[SU/D] Corinith

@Draco Malfoy
Everything is good. Welcome to the RP. If you don't mind, the government will probably give him a title such as "Anti-Citizen", due to his broadcasting. :gasp:

@Fleur
Very good question. Members of the resistance half two places of meeting. One is inside the city, which would be hidden below the mist. The other is outside of the city. It's underground in a mountain range. It's more or less a large series of tunnels that people that escape the city live in freely. The underground "city" is named Haven.

However, members of the resistance that are captured are never heard from again. Anyone that works with the Corinthian government (like anyone playing a scientist or a Grendarl) will be getting some TAWP SEECRIT information sent by PM to them. I don't want to spoil that to the general public. However, I think you'll like it. So, all in all, having a scientist character like the one you described is perfectly fine.

I look forward to reading it. :ryan:

I just realized I forgot to add this detail in, but I'd like to have my character's businessman father to be a secret sponsor of the Resistance forces. He helps fund some of their operations in order to secure some kind of protection for his own business. Strictly business dealings, and strictly confidential.

He would use my character to contact them. Is that possible?

That's fine by me.

I hope you don't mind Ringomeister, but my guy here found a way around the painful part of the augment implantation process. I hope it's alright because it shouldn't affect much. :monocle:

Name: Jung Teyu

Age: Undisclosed, but approximately in his late twenties.

Race/species: Human – Korean by lineage, although with what he has done to his body, he prefers to see himself as being a Necroform.

Appearance: Teyu hails from pure Korean ancestry and such, his facial features and physical complexion is distinctly oriental. At 5’6, he is certainly not a tall man especially in comparison with the rest of the Corinithian populace, but he is of average height when considering his lineage. His build is average, his shoulders slope downwards from his neck and his hair jet black. His hair is of medium length and slightly bushier at the back towards the neck, while at the front it is fringeless and obvious to see that it has been frequently and neatly combed. Slight bangs can be seen protruding downwards by the front of the ears, but they are short and hardly that distinguishable while the ears are relatively unexposed from the hair. The jet black hair is often said to look greasy in appearance, particularly with how it gleams in the light. What gives Teyu an intimidating factor are his eyes and the piercing and watching nature of the eyes. Despite hailing from Korean ancestry, his eyes are of a distinct grey-silver colour (for reasons that shall be explored further on) and the irises typically narrow.

Much has been done to Teyu’s body in terms of enhancements or other miscellaneous forms of modifications. One of the few known facts about Teyu is that his body is cold, as if he is a lizard without a warm bloodstream. A normal human’s internal anatomy has the standard temperature of 37 degrees Celsius except in moments of fever. Teyu’s body operates at approximately 20 degrees lower, and if someone were to touch a part of his body, it would feel like touching a corpse that has already been dead for a little while. His cold body however, can be visually detected in terms of just how pale the man is. Teyu is remarkably pale and white and to people’s misconceptions, he responds normally to sunlight though not to the mist, so whatever this condition appears to be to them, it does not appear to anything they have encountered before. Under the white suit however, hides Teyu’s body modifications. Both of his hands are artificial, though functions and resembles like normal organic ones. Half of his right arm is also artificial though hardly noticeable due to the sophisticated build of the implants.

Teyu predominantly wears white. His suit is entirely white with silver accents. His white suit blazer is zipped right up to the top to the point that it looks like the collar is intending to strangle the neck. The white is remarkably clean, bereft of stains or dirt no matter how much one attempts to dirty the material. That is because the material – of standard Utopia Foundation’s – is composed of a unique material found only on this planet and widely used by the Foundation. It can preserve cleanliness far more efficiently than any other material ever seen on Earth, so the need to wash it is fairly low. His trousers are of the same material and smart white colour, as are his low, flat leather shoes with the same silver accents. This attire is standard to the Utopia Foundation’s employees and looks very sterile. Seeing a whole crowd of Utopia employees, one would gain the impression that they were looking at a crowd entirely of androids just on the white look itself.

Personality: While not quite to the extent of the Grendarl Commander of the Civil Protection, Teyu rarely displays much when it comes to emotions, bar however, some sadistic delight whenever he realises that the very sacrifice of a foolish human – with its corpse on a dissection table right in front of him – has benefited the Foundation and his own goals. When he speaks, he has a monotone voice, as if incapable of varying his pitch whatever the situation. He prides in his android-like behaviour, showing no ability to act surprised, panicked and stressed in whatsoever circumstance they may be. Such nonchalance frightens many who then frantically discuss in frenzy among themselves whether this top scientist and researcher is in fact a cyborg and not a human.

If there is one thing that Teyu hates, is the need to constantly repeat instructions and information, particularly if it slows down a critical procedure. Teyu has very standards for Foundation employees, expecting them to always listen to his input and to execute an instruction exactly as he has dictated, else their position in the Foundation would be a very short tenure indeed. There is also the fact that Teyu distrusts a lot of the employees not only down to incompetence if they show that quality, but purely because they are human – and to trust humans according to him is sheer foolishness as explained below.

Despite being a human himself, Teyu distrusts his own kind and revels with amusement at how foolish humanity is and how blindly they are, sleepwalking into facing the same fate as Earth felt all those centuries ago. He is very fascinated in the former home planet of humanity. He studied Earth intensely in the past, engaging with insatiable interest at its lore and everything to do with it, from its fauna, its history and its geography. He learnt to see humanity as being nothing but harmful parasites that took a beautiful planet and tore it down to ruin – as they are also doing now on Corinith.

