I never said I was anti-console. I just love my PC. Plus, it's fact that PC's outperform consoles anyday of the week.

It simply isn't my fault that people are morons and would rather buy a console instead of a badass PC. If PC gaming were still on top, gaming would be more advanced than it is today. I think of consoles as road bumps in the way of gaming reaching further potential. :mokken:

That's often been my argument through the years, that console gamers dont possess the same hand-eye coordination of pc gamers :lew: since PC Gamers learn to play with the keyboard and mouse, consolers use a pad, so naturally you put a game between them, the PC gamer will always topside because they simply have better reflexes.

FPS on the PC requires skill, FPS on the console has a developer made aimbot, so naturally the PC gamer will play harder than the Consoller who has gotten used to the game doing things for them.

I generally think that in a sense, PC gaming may not last for so long. Not that I've nothing against it and all since I have some games on that format myself, but consoles are on much better power and they keep rising with each new one that presents itself.
 
What do you mean by "much better power"? Compared to top of the line PC's, Xbox360 and PS3's look like toys.

Also, with each new console, there are already PC's that out preform them.

Though, PC gaming is generally dead. Mainly because most people don't see the benefit. Also, they love the logic of buying a console for $500 instead of a uber machine powerhouse badass for 10k. (Even though it will last you throughout the next 2 generations of gaming. Quite possibly 3. :mokken:)
 
It runs on better speed, better graphics. Better overall. The power behind consoles nowadays is quite incredible. It's no surprise that consoles have overtaken PCs in the past couple of years.

No, no it doesn't. o_O Crysis, a PC exclusive game looks 5 times better than any game on a console. (That game was released in 2007) In fact, the sequel to this game, in order to be properly ported to a console had to be dumbed down. PC gamers were not happy about this.

For example, my computer, built in good ol' 2001 can still run games released on both consoles and PC. The only things I've done to it are putting in an extra stick of ram ($20) and a used video card ($50). Now, even with my shitty processor, I can still keep up with PS3 and Xbawkz games. I see no change in frame rate, and with mods, I can make the game look twice as good.

Consoles will never outperform a PC. :mokken: (Unless your PC sucks.)

I can see consoles becoming quite incredible in the next twenty years or so. I never thought they'd reach this height right now, let me tell you now.
 
And I will still be quite smug when a PC game is released at the same time and still looks and outperforms a console. Just because consoles are getting popular, doesn't mean they will ever be better. :griin:

You're almost implying that PC's never update. When over 20 graphics cards are released a year, when we have 6-core processors being released, when I can make a computer with 28 gigs of ram, if I bought that computer, I wouldn't have to buy a new computer for the next 25 years. I wouldn't even have to worry about updating. :yay:

At the end of the day, PC games may be rare, and consoles may get all the attention, PC gamers will have the upper hand in graphics, power, speed, and performance. :griin:

No matter what the console does, the PC will always be one step ahead, Console games will always be easier to work on and cheaper for developers to make, but PC's will always have that innovation and technology edge.

Afterall it REQUIRES a PC to code any game in the first place, without the PC the console simply would not exist.

:tighthug: Andeh your awesome. Anyways I am a huge fan of both PC and consoles games....and that is the extent of my opinion. :wacky: I am not one of those either or guys, I just like what I like. :busta:
 
Is this still the PC rant....... well i purchased my tower today and currently bidding on a 750W power supply, looking at a mother board on a CPU :hmmm: should have a half decent gamong PC by Christmas 2020 :mokken:
 
I wouldn't say it was a rant from me, more of a discussion.

I need to play more Pokemon. In fact, I need to game much more in general. Unfortunately, I sometimes just don't have the time I used to when I was younger. Oh, I miss those days. xD
 
I concur. It was more of a discussion, less of a rant, yet slightly a little bit of me being arrogant (and right :griin:). All in all, I like discussion in The Hideout. It's fun. :yay:

EDIT: Do keep in mind that you can't always take the things I say seriously. I'd say about 80% of the time. For example, I tell Jess she has a shit taste in movies and games all the time. Sure, I seriously believe that to be the case, but I'm usually kidding around. :D

Even if I am being a pretentious prick/arrogant bastard/son of a bitch about it. It's what I do, and I love doing it. :ryan:

I'm totally looking forward to Pokémon Black and White now. They're only letting you access the 150 NEW Pokémon until you get the national dex, which is cool, as it forces you to use the new ones! :yay:
 
I'd play PC games more, but my Internet provider has a very low download limit, or I'd be playing much more MMOs and the like. I have to settle for console stuff.
