Namco’s announced they’re making a new Tekken 3D movie -- Tekken Blood Vengeance which will be releasing in summer 2011.

They’ve also released the first teaser trailer for the movie. You can watch it below:

 
Yeah After seeing this I thought no way is it going to fail hard like the live action Tekken movie. Although I am too big a fan of Tekken because I found the latest Tekken did not last long for me. I like that they re going to create an cg film though. This is what they should have done with street fighter and the like. The live action films were painful to watch.. Not that i watched them all. Anyway I hope to see Asuka Kazama in this film :ryan:.

So we are going see a cheap version of DBZ movie only its called tekken and its in 3d and on top of that its going be a bunch of dudes fighting with no real story... Who thiniks this will be a crappy movie based off a game?

I don't and I wouldn't be so quick to judge it until you've seen the whole thing.

This looks quite intriguing. I've been a fan of the Tekken saga for as long as I can remember and it's nice to see they're putting together a CGI film together. The small snippet looked pretty good, I'm hoping it'll be just as good as the storylines in the games themselves.
 
I agree with Miyuki since the real live action movies always seem to suck, its better they make a CGI movie. I have always been a huge CGI fan because of final fantasy. Downside is the characters tend to feel like puppets/lifeless since its very dificult to have like 10 animations for the mouth and eyes especially..

Anyone knows Bloodlust: The Last Vampire ? Now imo THAT'S the best combo of animation. Anime characters with full CGI environments and backgrounds etc..

OT: Seems like one awesome movie. It might be better than the anime and will most definitely be better than the real live movie. Hope they focus more on the older chars though..
 
Tekkens story is pretty cool tbh but video game films always fail to impress even slightly. Money on it being better than advent children but still complete and utter garbage.