To that end, he refuses to call himself a human. He is, as he self-proclaims, an ‘enlightened’, who transcends the rest of humanity by recognising the race’s flaws and the need to stop them once and for all, as well as a Necroform. Being a scientist of a high rank at the Utopia Foundation – the planet’s largest pioneer and proprietor of modern technology of all sorts – he has access to a portion of the government’s vast resources of classified information. He has knowledge of who really runs the government and is collaborating with the Grendarl to see to it that humanity learns its place. He has no plans to overthrow anyone or take over the government at all and is perfectly content with his position and his faith in the Grendarl.

As a scientist, Teyu prides in his profession. As a front, he represents the Foundation to numerous meetings with corporative figures from all over the world and not just in the city. He presents the Utopia Foundation as the world’s leading developer and researcher of Corinithian technological prowess and as an institution willing to fund and invest in other smaller companies to do their bit as well for the betterment of mankind on this planet. In secret, Teyu wants no such thing – in fact, the opposite. There is no moral reason for any further betterment of humanity but rather, it has to deteriorate for humans to finally be rid of their sins. Without telling the Foundation what his real goals are, Teyu has managed to convince it to construct discreetly weapons supposedly to “crush the resistance”. Such weapons are enough to decimate an entire city if need be. A sadistic man, Teyu fantasises the moment when he can launch these weapons and watch the humans display their usual cries of fear and despair.

The CP often hands corpses to him so he can experiment with them in whatever way he so desires. The corpses are usually Resistance members – or ‘immoral fools’ as he calls them – and Teyu spares no ounce of delight in cutting them up or testing whatever implantations he has concocted onto their dead tissues. It is with this bloody and horrific method of scientific research that has allowed the Utopia Foundation to create its most useful technology, such as the augmentation system that people have actually paid to painfully have implanted onto their bodies. Teyu sees no moral issue with this kind of research as long as the end justifies the means. And besides, experimenting on idiotic Resistance members was a delicious sport to him. They have actually helped the Grendarl indirectly, ironically enough.

In secret however, Teyu does hold some ounces of typical human emotions. He feigns an emotionless act to cover up his actual self. He acknowledges that he has let his pursuit of research and knowledge twist his character into someone that has betrayed the human race. Deep within Teyu can see that he is a potential madman whose one real personal desire is to be loved. Surprisingly, despite his enthusiasm for scientific research on the outside, he considers his own Necroform self an abomination of science, who is often turned away by others. He therefore does seek a woman with whom he can find in her the one true person he can love and be loved.

Weapons: His hands, being sophisticated cybernetic implants, act as his weapons when vitally necessary. His right hand becomes a short blade capable of assassinating a target swiftly. Excluding his thumb, the fingers on his left hand becomes a hummingbird-sized laser pistol. Due to the very compact size of the hand pistol, the lasers don’t have terrific range – about 50ft at the most. The pistol shoots by flicking the available thumb. Teyu can charge the shot of the laser pistol – e.g. charging a shot for 10 seconds will produce a more powerful laser beam than if he did it after a single second – but if it’s charged too long there is a chance that he can blow his entire left hand off. A shot with little charge stuns the target at most, whereas a shot that has had a lengthy charge will undoubtedly kill.

Place of living:

kube-hotel-paris-1.jpg

As a wealthy scientist and researcher of a high rank in the prestigious Utopia Foundation, Teyu resides on one of the higher levels of the city, far above the white mist below. His apartment is situated right above a luxury hotel called the Vaudeville. Teyu furnishes his apartment to look like a hotel room for some undisclosed – or perhaps nonexistent – reason, albeit the apartment in itself looks very sterile in appearance. It is a single, though spacious room entirely clad in white. A touchscreen control panel is situated by the door that can control the many functions of the apartment, from the opening and closing of the slightly translucent white curtains to the descent of the bed. There is a glass sliding door that separates the bathroom facilities from the bed and the rest of the room, which can automatically be made opaque when there is an occupant.

The floor is of a beautiful white marble while furniture is also furnished with spotless reflective steel. When not in use, the bed is pulled by strong wires (using the touchscreen control panel) towards the ceiling and made more compact so that it becomes part of the ceiling, while other forms of furniture can be neatly be compacted and folded away. Even the bath can slide into an alcove in the wall to create more space. The lack of decorations, of paintings, pictures or anything at all on the walls help give the apartment its very sterile feel – one can’t really call this home, can they?

Occupation: Teyu is an executive figure of the research and scientific development Utopia Foundation. The Foundation itself is the most prestigious corporation in the world, due to the fact that it’s the greatest pioneer and developer of all forms of technology – from the Grav Lifts used mainly by youths on a daily basis to weapons of mass destruction secretly tucked away deep below. The Foundation now also funds projects proposed by smaller businesses, its spokesmen claiming that the mutual co-habitation and collaboration of different companies would be for the betterment of Corinith’s populace.

As an executive, Teyu possesses much authority within the Foundation, though he does have a superior in the form of a man named Howard Stillman. Stillman is largely unaware of Teyu’s real intentions as is the rest of the Foundation, and Teyu is able to convince him to fund his department in its various projects. He is also a collaborator of the Grendarl administration and a traitor to the human race, disclosing to the President and to the Commander of the CP of new breakthroughs made by his department in the Foundation. Being in league with the Grendarl, Teyu also desires to see the Resistance put down once and for all.

Technology: The only device that Teyu requires to run his department and to receive personal messages from his masters is his advanced PDA device. A tiny steel device on his hand, it is capable of projecting a very clear holographic touch-sensitive image that acts like the screen of the primitive 21st century Earth models. Transmitted footages can be played on this very compact PDA device. It is capable of producing detailed GPS maps and record with frighteningly clear clarity when played back, other people’s quiet conversations. Just one swipe of the PDA screen can theoretically authorise one of his weapons of mass destruction to be launched, though pragmatically he would never do that.

