You'll have to use the debug code while creating his sim.

ctr+shift+c then type in boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true

Then shift + N in create a sim to enable the debug options in there for the outfit and shift + M when you're done to turn the features off. Change true to false to turn debug off for the game. Also type it exactly as I have it posted or it wont work.

So, I have two ideas I came up with last night.

1. IF I can get these custom outfits and such to work, i'm going to add them in. So if anyone has a certain request of outfit to wear (Jess is wearing Rinoa and Damon is wearing Squall, obv. XD), tell me and I'll see if I can find it on Modthesims.com

2. There is also the slight possibility that I will be getting the Sims 3 for christmas, so if this is true, I'll be holding this until i get it, then I'll get started on it.

i'll post beside everyone's names at the top what costume, if any, they chose to wear. Bear in mind, I have yet to use mod files, so I don't know how successful I'll be at it. :gonk:

If mods are possible and a ghostbuster one is available then I'll have that.

Argor, So far, I've yet to find a Ghostbuster outfit mod, but I'm still looking. :gasp:

For the outfit you just need to do the debug mode code. It should have one there since one is already in game for the ghost exterminator. To install mod files it should be as simple as clicking the file. They should be self installing. If needed I can reinstall the sims 2 and mess with it.
 
This certaintly sounds fun <3 But I'm not exactly sure what you're supposed to do... I could try if someone dumbed down the explanation... =3
 
Yeah, the last one pretty much came to a halt because I signed up for survivor and couldn't post any more vids during that time. :gonk: Which is why i'm starting it a bit earlier so I can post more videos before the next Survivor.

Okay, it's confirmed: I'm getting The Sims 3 for christmas. Only problem: There aren't that many costume mod files yet for the 3, like the ones that are requested so far. So, here's your choice:

Sims 2 with mod files
or
Sims 3 with no mod files? :gasp:
 
I don't mind.

Whatever you'll have more fun with will suit me. You could always change the costumes we wear when more mod files become available, right?

The Sims 3 can only let you have one household to play at a time. Therefore, if I were to include you all, I can't play Sims 3. :Gasp:

Plus side: I can use the mod files...IF I CAN GET THEM ALL TO WORK. :rage:
 
I'm gonna see if I can talk Mitsuki into this as well since me and her kicked it in the last house we were in together, but definitely put me down for this .Kairi!

Costume? Hmmm, can ya give me like a Vanilla Ice lookin' character? haha if it's possible. :P
 
Let me know if you need help with mod files. But if you get them off of the sims site they should come as install files which you just run and then load the game.
