Could have sworn there was a thread for this, but I couldn't find one anywhere.

Annnnywho, the next game in the Tales series finally released exclusively for the Xbox 360. Just wondering if anyone has the game or plans on getting it in the future. I'm enjoying it so far, but I'm beginning to doubt that it'll end up being better than Symphonia or Abyss. I'm hoping things pick up. The characters are pretty interesting, but the plot isn't doing much for me.

I read about this sometime ago and Im mega happy and excited for this. I love the Tales Of series and its nice to have more RPGs on the 360!

Yeah, I was excited when I learned it was a 360 exclusive. The game's picking up...and it's extremely long. I've played for roughly 23 hours this last week, and I've only viewed 37% of the skits while uncovering maybe a third of the world map. I'm not spending any time screwing around either. I've been moving throughout the story the entire time.

I'd definitely recommend playing this one sometime...especially if you're a fan of the series.

For the UK? Uhm...I'm not sure. Let's give google a look-see.

Most of what I'm seeing says the UK version won't be out until 2009. Yikes. I wonder how it could take that long...

I WANT THIS GAME!

Seriously, I download the demo and it's pretty good! The battle system is pretty cool. Kinda like a 2D battle but still 3D. This game is definitely on my games-to-get!

I had a look at a site Scrubator (sp lol) gave me and sadly I cant import it as theres no version other then UK one that will play on a PAL 360 lol.

I don't have a 360, so I can only play it while I'm at a friend's house, until I get my own, and it's really good so far. I love the characters and the animation is outstanding.

And on a review that I watched on IGN, they said it's a reaaallly long game, so I don't doubt that you guys have done a lot and there still being a lot to go. XD

The game's definitely huge. I have over a hundred hours put in, so I'd say I've completed a large portion of what the game has to offer.

There's a lot of stuff that can't possibly be completed until your second play-through (the secret EX Dungeon, for example).

I finally got an XBox 360 and received this game as a gift. I haven't played it yet, but I've played Tales of Symphonia from Gamecube and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have no doubt that this game will definitely be worth it.

Von, for awhile you got me worried there. =P So now the characters and plot are picking up, eh? That's good. As long as the storyline is really interesting and the characters are developed enough, then I'm happy. Anyway, I'll leave a more thorough feedback later.

Tales of Vesperia sure was a great game.
Yuri was the first Tales Main who wasn't an adolescent boy looking to save the world.
The storyline really is awesome but not on par with some of the other Tales games. Some of the characters don't develop as much as other games and the villains seem kinda added on at times.
I was pissed that Zagi never got a backstory!

Anyways despite all these cons its still a great game with an amazing battle system. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a good 360 RPG

Its due out in the UK soon, but they keep changing the damn release date. First its June 6th, then its June 26th! I mean, make up your mind. Thats a pain as Im paid before June 6th, but then if its not out till June 26th, I don get paid till 28th June lol. I want to import it so badly, but sadly it wouldnt work on a PAL console. Ive checked everywhere and still nothing, *cries*

Yuri was the first Tales Main who wasn't an adolescent boy looking to save the world.

idk man, luke was just a crying suicidal emo faggot until endgame, i dont think he even half gave a crap about saving the world :monster:

I'm also pretty sure that Reid (US - Tales of Destiny II aka Japan - Tales of Eternia) only came along because his gf begged him to come along on their journey :elmo:

I'm not sure about Cress, but I know his character pretty much rooted from wanting to dish some Divine Retribution. Been ages since I played tho, so I could be wrong. ;p

I still want to check the game out, but the only friend I have with an xbox 360 thinks that rpgs are gay and refuses to rent it lawl.

Bit of a necro-post, but Tales of Vesperia was put on the Games on Demand shop for £20 a week or so ago. Just a heads up!

I haven't actually played this game, nor do I have a 360, but I've been told ToV was worth buying an Xbox for. So I priced it up, and used copies of this game are selling for ~£70. Then I happened to stumble on a forum post somewhere the day after it was made available for download! Saved me a lot of money!

Well I live in Australia and Tales of Vesperia never came out here :rage: so I had to import it from The UK (Take that Australia! I beat your system!)

Anyway, I haven't finished it yet but I have been playing it non-stop since I got it!! It's a really amazing game! Yuri is an awesome lead... probably one of the best leads in any game I have ever played (besides Zidane from FFIX of course ;))

The characters are all fun and quirky (besides Rita, I hate her) not so sure about the story yet... seems a little odd to me so far but it might pick up and even if it doesn't the game is still lots of fun so I'll forgive a bland storyline!

Loving this game a lot :D

I've been waiting for an english version of the PS3 remake of Tales of Vesperia to release. It's only available in Japan. I didn't find that out until I had spent an eternity trying to locate a copy online and in every nearby Game Stop. There's a whole new playable character, more story and items, and Flynn is also playable.

They say they're not going to bring it to PS3 (which makes me so MAD!!! GIVE ME FLYYYYNNNN!!! ><) I'm hoping for them to change their mind too, though. I want the school outfits and I want Flynn! <3

Apparently, Tales Of Vesperia Is An Xbox 360 Exclusive

It seems we won’t see pirate Patty or Tales of Vesperia on PlayStation 3. A Namco Bandai community manager in Europe casually mentioned on Facebook “Microsoft paid for exclusivity” for Tales of Vesperia. While the note was written back in April, RPG Site recently dug up the news.

Bummer. On the plus side two Tales games are heading overseas. Tales of the Abyss for Nintendo 3DS is slated for release this year. Tales of Graces f lands on PlayStation 3 sometime in 2012.

I loved Vesperia and the stroyline mainly for Rita mordio and Yuri and its a known fact for me that the main characters arent my favorites but Yuri is one of those few that I like xD however its not better than Abyss I would tie it with Legendia.