Transportation: Like those near the higher echelons of power and prestige, Teyu does not favour the use of Grav Lifts despite them being an invention of the Utopia Foundation. In fact, seeing as his apartment above the Vaudeville is so close to the actual skyscraper of the Utopia Foundation and how he goes practically nowhere else, he is one of very few people can afford to use his feet as a form of transportation. He typically walks around carrying a white briefcase.

Augments:

Shockwave: This augment is utilised on Teyu’s left arm – the arm that is still mostly organic unlike his right arm. By snapping his fingers he can create a shockwave field that can cause a very painful buzz in the ears of enemies around him (a radius of about 30ft) as well as temporarily disable enemy communication systems for approximately a few minutes within that radius. To constantly use the shockwave field in a short length of time though, reduces the effectiveness of the buzzing and interference effect and can seriously burn his left arm with searing pain. He once had this same augment on his right arm but due to overuse, the subsequent burning of his right arm was serious enough that it had to be replaced with a largely cybernetic one.

Body modifications: As detailed already, Teyu’s hands are both cybernetic and capable of converting into weapons. The right hand can become a short blade and his left hand a hummingbird-sized laser pistol. Most of his right arm is cybernetic due to the Shockwave augment burn effect. It is presumable that his right arm is therefore physically stronger, though as a combatant, Teyu is not as proficient as his masters may be. His eyes are partially artificial, as seen with the silver and this effectively allows him to have terrific eyesight and focus staring at a screen for copious lengths of time without eye strain or deterioration.

One major modification to his body is the Necroform technology. Teyu had already died years ago to a Resistance attack. He was revived when the Utopia Foundation injected a unique bio-stability substance into his corpse and he essentially came back to life. Being a Necroform however, isn’t much of a life as the body temperature is approximately 20 degrees Celsius lower than a normal human’s and that if he does not take the bio-stability substance on a regular basis then his body tissue will just degrade and he will turn into nothing but dust. Re-killing a Necroform can be accelerated with a bio-destabilising substance which was also created by the Foundation. Being a Necroform however, has advantages as wounds can heal quickly and as the bio-stabiliser destroys the nervous system, Teyu feels no physical pain.

Skills: Teyu is an authoritative man. Dictating orders is nothing new to him and in his profession, he often dictates on a daily basis to his department. A persuasive man, Teyu is able to coax an individual into doing whatever he wants (providing such demands are reasonable of course) without needing to give away barely any information. As a researcher and a scientist, he is very adept with technological hands, being able to repair his implants at ease with the sufficient tools and knowledgeable when it comes to whatever mass-produced products have been made by the Utopia Foundation.

History: One thing that Teyu never admits is that his parents were Resistance members. They were suspicious of the oppressive government and demanded individual freedom. They worked underground – or rather, under the mist of Zerice in a vain attempt to gain more intelligence into the inner workings of the Corinithian government in hopes that in the future they could overthrow this dictatorial tyranny and liberate the world. Teyu spent much of his early life therefore, within the mist-ridden lower abysses of the city and his body did not take kindly to the polluted air. He inherited a genetic condition that affected only very few people in his Korean family tree that meant excessive levels of carbon compounds could potentially be fatal to him. Teyu was hardly allowed out and was under the constant watch of a strict family friend with a gas mask always on while his parents were hardly home to conduct their mission as couriers working against the government. Trapped and in solitude, Teyu hardly knew anyone besides the home tutors who offered him basic education. He had no close friends of his age and with his parents always away and the family friend mostly quiet and strict, no one to really love him. This started his desperate mentality to find someone of whom he could love with all his heart and to be loved in return.

A double tragedy occurred when Teyu was nine. His mother was allegedly captured by the CP and was never heard from again and a few days later his father was fatally shot through the head, also by the CP. Teyu’s health by then had vastly deteriorated despite hardly ever being out and constantly donning the mask. Out of desperation, the family friend who had looked after him (or rather, imprisoned?) him for years handed the boy over to the family of a government official for adoption. This was necessary, as it would mean that Teyu would be able to move away from the mist and higher up towards the upper levels of Zerice where his health could improve and stabilise again. The official and his family were moderately kind and gave him a more rigorous and better quality education, but were unaware of who he was the son of. Living with the government official and his family, Teyu gained his everlasting interest in studying up on Earth, his ancestors’ home planet. Soon he was engrossed with reading up on everything about it – Earth’s history, its society, its way of life, its species and its geography – but soon came across the darker side to humankind. It was during his teenage years when he would find out just what humanity had done to Earth. Through ignorance, unending pollution, wars out of greed and such, humanity had single-handedly destroyed a beautiful oasis in the vast deserts of space. Now, they seemed to be repeating that with Corinith.

As he attained the age of 18, he moved out of the government official’s family and sought to pursue some way of preventing humanity from destroying another world. Years of research into the fate of Earth and on Corinith’s past had facilitated in him a deep disdain for the foolishness of man and how it must be stopped. He quickly gained an apprenticeship in a small scientific research company situated in the middle tier of Zerice. It was here that Teyu discovered his enthusiasm for science and research, soon seeking also to pioneer and create various new forms of technology. When the Utopia Foundation assimilated the small company, Teyu’s chance came. Becoming an employee of the Foundation, he quickly rose up through the ranks, being the youngest person to do so. The Foundation as he soon discovered, was closely affiliated with the government and since he had lived with a government official’s family for years (being grateful to them), he easily sympathised with the government and saw its oppression of the people as being a necessary evil. Unlike the rest of the Foundation, Teyu would soon discover that Grendarl, not humans, were really pulling the strings and in the seat of power. Not even Howard Stillman – a direct superior – knew of the Grendarl. This did not matter to him as long as he could still serve the Grendarl.

