at heart. She had once worked only for herself, but gave up that selfish life to help the humans against the demons. Fighting for the underdog is more her style anyway. She has what some might call a potty mouth, in that she doesn’t care about the foul language that tumbles from her lips.

Claret demonstrates a great ability and need to control her external environment. She is incredibly extroverted, not really caring what others think about, nor about giving off good first impressions. Yet, social urges are more mature and fully expressed than people realize – friendships are incredibly important to Claret. She also manifests a strong urge to share and take part in serious and fulfilling relationships, whether these are romantic or platonic.

Xiong has a heightened sense of awareness of what is going on around her, perhaps greater than that of most she knows. Able to judge a target and their impulses, not to mention the ability to gauge their reactions, are just a few things the warrior is extremely skilled in. It is perhaps this, coupled with a natural ability in leadership that really brings her to the forefront.

Claret is not particularly fond of new beginnings, preferring to struggle through than to take the easy route and just start over. She is incredibly daring and loves a challenge, and can become quite aggressive when it comes to her creative notions and she believes that personal goals are sometimes the most important. Xiong is also courageous to the point of recklessness and will flare up at anyone if she feels they are going against her.

Xiong knows she has many flaws and is far from perfect, but she does what she can with what she has at her disposal.

Appearance:
With long, deep red hair and sparkling sapphire eyes, Claret is a strikingly pretty young woman - or so she is constantly told. Her deeps eyes are almond in shape, framed by thick and luxurious lashes. It is perhaps her eyes that are the defining feature of her face, for despite being human, her pupils appear to be slitted much like a dragon; thus earning her the title of The Dragon Warrior. Her skin has a very slight tanned look to it, almost a soft and creamy caramel in color. With her hair brushing her rear, she tends to wear it loose and flowing in a fashion that has it feathering slightly around her delicate face. Her lips are a pale cherry in color, full and womanly is just the right way that they accentuate her natural beauty.

Her voice matches her looks – a crystal clear clarity that could sing the birds from the skies and calm the wildest of waves if she so desired – yet she does not use it at her weapon. She tends to use it to calm her brothers and to soothe them to sleep. Her body is naturally slim though she works out to keep her muscles strong. Her bust is womanly, curvy and large, tapering perfectly into the rest of her body. Her skin is flawless, not a freckle or blemish in sight.

Although her appearance can seem a little intimidating, Clarets’ face shows the true softness of the young woman and at a nice rounded height of 5’9’’, Claret towers over her mother and her friends. Because of her height, Xiong has long; slender legs that, as the saying goes, seem got go on forever. Said legs flow nicely into her rear, which like the rest of her, is toned to what she believes to be perfection. Although, deep down, Claret feels there is so much more she could work on.

Weapons:
Omega Dragon Fans
Twin fans of differing color. The first is obsidian black, a silver dragon decorating in. The edges are also silver, etched with many different runes symbolizing the legendary beasts. The other is a rich, blood red, a golden dragon upon it. It too has runes along its edge. Both fans bear razor sharp edges, only noticeable when they are in their open state. These fans once belonged to a wealthy merchant. It was the one and only time in her life that Claret indulged in theft, but the fans had called to her, urging her to take them from that place. Believing some higher power was pushing her to do so, Claret stole the fans. Perhaps it is her affinity with all things Dragon that caused this petty crime; Xiong can never be sure. Since acquiring the fans, however, the Dragon Magics have increased in effectiveness.

Armour/Attire:

Claret’s attire consists of a pair of short, white skirt, a dark tan belt around the waist. A top matching the skirt covers her upper body, tight around her chest. It is more a long strip of material, wrapped once around her bust before going over her left shoulder creating a sort of sleeve to the elbow on that side. A similar sort of belt to that around her waist wraps around her torso, just beneath her chest. Though roguish in appearance, the outfit has a distinctly Chinese look to it, decorative flowers showing up it in the right lights.

Claret wears soft tan boots that reach almost to her knee and she tends to hide her fans within them. A fingerless, dark glove covers her right hand and a strip of material in the same color wraps around her left wrist and over the palm of that hand. She also dons a simple, earthy cloak when in the wilderness or simply traveling. This allows her to hide her form, giving her a more childlike appearance. The rest of her attire is made up by her armor, which she wears all the time.

Despite being a warrior, Xiong’s armor is light and versatile. A thin plate covers her left hip, looking more decorative than practical, though Claret is the first to admit that is offers more protection that first noticeable. The girl wears bracers around the top half of her arm, though these appear to be nothing more than simple armlets, that attach to similiar bracers around her wrist. They are, however, as hard as steel and incredibly effective at protecting her arms in close combat situations. The bracers covering her wrists each house three gems (one white, one red and one orange) which she uses to imbue her fans with her Dragon Skills.

