the other day i allowed my little 8 year old cousin play on final fantasy 9, i have two saves one where i have to defeat kuja and just kept it to max everything out and another one just for fun, so anyway i allowed me cousin to go on my second save while i had to go to the shops for my mam ( i think u can guess what happened) the little runt saved over me good save with over 150 hours of game play..... so i killed him.
:holyshit:
what i want to know has anyone else gpt these types of relatives who ruin everything you have done on a game???

My brother.

There is 7 years between us so he used to drive me mad when we were kids. He always had to do what I was doing and even broke one of my mega drve games because he used to pull the cartridges out with out turning it off EVERYTIME. Other than him I have been quite lucky because Im one of the youngest anyway, one of my cousins is over 40 - so it was just the brother really :monster:

Little bastard :stare:

Oh and unlucky, it's bad enough when I do that myself by accident never mind if someone else did it. I think id be going to jail for a very long time

Since this can be any game or system, I'll go ahead and move this to Rocket Town. ;)

And something similar happened just a few days ago. I let my daughter play my Nintendogs and the first dog that I had there who was trained and everything...she had accidentally managed to donate her! >.> And of course, the game saves automatically by itself so there was no way of retrieving her back.

my brother, 6 years between us... i think... on 3 occasions since feb he has deleted my 100% complete pokemon leaf green file, my 100% complete ffX file and about 2 weeks ago i got to about 95% on FFX and bang come home and its gone

Both of my siblings have saved over my PS2 game saves just to get back at me when i have annoyed them, their both older so i can't kill them :'( and as for my cousin i don't let him go on my PS3 just in case he does the same

My brother hijacked my Gameboy and released my starting six pokemon into the wild via the PC a few years ago on Pokemon Red. Dirty bastard.

What an underhanded move. It wasn't an innocent mistake. I did something to piss him off, so he formulated some twisted plan of revenge. Didn't think he'd take it THAT far. lololol

Kinda backwards thing here. I pissed my sister off and accidentally hit her with a dart from my dart gun. Next day, my Sapphire version disappeared. I don't use my dart gun anymore :(

Exactly my story!! xD
Just he erased my Zelda save data in revenge =(

But why i have more are cousins that take my games without my permission; i've to go to get them back 'cause they didn't even say that they've it.

Ohh I remember when I was with my ex, who is older than me and should know better...anyway, I was playing FFX on the PS2, and I expect he would have been on the PS1 because I obviously had the PS2....and he got up after finishing what he was doing and TURNED THE PS2 OFF

I just twitched abit and told him off.....the second time he did it I went abit mad 'YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN, YOU STUPID FUCKING IDIOT!!1!1!!' And was in a mood with him for the rest of the day

My sisters don't understand games, the amount of times they go over my data... :stare:

So nowadays I never let them on my PS3 (I password lock it so they can't get on :wacky:) and if they wanna go on the ps2... I take the memory cards out... Tough shit if they hate the beginning, you can't cure incompetence. :gasp:

I can't actually stand my little sister or brother going on my PSP, I'm not really fussed about them going on the PS3 because all they ever want to go on is Kingdom Hearts II but on the PSP I have a habit of just switching the switch on the side so I don't have to save it and fully shut it down etc...however, they have a tendency on switiching games which means I have to start from where I last saved and not from where I want to quickstart from >.>

One of my friends accidentally deleted one of my other friends files on his PSP. It was an imported version of Initial D: Street Stage and my friend claimed he could read Japanese (lol)

I'm an only child so i dont have to worry about my games being sabotaged by younger (or older) siblings. But i do have to worry about my jackass friends :P
I guess i started it lol My friend would finish a game and i would copy the data onto my card and erase it off his. He would freak out because he would think that his memory card wqas screwed so he would go and get another one. Needless to say he went through alot of memory cards. I would then proceed to put the game saves on his new memory cards and he would be like wtf!?!?!?
Then suddenly my game saves started to dissapear and i thought that my memory cards were screwing up. So i went and bought some new ones And my old game saves were on there plus some new ones with the character names changed to NOOB, ASSWIPE, etc etc...
Now it's like a game xbetween us it's gotten to the point were we hide our memory cards :P

I let a friend play my Crystal Version many years ago during a visit to their apartment (My mother was visiting his mother, so I actually had little to do with him) when I was up to a fight with Lugia. I lent it to him, and told him not to save, unless he actually caught Lugia, as he had nothing to do, so I just admired the view. 30 minutes later, we had to leave, and on the way home, I realised that he had failed to catch Lugia, so he KO'ed it and then saved. Great.

Hahah - little cousins.

My younger cousin is ten and he's never grown out of this need to play a "team" game on the playstation. He hates the thought of battling anyone else, despite being better at most games than the majority of his friends. He holds true to this necessity and this limits the games we can play if he ever visits - it comes down to Harry Potter or Crash Bash, really.

My lil' cousin was running around like some sort of loon and he stood on my memory card :| hours and hours of data lost i nearly cried, i had to start all my ps2 games again including FF X, XII and Disgaea which was over 1200hours easily.