Teyu made the mistake of confronting Resistance members. He confronted several of them on one occasion when he was 21, threatening to summon the CP to have them taken away. The Resistance members were no pushovers and did resist and Teyu ended up being fatally shot to the head, ironically, like his father was shot by the government-backed CP. By the time Foundation officials found him, he was already dead. They took his body and experimented on him with the bio-stabiliser substance that successfully revived his tissues and his organs. Teyu became a cold-blooded zombie essentially, and relied on the stabiliser to maintain his body tissue to avoid degradation. Upon realising what he had become, he announced to himself that he was no longer human, but a Necroform – an undead. Now a Necroform, the reliance on the bio-stabiliser would eventually destroy his nervous system to the point that he no longer feels pain. Taking this opportunity, he had augmentation implants on his right arm. To a normal human, this would be the most painful experience imaginable, though Teyu simply laughed through the entire operation, claiming that because he could not feel any pain and was an abomination of science, he surpassed humanity. He gained the Shockwave augmentation technique, and decided to attack Resistance members with this new power.

He also had his left hand amputated and replaced with a cybernetic one that could become a laser pistol. Using a combination of Shockwave and the pistol, he killed several – though often without consent from the CP. On one occasion however, he overused Shockwave and burnt most of his right arm. Quickly degrading, not even the bio-stabiliser could save the decaying arm so the forearm was amputated and promptly replaced with a cybernetic one – as well as a new hand that doubled as a blade. He also had implantations on his eyes for greater work-related efficiency. After this experience, he stopped trying to attack Resistance members and couriers fearing that the CP would do him in as well and decided to dedicate himself entirely to the Foundation and its research and development. He would receive corpses now and again by the CP to test new augmentation devices or implants on – even dissecting them personally to test the effects of the bio-destabilising substance. It was morbid, but he enjoyed it. He enjoyed seeing himself as a pioneer of science and at the same time a loyal servant of the Grendarl.

Accepted. Seeing as how your character is technically dead, I guess experiencing no pain is acceptable. :ahmed:

Here in the next couple of days, I'll be sending all Corinithian government supporters a TAWP SEECRIT pee em. :mokken:

I'm mulling over some ideas right now and I plan on making a resistance member, however would it be alright if I added you as a friend Chell so we could go over some details prior to me finishing his bio?

Request sent.

Just a heads up to everyone, I'm out of town for a while. I'll still be reviewing bios, but I may be a little slow in doing so. I should be back by Friday the 15th at the latest; Tuesday the 12th at the earliest.

No Probs.

I was thinking of grabbing a second character that's an elf. So if the two elves haven't been reserved already, could I get my grubby hands on one?

Awesome :D

Right when I get the info I'll begin my bio in this post (not giving anything away in said bio ofc)

Also I am going to assume the elves will live life just like the other characters or will things be explained in the tawp sekrit info?

Character Bio - Finished

Name: Meleena Rivers.
Age: 157 (approximately 23 in human years)
Race/Species: Elf
Appearance:
Fairymelody_by_yaichino.jpg

Eyes: Beautiful big orbs framed with the longest thickest black Lashes. Meleena has the most stunning eyes. They are deep indigo in colour and show a lot of emotion. She is a terrible liar because her eyes give her away every time.
Hair: Long and perfectly straight. Her deep purple hair flows down to her mid-back. She has a large thick fringe that falls down to her eyebrows framing her petite face nicely.
Skin: Fair skin blemish free; It looks soft to the touch. She has a light tan that gives her some colour but she'd still be counted as pale.
Body Type: Meleena is tall and slender with perfect posture. Her legs are long and well toned adding to most of her height. She is rather busty which attracts a lot of unwanted attention, specially when she tries her hardest not to be seen.
Height: Five foot 10, tallish for a human woman but just the right size for an elven woman.
Weight: 57kg, she's a little on the thin side.
Clothing Style: Meleena is well taken care of and is bought only the most beautiful of clothing. She almost constantly wears silk dresses, mostly in darker shades like blue or purple. She will almost always be in heels. When she goes out to run errands for her 'Sir' she will wear a black cloak with a hood, it's not too unusual for people to wear cloaks as a lot of the poorer people are often seen in them. She finds she can easily get around the city with her ears unnoticed this way.
Accessories: When at home she is clad in jewels, she has 4 earrings in each of her long pointed ears, a pendant she wears around her neck and she'll often mix and match bracelets.
Other: Other than her ears the only thing worth noting is that on her arms and back she has elven markings. These are tattoos that look similar to henna. She has beautiful leaves across her arms up to her shoulders. Grayson had her tattoo barbed wire around her left arm and back as a sign that she was 'his'.
Personality:
To any one who's met her (which is not a lot of people) she seems to be quiet and a little uptight. This is because Grayson her 'master' for lack of a better title forbids her to talk to anyone. She must sit there looking pretty, she must be seen and not heard or he threatens her. Telling her he'll out her to the Government.

She is really quite an emotional girl on the inside, her face usually shows what she is feeling. She'd much rather be with the other elves than stuck in this filthy city but, although she hates Corinith, Meleena is naive and gullible and finds she can't help but try to see the good in humans. She can't seem to make herself believe that they're all as bad as they seem even though they keep proving to be.

She is easily excited and longs for a friend, someone to talk to in this lonely world. Grayson doesn't exactly fill that role and most of the time he ignores her, she is more like a 'trophy' to him than anything else and she is sure that when he gets sick of her he'll give her to the Government.