To protect her head, a circlet; the design matching that of her hip guard. It was because of her run in with a highly skilled archer that Claret decided the need to protect her head was great. She also has guards over her shins, though these are not always on show as she switches between wearing them beneath and over her boots, though in either case, the metal covers the top half of her feet, making her kicks pack more than a simple punch.

Abilities/Magic:

Burst Speed - Through channeling pure Chi into her legs, Claret is able to move much faster for a very limited amount of time. This ability allows her to almost blink out of existence, appearing a short distance off from her original location. Because of the sheer amount of Chi, or internal energy, used to utilize this move, Claret cannot use it repeatedly without rapidly draining herself. Just two of these will leave her needing to sit and take a breather for at least ten minutes. Usually used as a desperation move to escape when all else fails.

Fighting Style - As probably expected, Claret is a master of the Dragon Style when fighting both with and without her fans. It is through this art that Claret trained her body and disciplined her speed over physical strength. Her hand attacks - though weaker than her leg attacks - are incredibly swift and because she focuses all her movements at her waist, dodging and blocking are easy movements for her to pull off. Xiong's attacks and movements link together, almost like a constant flow of energy. It is an effective defensive style for she is constantly moving her body, never giving her opponent an easy opening to capitalize upon.

Dragon Breath
- Calling upon the limited force within the red gems, Claret is able to imbue her fans with fire. The fans absorb this, giving them flickering embers along the entire weapon. Due to the strain this puts upon her, Claret can only maintain this for long periods of time if not forced to exert herself. If not exerting herself, this can be maintained for at least twenty minutes. However, having to utilize her speed or agility reduces this time by at least half. Burst Speed cancels this immediately. Also, forcing Claret to relinquish hold upon the fans will cause this to stop, leaving her exhausted from the sudden separation of weapon and energy channeling through her body.

Dragon Chill - Calling upon the limited force within the white gems, Claret is able to imbue her fans with ice. The fans absorb this, giving them a frosted appearance along the entire weapon. Due to the strain this puts upon her, Claret can only maintain this for long periods of time if not forced to exert herself. If not exerting herself, this can be maintained for at least twenty minutes. However, having to utilize her speed or agility reduces this time by at least half. Burst Speed cancels this immediately. Also, forcing Claret to relinquish hold upon the fans will cause this to stop, leaving her exhausted from the sudden separation of weapon and energy channeling through her body.

Also, forcing Claret to relinquish hold upon the fans will cause this to stop, leaving her exhausted from the sudden separation of weapon and energy channeling through her body.


Background:

Claret was born into a relatively wealthy family where anything she wanted, she got. Sure, many might have viewed this as a good thing, but the older she got; the more Claret came to resent it. At the age of ten, the tiny girl took to fighting as a form of rebellion against her parents. However, she soon came to realize that she was actually pretty good at it and it became more than a simple sideline for her.

As she reached her teens, Claret ranged her exploits further and further from her home. It was something she enjoyed, the thrill and tension as she fought to the point of exhaustion, adrenaline coursing through her veins like livewires.

Even though she knew that this life was not the one her parents wished for her, Claret could not help herself. She grew to love the attraction of anything daring and lost herself to the temptation every time. The flame-haired girl was a very natural warrior, her natural charm more often than not aiding her in getting the win. After a while, she tired of the area she was in and began traveling.

It was in the first year of her travels that Xiong encountered the archer who taught her the value of protecting her head. It was by sheer luck that the warrior had managed to turn her head just enough to receive cut along her temple. Claret knows even to this day, that had her head been turned even half a centimeter, that arrow would have claimed her life. The Circlet that now protects her head became an integral part of her armor from that day forwards.

Claret and the archer became traveling companions for a time, growing closer with each passing day. Three months later, Xiong had acquired the best friend she’d never had as a child. A deadly duo, there were few battles the pair were bested in. Until that one fateful day; the Archer lost her life to a monstrosity in the heat of battle. The beast had been aiming for Claret, but the other girl’s loyalty to her friend prevented it from ever reaching the warrior. The archer died in Xiong’s arms. Her final words; "It is not their fault... Dragon Warrior. They did not ask for this. They deserve Salvation. Be the one to deliver it to them..." etched the title and goal in life firmly to Claret.

Claret now steps up to the forefront of the war between Humans and what were once their comrades. With the dying words of the only friend she has ever known echoing in her mind, the Dragon Warrior will become their Saviour. The one to give them salvation and deliver them to peace... and in the process, discover the truth behind why these monstrosities were ever born to begin with.
 