Unfortunately she is not very good at fending for herself and relies on Grayson for almost everything. She is a little bit of a princess in this regard and it makes her seem almost child-like. So although she's had many chances to escape him she hasn't as she knows she has no where to go and no money or food.

Weapons:
Meleena does not have access to any weapons at all.

Place of Living:
pad.jpg

(Imagine the building to look like that without the palmtrees and water)

Meleena is currently living in a mansion of an apartment with Grayson Godfray, the owner of a Grav Lift manufacturing company. Grayson is incredibly rich and can get what he wants when he wants. His home reflects that in every way possible. The outside is artistic and smart and only the most rich of rich live here.

He has the most modern version of absolutely everything. The windows in his house can be transformed into computer screens just by flicking a switch. His fridge knows when they are running low on food and orders more itself, one complete wall in his home is even an electric fireplace.

His bedroom is large, sporting a king-sized bed. He has all kinds of abstract new-age art (all approved by the government of course) hanging on his walls. The house just screams I have more money than I know what to do with.

Occupation:
Meleena does not have an occupation. She was bought by Grayson and he provides her with all the food and materialistic objects she could ever desire.

Transportation:
When allowed out of the house Meleena is made to walk from place to place, she is much too clumsy for a grav lift and cannot drive a car to save her life. Sometimes she is allowed to travel in the back of their limo though.

Augments:
Meleena has two Augments in total.

Psychic Abilities:
She has had her brain modified so that she can move things with her mind so long as it weighs under 20 kilos. Anything bigger and she has to really concentrate which usually results in nosebleeds or even bleeding through her eye sockets and afterwards a huge migraine that lasts for days. If she is using this augment to lift a cup or other tiny objects she doesn't seem to have any side effects thankfully.

Regeneration: Meleena's skin has been modified to heal itself. If she has been cut or bruised she can heal it within a matter of seconds she can even grow back small appendages such as toes of fingers but she cannot grow back a whole arm or leg. She also cannot heal fatal wounds like a stab to the heart for instance. Side effects include painful skin where the healing has taken place or on extreme occasions, (like when she had to regrow her pinky because she accidentally chopped it off in the kitchen), partial body paralysis depending on where the extreme healing has been done.

Body modifications:
Meleena is 100% Natural and she plans to keep it that way. Elves do not believe in technology like the humans do and she does not think modifying her body is necessary.

Skills:
First Aid: She is quite skilled at first aid treatment and can perform CPR and use a defibrillator like it's second nature. She'd been forced to learn by Grayson.

Memory: Meleena has an amazing memory. She can remember almost anything, like the name of someone she met once years ago or a minor detail that no one would even think to remember.

History:
Meleena had never known the Corinith before the time of Humans.
She was born 157 years ago to a pure elf mother, Reemah and pure elf father Johrah. They were captured as slaves in the black market and had found love during that dark time. Unfortunately they had been split apart when Johrah was found by the Government. He was taken and never heard from again.

Nobody was interested in buying a pregnant elf and Reemah ended up giving birth to Meleena in a dark cold dungeon. Mother and child stayed together for 50 years. Reemah passed on all the information she knew about the elves hoping her daughter could use the information to save herself one day. Meleena swore to keep her mothers secret safe.

A year later sickness due to poor conditions took Reemah's life and a young Meleena was left to fend for herself. She was brought up a slave like her mother but was too young to sell, they gave her two augments to make her more desirable and to this day she will tell you that it was the most horrific experience of her life. She out lived many of her handlers, until finally she was 150 years old.

A young man named Grayson who was the owner of a Grav Lift manufacturing company ended up buying her for 200,00 Credits finding her stunning beauty too hard to resist. He knew she was illegal to keep but who hadn't done something illegal in their life?

He kept her within his stunning home as a trophy and slave, having her run his errands for him, and although he gave her everything she wished he still neglected her and treated her harshly, as the slave she was.

She has currently been living with him for 7 years, dreaming of the day she finally musters up the courage to run away and make her own life - hopefully with the other elves if they're even still around.

Things will be explained in the TAWP SEECRIT info. But what I can tell you, is that Elves aren't able to live normally. The Grendarl want them, so all Elves are detained if seen by CP. :gasp:

Ok I've finished her Bio. :) lemme know if you want me to change anything (I might have gotten something incorrect about the elves or something)

Draco Malfoy
Sorry to stick my nose in your bio... :wacky:

Anyway, good bio. The only part that you would need to add on to is her regeneration augment. It's more powerful than Alyss', and I have no problem with that, I like the diversity of two people sharing the same augment but having different limitations. That's what I had in mind with the augment system. However, if it is more powerful (as she can grow back a finger and Alyss could not), it would need some kind of toll on the body if it was ever used. For Alyss, the more it heals, the more tired it leaves her. Something along those lines would be fine.

Other than that, she's good to go. If Alyss ever finds out about her, she'll be very tempted to rescue her. E.L.F = Elf Liberation Front

Chell
You're so Nosy >:C

Ok I fixed it up, I'm actually a bit shocked I forgot her augment flaws as I'm rather big on having characters with major weaknesses haha, makes them more believable :).

I'm sure if Alyss found her Meleena would be more than happy to tag along with her like a long lost puppy!

Now go have a Sniff around my edits and tell me if you Pick up on anything else (ohoho)

Name: David Egret

Age: 22

Race/Species: Human

Appearance:

Supplemental Picture 1

Supplemental Picture 2

With a powerful, muscular build; David stands in at 5'10” and weighs 175 lbs. He has short-length white hair that rests just above his eyes neatly pushed away from his face and has a warm light brown complexion to his skin, creating an appealing contrast. His eyes continue the trend with a light hazel color.

When it comes to clothing David can often be found wearing v-neck t-shirts that show off his physique with jeans and shoes to match. He is also a big fan of leather coats, particularly with fur collars and keeps his favorite brown coat always close by when the temperature gets a little cold.

Personality:

David is a natural born leader, trusted by all of his friends and colleagues. Possessing a strong sense of determination and a short fuse, David fights to accomplish his goals with a lot of fierce emotion. Though this would paint him as a man that can be rash he is almost anything but. His perceptiveness is startling to those who paint a picture of his personality before getting to know him and reveals a surprising layer of depth inside him. He also has a penchant for keeping emotional problems to himself. In order to be a pillar of strength for others, he can't allow himself to show emotional pain, leading him to fight an internal struggle with himself.

An artist at heart, David loves music and is always playing his guitar under closed doors or can be found listening to old cds, relics from the past that everyone but him has long abandoned. In many ways he can be seen as a person stuck in the past, from his casual appearance harkening back to the 21st century to his firm but relaxed way of talking.

When it comes to relationships with others, David believes communication is the key to any successful endeavor. Fostering friendship isn't built on one person leading the way so he listens to other people's opinions and frequently takes them into consideration.

Weapons:

Trained in close-quarters combat that has been all but forgotten in modern day, David specializes in rare combat styles such as Muay Thai and Boxing. He is very capable with a firearm if required but isn't too fond of modern weaponry.

Occupation:

Underground Fighter: A haven for gray-collar workers to get their frustration out, David and others with the desire to duke it out in the ring for cash and an escape from the rough daily life of Zerice meet in an undisclosed location. There are a set of rules though.

 1. Don't talk about the Fight Club.
 2. Do NOT talk about the Fight Club. (;
Place of living:

Supplemental Picture

Performing successfully in the ring has its benefits as it allows David the luxury of living comfortably just above the mist in the areas of the lower class. With comfort and simplicity in mind, his home is a two bedroom apartment with a view that faces the outskirts of the city. He lives alone so his second bedroom was converted into a small music studio, with his guitar and shelves full of old cds that David has collected over the years. His bed is a standard queen-sized mattress that rests right on the floor next to a closet full of clothes and martial arts equipment. There's not much in the way of furnishings beyond the standard amenities of a house. However, his kitchen is always stocked with anything a cook could need, with a refrigerator full of food, especially meats.

Transportation:

Supplemental Picture

David has a grav lift but often prefers to walk to destinations whenever possible, thus his skill with it is only enough for him to get from point A to point B without too much trouble.

Augments:

Fists of Anubis: To compensate for his disdain for modern weaponry and the fading usefulness of close-quarters combat, David has his arms augmented with devastating power. This augmentation gives him a modest boost in the strength of his arms and also allows him to channel his inner energy to sudden bursts of power. However, to maintain his health and fitness, David must take a periodic insulin shot that prevents his body from over-exerting itself. In addition, any use of the augmentation for a blast of energy causes exhaustion after and is not recommended in repetition at the risk of permanent injury to his arms.

Body modifications: None

Skills: David has a few skills that may come as a surprise. He is equally skilled with both hands in mundane tasks as he is ambidextrous, giving him the ability to multitask very well. In addition he is a very good cook and loves to try out new recipes whenever possible. Less surprising is his musical inclination, being a very skilled guitarist and having a high aptitude for other instruments as well as having absolute pitch; a rarity in modern times.

History:

Born in 478 A.C, David was dropped off at an orphanage at the age of three for reasons unknown at this time. However, this is not to assume that David did not have a good upbringing. Though he lacked a traditional family experience, what he got was a loving mistress and one of the best set of friends anyone could ask for.

The trio of David, Leo, and Elhaym (referred to as Elly) were absolutely inseparable growing up. They did everything together, going with their mistress, Emeralda, for shopping trips or doing chores around the orphanage; it was nearly impossible to see one without the other two far behind.

But more importantly, their mistress gave them a strong moral foundation to build upon. She instilled ideologies of bravery, courage, strength, kindness, and virtue into the children, sowing the seeds for successful futures.

Things weren't always pleasant though. Living in the slums under the mist was hard going and Emeralda's aging body wasn't exactly in the best condition to live there. However, she could not afford to move into better conditions so they made the best of the situation.

As the children grew older, Leo and Elly grew intimate with each other, alienating David in a way. He would no longer be welcomed so often for group activities with them and would feel uncomfortable when he was. He solved this by getting into music, listening to old cds that Emeralda had from her ancestors items. Noticing his increasing musical aptitude, Emeralda decided to pass down to David a rare instrument that barely saw use these days. An old guitar.

David became immediately infatuated with it, spending day in and day out practicing the instrument, enjoying every step of the way. It's here that David's seeds of disdain formed against the government.

One evening when he was playing outside the orphanage, a civil protection officer noticed the instrument. Since this was in direct violation of the rules, he had the guitar seized and destroyed. This crushed David, wondering why the man was so cold towards him. All he had been doing was enjoying himself; he wasn't hurting anybody. Emeralda explained to him consolingly that was just the way things were nowadays but David wouldn't have it. From then on he would eventually aspire to change things for the better.

Instead of guitar, now he would practice martial arts, watching old videos of people fighting in tournaments to learn. His dedication was even fiercer than his commitment to his guitar, designing brutal training regimens for himself. He had to become stronger if he was ever to right what he felt was wrong with the world.

Tragedy struck yet again unfortunately when Emeralda's sickness became too great for her to bear. Her passing heavily affected the trio of orphans, who had looked up to her as a pillar of everything that was good in the world.