Oh, by the way Damon, can my character actually be a pure demon, rather than a mutated human? It would coincide with her leader status

Edit: Since the demons in this RP are humans-turned-demons, there can't be pure demons, unless you explain in the history that you took on a higher amount of the demon virus which made you lose your humanity :hmmm:

Once we have at least one person in Human and Demon factions i'll probably start this :gasp:

Demonisers are going to be more in the shadows to begin with, so getting their positions filled is not as great an urgency compared to humans and demons, considering the latter two races are going to be more 'open' than the Demonisers are.

What's the power heirarchy in a fair fight? Could your average demon beat your average demoniser?
 
In terms of combat capabilities, in a fair fight Demons would come out on top, then Humans and then Demonisers.

Demons however are bound to elements and if you have a smart human who can take advantage of these (stuff like flamethrowers against ice demons, liquid nitrogen against fire demons or, in the later stages magic infused bullets) weaknesses, can have some advantage to at least exploit these weaknesses. (though physically, Demons are the stronger combat specialists)

Demonisers are the best all rounders with a giant focus in intelligence but are physically weaker than demons and humans, thusly they use traps and trickery over an actual fight (say, planting mines as opposed to a shootout)

Humans have to focus on their learned skills, anything from skills as an electrician to being an able hand with a rifle. Having a good mix of skills is their advantage, since they will be able to better use their terrain (there is no limit to what skills you have, as long as they are humanely possible to perform, but don't go mad at any rate)

Personality: Tries as hard as he can to get through each day, while under constant pressure from most people he sees to be the best he can be. He is not violent, but will yell if he needs to get a certain point across. When questioned about an issue, he is rather calm when he answers. If he is put under any form of pressure, he will snap because he can't handle being put "on the spot". He tries to avoid certain situations, but is ready to answer if he needs to.

Appearance: Has kinda short brown hair with sideburns. He stands at 6' and weighs about 155 lbs. He has a calm expression on his face, no matter what the situation is. When he looks at people, he always seems to scare people off. He has a scar on his arm from an accident during work one day (more explained in history). He has burns all over his body, so he covers them up with his clothing.


Weapons: Uses a longsword that he calls The Admiral. His father gave him that sword for his twelveth birthday, and he has had it since. Luckily, he has not had to use it. He wields this sword with both hands, to give him extra control. He sharpens the blade everyday, so when he has to use it, it will be as sharp as it can be.

Armor/Attire: Wears open-fingered gloves and long sleeved mail under his leather armor. has long black pants and thick shoes to protect his lower body. He wears a headband on his head and a belt to keep his pants up. He manages to keep the headband above his eyes by tightening it in the back.

Abilities/Magic: Water Breathing - Swimming in the lakes has improved his ability to swim and breathe easier underwater. He can now swim across a river in about ten seconds. He can hold his breathe underwater for about a minute and a half before having to come up for air.

Lock Picking - He has great hearing, which makes it easier for him to pick locks. With the right equipment, he can pick just about any lock he comes across. Some locks take longer than others, but he can figure it out.

Background: Ken was born in a small town. His mother died when he was young, so his dad took care of him. He always did what he was supposed to so that he didn't get in trouble. He did so much stuff and was so good that his dad got a sword for his twelveth birthday. After that, he started to become more of a bad kid. He got cut on his arm while his dad was showing him something. Two weeks before his seventeenth birthday, there was a bad fire at his house while he was out. He ran inside when he saw it, trying to save his father who had passed out. He was unable to do so, and received burns all over his body. Before he left the house to escape death, he grabbed his sword and ran out before the worst happened. On his seventeenth birthday, he decided to leave his town and go search for some work. He took his sword and headed out. He purchased some clothing to cover the burns and some cheap armor with the little money he had from his dad. With everything he was going to need, he headed out in search of a place to work, because all the jobs in his town were taken up already. There were some people in town that had a strange aura about them. Upon further investigation by Ken, he found out that they were the ones that set the fire on his house and killed his father. Since then, he had a grudge for them, but has been unable to find out who was the one that actually started the fire and who were accomplices. He hides that fact by saying he is looking for work and does not want to say why he is really leaving.

Are you sure you don't want to have any skills? It's really your only advantage on a demon :hmmm:

General bio is fine really, although (and this is more a way to better develop the character than something that needs adding) maybe add a little part about the demons? Or perhaps the effects of the past decade or so?

If you don't want to change things and you're happy with the way things are though, say so and it's approved :gasp:
 
Ok, it's fixed, and I am happy with what I have on it.

I added a little touch on my history about demons, just to help out a little.