Without the aid of their mistress, the trio was left looking for answers in a cold world that was sterile, controlling, and heartless. With the money she had left each of them, Elly and Leo continued to run the orphanage while David scheduled an augmentation surgery for him arms. The operation was grueling, leaving him in intense pain for weeks after the surgery. He soldiered on through it though, and came out much stronger for it.

David realized that there was no place in his life for Leo and Elly anymore. They were good people, just obeying the laws of the government and looking after children. There was no room for someone who would cause trouble for them.

So after he recovered from his augmentation, he left the orphanage without so much as a word to them. His only connection to them is money that he sends to the orphanage to help them out every once in a while from an undisclosed address.

Being alone allowed David to focus more on the real problem in his life. The government. With it's restrictions and lack of individual freedom, it's an assault on human nature. Using his winnings from the fight nights in order to live, now he bides his time in order to join the resistance and strike down everything that's wrong in the world.

(Feel free to critique anything that might be unsatisfactory, worked a long time on this one. Want to make a grand character for a grand rp so let's start everything as best as it can be.)

Name:
ARK 001 "Thanatos"

Age:
Unknown

Race:
Robot

Appearance/Back:

Thanatos is a robot standing at 2 meters tall, but unlike the many others that have been made, its only human features is its shape. Gray metal in its entirety, its entire body shows numerous platings and contour lines. Its head is faceless bar a single electronic eye in the middle that is generally green. The eye looks more like a light however. and are colour coded for aggression. Green being normal, yellow a warning and red is attacking. Its back is more complex than the front. While the front is smooth, the back has a external spine like contraption running from the base of its head all the way down to the pelvic region. At his upper back, it has two port covers that lets its jet pack come out for short flight. Thanatos has no gender and its voice is an indistinguishable computer voice, though some say Thanatos sounds more female than male, though only by a slight bit. It is smooth but with a slight mechanical software tone. People that hear what it says clearly and easily understand it, but can tell that it is artifical speech.

Attire:
Contrasting the futuristic and advanced technology of Corinth, Thanatos is equipped with an external armour on top of its exoskeleton skin (more on his mechanical details later). Aesthetically, it is oriental and decorated, but contains many futuristic features that would dwarf anything less that a well equipped and trained squad.
Helmet: Its helmet covers the entirety of the top of its head with a decorative horn rail in the middle. Protecting its neck is a shikoro, or hanging plate mail armour protecting the rear and sides of the neck whilst it has two cheek pieces that fall down around its jaw over to where its cheek bones would be. When activated, a clear face mask would slot down in front of its face, capable of stopping bullets.

Body (minus face):
Following its helmet's colour scheme, all the platings are dark gray predominately as the base with red as the secondary colour. It's chest armour piece has dark grey replacing where it is yellow. Its pants is black with white patterns whilst the belt is red. replacing the sandals is these armoured boots, though the shin guards do overlap over it.
Personality:
Mission bound and succinct. You would not find Thanatos outside chatting up some person or having a nice cup of tea in a small coffee shop. It would/ may listen to a person, but would do very little to affect it from cutting them down. It's personality is as simple as that. Even though it is given a highly advanced and free AI core, it chooses to not exercise its ability to explore and grow to act human, preferring to act and remain perfectly efficient in a robotic manner

Weapon
:
As the Government's homing lethal vector against its enemies, Thanatos is loaded with weaponry and with a completely mechanised body, weight isnt really a big issue.
Unnamed Nodachi: A long curved blade about 140 cm in total length. Unlike many weapons of the current era, this nodachi was a masterpiece that originated from back on earth in the olden Japanese era. Its name, however has been obscured over time. Taken aboard the Ark by a collector, it was worth a large sum due to its antiquity. However, it soon, through rather mysterious means, disappeared from the face of Corinth and eventually the rumoured sword reappeared much later in the hands of the boogeyman of the Government.

Much has been done to the blade. While it retains its old exterior aesthetics, it has been sharpened by high grade laser to a feather cutting edge, quite easily cutting through a body by its own weight and edge. To combat the energy weapons out in the city, the nodachi had been given the latest top secret hybrid laser edge system. Much superior to anything that even the military owned, this system allows Thanatos to dice through plate armour of vehicles, buildings, walls and anything short of a main battle tank. Of course, things with thick armour would take a bit of time to cut through, but unless it is military grade, Thanatos can dice through things like butter.

Thanatos keeps the sword sheathed behind its waist in hard sheath. The sheath also doubles as an energy storage unit for Thanatos to store power for use.

An additional bonus to the sword is that upon cutting anything with slight electical pulse (so basically anything from humans to power lines), it absorbs the power from it and when sheathed back in the sheath, is transferred for storage there. How much is gathered depends on the strength of the pulse. Humans generally gather a moderately small amount, boosted by augments and Corinth's advanced culture.

Katana x 2: Obviously, even though Thanatos can cleave through walls, it is still a bother in combat at times and in certain circumstances, must be avoided. Therefore, right under the main sheath for the Nodachi, Thanatos has two of these flat katana sheathed side by side. They host similarly advanced hybrid system, though are weaker. Normal walls are still no issues, but taking down armoured vehicles with these are tough and difficult, requiring time to dice through the plating.

S.A.B.B Highly Compressed Acetylene Gas Blades x 2: #2
Basically a pair of fire blades each reaching a meter in length. Combining highly compressed oxygen and Acetylene gas with assistive combustion, the blades heat up to over 4000 degrees celcius. Stored in the rear of the blades are a small block of super dense, compressed reactionary materials that when fed with energy from the sheath, supplies the Acetylene for the blade. The rear bulb stores a similar block of solid oxygen that when fed energy, supplies the oxygen. Stored actually inside Thanatos's hips at the pelvis, the storage rack pops open when they are required. Therefore, it is concealed.

Place of Living:
Unknown, but it is within Government property and with access only from those in the highest position. That said, in actuality, only the three Grendarl actually have access to it directly.

Where Thanatos actually resides is a large dome-like room that is unlit bar one powerful spotlight over in the middle that shines on the charging station that is situatied dead in the middle. The station resembles a large regeneration tank, about 5 meters in diameter and 8 tall, enclosed with a clear cylindrical wall. However, it is empty of any fluid and hanging from the top of the cylinder is a mass of wires, tubes and mechanical limbs in which would slot in the appropriate wire into the back of Thanatos and hoist it into mid air when not called to act, leaving it on standby. In a short distance from the tank, still lit up by the ambient light from the spotlight, all his weapons and his armour are stored, The entire place is pitch black outside of the circle of light and the doors to the chambers are heavy set doors.

Occupation:
Enforcer

Technology:
Thanatos' entire being is technologically advanced for combat effectiveness. There are a few aspects that does stnad out amongst it however.
Redundancy System: The hazardous tasks that Thanatos is put up against means that some parts will fail. Therefore, many of its critical systems have redundancy back ups. Most notable of these is the skeletal system. With an external exoskeleton skin, Thanatos can take huge amount of damage and is capable of armour lock up. It also has a redundancy system of an endoskeleton system INSIDE the shell and an exterior spinal system that would activate should the exoskeleton's main body sustain too much damage. Hydraulic systems are also a back up system to the internal muscle packages. Its optics also have back ups. Should the main eye be damaged, the line on its face opens up the plating, revealing four extra in a diamond formation that would replace the damaged unit.

Flight Unit: It does what it says it does. This is a collapseable jet unit stored at the shoulder blade of Thanatos. Traversing between buildings and chasing after escape vehicles are well within the boundaries of the unit. It is only for short term use in the city, however. By sacrificing duration, it possess incredible speed capable of matching most high end cars.

Flight Stabilisers: While it has a flight unit, it is limited in turning. Therefore, in order to perform tight turns and sharp weaving, Thanatos possess two high power energy stabilisers in its hands (similar to iron man). While capable of being used as a shock blast emitter at relatively short range, its main job is for flight stabilising. When compressed into a small output diameter, it can pierce objects at 100 meters with a visible vapour trail, though with its overpenetrative power and energy cost, Thanatos does not do this.

Energy shielding:Thanatos lacks a wide ranged weaponry, depending heavily on its swords and speed. However, ever single other person are equipped with ranged weaponry. Therefore, it is equipped with an energy shield which is capable of taking on projectile weapons from a small pistol to a artillery shell or missile. Of course, proportionate to the power, Thanatos would be able to take more small arm fire than missiles and such. There are several special properties for the shield, both positive and negative. The positive is that any energy weaponry is absorbed and used to recharge its shield. Should Thanatos plug itself directly into a power line, it can keep up its shielding against heavy weaponry for a while. Therefore, energy small arms in fact assist it in charging. Ballistic projectiles are neutral and are just stopped. The shield has no affect on melee attacks, nor the energy from energy melee weapons.

When in passive mode, energy rounds semi phase through and does not charge shield, though ballistics are still stopped. In active mode, a transparent gold dome flashes at the area bullets hit. Only in this mode can Thanatos stop cannons and missiles.

Transportation:
Thanatos's flight unit is sufficient enough for it to be used to travel anywhere within city limit relatively fast.

Augments:
None as it is a robot

Body Modification:
With Thanatos being completely mechanical, it has a lot of modifications to its body. Firstly is its redundancy systems in its body. Secondly is its ability to satellite link for real timie information and data. Third is on board advanced AI that is its mind and used for advanced processing. The exterior exoskeleton is both physical and laser resistance making it extremely difficult in piercing or breaking through.

On Thanatos back, he has two long flail mechanical arms with pincers at the end, each nestled right next to the port of the flight unit and collapseable into its back. Each reach a total of three meters when fully extended and capable of extremely small, delicate movements and control or deadly whipping and crushing blow with the arms or stabbing with the pincer tips.

Skills:
It has no need for skills that does not assist in combat.

History:
There is very little history for Thanatos. Whilst the Dorthy line of robots was made with the intentions for the public and was privately owned, the Government did have its hands with its research and production. What it was doing was using the company as a front in order to advance AI technology and robotics. Whatever Dorthy put out, the Grendarls would advance on their foundations. By the time Dorthy had begun to release their 8th Generation models, it was deemed to begin to become a slight threat as it may give the Humans a deadly tool should robotics continue at its current pace. Under the guise of robotic discrimination and decline in popularity, all which was instigated by the Government, Dorthy was soon closed down and terminated.

However, the Grendarls themselves constructed an AI that was far superior to anything that the Humans had made due to their experience due to their millenia's worth of living. Thanatos, thus was made to be at the beck and call of the Grendarls when extreme measures need to be taken. Decades ahead of anything that may be secretly developed, Thanatos had already been dispatched before, silencing with extreme prejudice anythig the Grendarls deem a target. So efficient and deadly it was that Thanatos soon began to be known as the boogeyman of the Government, a mythical, urban myth used to describe unexplained deaths and destructions. To date, no one has ever caught a clear, unobstructed sight of Thanatos, though the public does have a general impression of it, being a tall, humanoid wielding blades donned in an oriental armour. Most people that do see it clearly are dead.
